The market is likely to be rangebound.

Dangote Refinery IPO is here. However, For the 1st time, I feel sad for what the Nigeria investor are facing or are going to face in the future. This is important for me as someone who have lost money in the market in the past thinking the Nigerian big money men can play a fair game in the market. Our regulators need to up their game .
Actually to me all the Billionaires in Nigeria are actually poor men in disguise ( yes I mean it, I look at SPACE X) to see how many common people in America became millionaires alone due to buying space X shares before the listing, there is a system where common people can buy unquoted stocks prior to listing and is available nearly to the general public, you may not be able to count them. who reply on direct or indirect Government support.

Dangote Owners (sorry, I don't know them), to retain +84% of stock after listing looks absurd, no wonder you and me are targeted, I don't see the big money holding on to that stock after the listing is completed as nobody will have a say in this IPO company we are taking about. So we can see the reason that the company is even trying to frustrate the big money from the word go.

So, for all the noise "caveat emptor".

Our regulators need to tell our Government the truth (I know SEC would equally be under some pressure in this matter, so we cannot really blame them, at please they are one Government Regulator you can trust their judgement, remember what they did earlier when attempt was made to override then. I will continue to give Kudos to SEC, they still show some professionalism only that higher authorities may twist their arm), This noisy IPO is like insanity, where is that 20% minimum float rule?

I will say "Nigeria we hail thee", we hail thee for what!!! Fantastically................, we can complete it . For SEC, please continue in your good works, we appreciate what you are doing in the face of political maneuvering and open/subtle intimidations. LONG LIVE "SEC"

Despite the market showing some intentions for recovery, it may be better for us to wait till near close of market for any buy. Best buys for today are likely to be the bitcoin stocks, next week will likely be a good week for Bitcoin stocks.

Today is a day to just relax, enjoy doing some window shopping. Negative CPI report, plus triple witching days can be brutal, this is an important reminder. Hold on, buy only the stocks we have recommended anytime after 8.30pm Nigeria time.

Today is a 50/50 chance for bull/bears. However I will stay on the side of the bulls.

Big money is definitely stepping into the market.

WHAT IS THE MARKET GOING TO DO TODAY!!
Today, the fundamentals and the technicals are in agreement, we are likely to see a bearish market with Allshare index index likely to range between -0.28 to -1.08

It will take a miracle for today to show any bullish sign.

MARKET MAKE A BIG RECOVERY TODAY AGAIN
The market is making us smile again, the Semiconductor stocks are making some recovery and AI stocks are coming back.

Let us see how AMD will perform in terms of earnings after the close today.

On the IRAN war. Trump should just stop talking, but should award the contract to Israel to take out the IRANIAN trouble makers. At least nobody will pity IRAN again, they have passed their limit.

So let us see. If the Arabian Brothers (UAE. SAUDI, PAKISTAN etc) currently taking up the matter with IRAN fails, then Israel can come in again and show some stuff they are made of by targeting the Leadership of the IRGC.

Even the on going peace deal looks pike a stop gap solution. IRAN is still talking that it is just for the 3 months intial deal, so after after 3 months, they want to start afresh again?. I wish them goodluck

Market is difficult to precisely say what the direction will be. Fundamentals still telling us that bears are just by the corner, but currently strong buying in selected stocks is keeping the market up.

Today we expect a slightly bullish market.

US MARKET IS THOUGH ESPECIALLY WHEN THE CHIPS ARE DOWN
Today is a recovery day. Let us see what IRAN will do next. Somehow, it seems Israel is waiting on the sidelines to join the war (if issues escalates again, Trump may have bi option but allow Israel to join).

Probably Israel may produce the magic that was killing those key Iranian leaders at the beginning of the war. Fighting normal was with IRAN is pointless, just take away the key troublemakers on the IRANIAN side!!!

Really picking the best stocks on the US market side is a big task, no Wonder the forum is always quiet!!!

What will the market do today?

Fundamentals is telling us that sellers are still around the corner with the Government policies encouraging money to flow out of zhe stock market.

Probability of earnings sustaining the market looks dicey, as too many businesses are showing impact of difficult business environment.

We fold pur arms to see how investors will handle the current situation. IRAN war is like a spoiler for the world economy!!! The earlier it ends, the better for everyone.

Market highly volatile presently. So, we are holding on to our cash. IRAN/US war is really distrusting the market.

Despite all the effort to make IRAN to reason along with other Nations that expensive oil does no good, IRAN continues to be unreasonable. Let us see what happens by this weekend, as other Arabian Countries are trying to persuade IRAN to be reasonable on their conditions to end the war.

I don't know why Trump is not following the Israel strategy (just take out the key IRANIAN leader, especially those that are against peace).

We wait and see. For now, let us be patient, keep our cash and wait on the sidelines till IRAN war is over

Yes. HISA is best Nigeria App for bow. At least they are fully alive and very active/responsive to e-mails/phone calls. Commission is very reasonable between 1& 1.5% flat, no minimum charge (this is the cheapest commission on Nigeria APPS).

Let us be careful of some APPS, there is "Chipa Cash", which I read somewhere is nearly out of business!!!

At a time like this, we should just assume we have a sick and insane man as President.

Government have patched up this terrorism issue too much.

Terrorists are taking people's farm, send people awa from the farms, killing the farmers, to gives Nigeria a bad reputation which will reduce capacity to attract Investors etc.
