You need to tell us what you call penny stocks. Any stock below $5per unit are generally penny stocks. If it is this, there are quite a lot on nearly all platforms: GOTU, HUYA etc.

But if you are talking of those $0 045 stocks. Go and watch YouTube videos on penny stocks, but know that you money is at big risk and what you will see, you may not be able to tell anyone!!! Wish you well

*WEEKEND GIST- GLOBAL/US STOCK MARKET FOR THE NEW WEEK BEGINNING 22 APRIL 2025*

For the Global market, the atmosphere is still cloudy, we don't know if Trump will pull something new out of the Tariff hat of tricks (wonder how one man can be holding the whole world by the neck like this?). However, there is definitely more pressure on him and everybody is putting the blame for whatever befalls the dollar as a currency/ the stock market on his front door.

So for global market we should still be in risk off mode, only buying the best of stocks. The new week is a week or reckoning for Tesla with result expected after close of market on Tuesday, there is high probability that the result will be a bad one, so we continue to say Tesla is not a stock to buy for now.

Which stock are we buying on Monday: For Monday we continue to focus on blockchain stocks (list for Caucus members only). Also, in the medium term , Oil stocks should do well (AI requires a lot of power, this is part of the reason that the American Government has not been able to enforce the restrictions against Coal stocks,equally this week the oil Companies added more rigs to their operations after some period of inactivity).

For purpose of emphasis, if you have less than $1500 to start, stay with TROVE, CHAKA. The commission of between 1.00 to 1.5% are reasonable enough, especially when we realize they are operating in a very business unfriendly environment like Nigeria.

I am saying the Chaka/Trove commission is reasonable if we look at the pre-Charles Schwab time. . Also, $50 (in Naira equivalent) is all you need to open account with any of the 2 and for now I can say their service is fair.

Rally continued, but in fewer stocks compare with WEDNESDAY. Somehow, the Gold future did well, but effect not see in must GOLD stocks were not positively affected, this is like today most traders were interested in profit taking!!! That is the handwriting on the wall. While the contray applied to the blockchain stocks.

For now, our experience is making me not to have a favorite stock, I am not day trading, I am basically a swing trader. So, going further, interest in holding stocks for more than 2 to 3 weeks at most seems to be out of my consideration (if you watch the people we use as standards only few hold stock for more than 2 weeks, at Least I say example in Perry Kaufman). To assist in this, we now rely on our scanners to give us stocks to trade, so we do not want yo be emotionally attached to any stock (just like I pointed out, if it was before, I would have nevers sold TRMD at a time, now I have sold SMCI twice, taking away my profit when they were falling and then comming back at the appropriate time, this is one 9f the things one will learn from the experts). And getting good entry points for is is no big deal, our indicators are good (we even have some that we're eloped by crocket scientists, yet our entry has some quality of rocket science, but simplified, at a glance I can know is to buy of sell, 2 minutes is okay).

So, long story short, we bought MSTR today and sold SOUN. The 2 stock still remains on our watchlist though. And we have another stock lined up for buy "C _ _", our caucus members can fill the gap.

ON THE RATE CUT ISSUE
Please let us follow up the market and check both sides of things so that we do not scare ourselves out of the market.

If we have been following issues closely we will know that rate cut is not expected immediately. However, the rate cut agenda is on the table. We not not need any debate, all we need to do is flow with the market. The AGAIN, in the 1st information on rate cut is the culprit here.

Actually, we are all interested in this inflation matter and we know FED has a tough job at hand and just like all the world rose against inflation surge in the past, such collaboration may be necessary again, especially now that Russia has escaped all the sanctions put on their part to ensure rise in energy prices are curtailed. Let us be watching how the FED will tame this inflation in the face of rising energy prices.

However, going forward, the RATE CUT AGENDA is still on and ALIVE (actually it is a major driver of the bullish expectation in this market). So, if you hear that FED is abandoning rate cut, let us move our trades to the sell side.
