Of norms and customs,
In different hues and forms,
Some well-grounded,
Others totally unfounded.

The disparity between sexes,
Pervasive in climes aplenty,
Must be expunged like hexes,
Morally incumbent on cognoscenti.

To begin the crusade,
Together let's foot the bills,
Of this Valentine parade,
I can imagine a few squeals.

There's love in sharing,
Feathers need not be ruffled,
The burden we're jointly bearing,
Will leave fewer minds baffled.

For the benefit of mankind,
We need to walk in tandem,
None must be left behind,
Spending not restricted to them.
