. never take trade ideas from unknown sources
. test all trade ideas with your technical analysis. I appreciate good ideas, like someone mentioned ROVER recently, a good one as per recent performance, our technicals should tell us the time to enter tge trade, it may not be the day tge idea was received

. avoid news trading/youtube recommended stocks. Many youtube mentioned stocks are advertisement in disguise to make you buy fairy new stocks/unpopular stocks

You can add own idea of what to watch for in order to stop losing money!!!

THE BULLISH MASCURADE WILL COME OUT TODAY?
After market opening, the GDP report will come out. Thus report is always according to expectations.

Report coming out positive will further move the market. However tomorrow's CPI is the key one. So we wait to see these reports.

End of another good week for the market. The coming week may be fairly dull. Main event is Wednesday Fed minuans the fact that we will have a four day trading week.

Below comment shows the the important of technical analysis over fundamental analysis for the small traders. If we are not careful, relying on fundamentals alone can kill our account, as it is fundamentals that will tell us to wait when prices of our investments are falling, instead of obeying the rule of cutting our losses short!!!

MARKET NOT BAD TODAY

Today we bought oil/tankers stock as planed.

The quality of a good trade is following your plan. Winning or losing does not matter.

However, a good system will deliver winners in the long run.

I NOW SEE WHY IT IS GOOD TO BE A SPECIALIST

Focusing on few indicators, few stocks and having a tab on intermarmaket analysis can have significant effect on our profitability!!!

Today we are going full blast on Energy, Oil specifically. As usual, we will tell our members what we have bought. For members, no need to worry, you can easily start with that oil stock we have been pointing out. It has the fundamental to withstand all the pressure that may come from the market!!!

EARLY MORNING SIGNAL IS GIVING INDICATION OF A LIKELY BULKIS DAY 16 NOV

Above is the general expectation of the market, but with some 2 Fed member speaking, any mention of "rate hike " will slow down the bullish move temporarily.

You need good indicators to succeed on this market. Example of a stock that our indicator say buy Is CVI, I did not see the fundamental, we bought and we are happy.

THIS MARKET LOOKS TOO HOT

Some stocks are looking too overbought. Today I overcome the temptation to buy anything. I want yo wait till tommorrow to see what to do. Some opportunities are just begging to deliver profits!!!

STOP LOSS IS GOOD

I was busy with something else, and suddenly today market made a 90 degree about turn from positive to negative. I just checked my wallet and my stop loss has taken me out of some trades. This is fantastic.

Going further, with POWEL speaking tommorow, at Jackson Hole conference. The speech may probable throw the market into a bearish "Hole". So, for today and better part of tommorrow, I want to be in cash!!! 5% Total loss on a portfolio is big. I need some rest!!!

MSCI is telling us to expect the slowdown to continue in the short term

TODAY IS A DAY WE SHOULD PUT OUR EMOTIONS IN CHECK
I was able to withstand the urge to place a new trade today. The rule of trading say we should watch the general market before making a move. You cannot be wiser than the market, so if the market is falling, there is no need to try to buy in order to pick a falling knive, all in the name of buying a pullback. My waiting just gave me opportunity to buy at a better time and probably lower price on another day!!!

So we keep our cash.

For now safety of our funds first.

WHAT DO YOU DO ON A FEARFUL DAY LIKE THIS AS MARKET PREPARES TO OPEN?
Simple, we follow our plan. If you have quality stocks, no need to worry, just follow your plan.

For us our plan today is to see[b] if our bitcoin stocks continue losing, we Exit today without fail. And if our stop loss pass a particular [/b]thresholds, we sell and move on. A example of maximum loss for a swing trader who holds strong stocks is 20%. So, any of my stock that hits the 20% threshold or lose 20% from a recent hight is booted out of my portfolio, no apology (please do not assume this figure is hight, we need to avoid losses getting to 50 or 70%. recovery will be too difficult) for 20%, recovery is possible Ina matter of weeks.

If you fail to exit your poor quality/loisi g stock this week, you may likely see a bigger loss next week. This is not to scare anybody, but just the reality.

Let us have a nice day and protect our capital.

Going forward, please this is a time to slow down, next week may be more dangerous than this week if tge 2 reports from US is negative!!!!

TARGET TECHNICAL ANALYSIS- MARKET PLAN FOR 20 APRIL 2023
Some investors are still buying Nigeria stocks as indicated by the MSCI chart (we will check the MSCI recent purchase and report back on the Nigeria stocks being purchased, the level of optimism by the MSCI chart is just too much, even better than what the local Nigeria market index is doing?

There is likelihood that checking MSCI addition may give us some clue. Transcorp still on fire next, resistance is 2.83 to 3.82 looking at the monthly chart. Current index support level to monitor is 50695.

DESPITE ALL THE ISSUES- CHAKA DID WELL TODAY
Complain that plaform was not working. Chaka responded swiftly and[b] I was able to place my my trade for the day. [/b]Quite commendable.

We are enjoying early Christmas here, problem is choosing if you should take your profit and jump to another. On some accounts Mara should be above 20% in profit at the moment and URANIUM sector is begging whoever cares to come for free money

I just try to us the small the small amount I have on Trove. To my surprise, they want to charge NGN4.9, when what I am buying is just NGN19. 7 in total

No story, I am withdrawing the cash and heading over to Chaka. We do not need to beg any app to be reasonable, we have our money and we can use it anywhere we want. This is why Sproutfi is best for me as at now.

And if Chaka, misbehave, I
say with my traditional local broken (Morgan of United Capital). I cannot even use these apps for local stocks, they are too small and charges high commission (sorry o CHAKA, TROVE AND others, we love you but you do not love yourselve ).

This current Government has failed in provision of Power (was power this bad in previous years in area you are currently staying, why did current Goverent not maintain the facilities) . Did we have outages like this in the past? The Buhari/APC regime should have used the various recovered looted funds to address the Power issue. At least Obasanjo solved Power problem during his time and the government is free to probe for looted funds and recover them. Current APC government has failed totally in the area of Electricity and Security. Our prayer is that may we never have these type of vagabonds in power again.

Electricity, security are one of the main problems and the Government is not serious about solving them. Let us be honest, except you are one of those who have been settled one way or thr other (like the party delegates) . APC should never see power in Nigeria again, just think of prices/figures/performance of theses items before APC Government and the prices now: Diesel, Exchange rate, rice, unemployment, inflation, security etc. I am sure if Nigeria is US, APC will never get the presidency for a long time. I know democrats know that they are losing the next election, a party that made the general living standard of the people to go down should not win the next election.

Nigerians are going through the darkest part of their lives in terms of living standard at the moment!!! So whoever/party in position of Government should never come back. Simple
