Georgry: Obidients are going to find corn in her pocket now.
Ps
The reason I couldn't support Obi is because his supporters are painting him as a saint which was totally fallacious, the obidients aggressively defended this image, and anybody who makes an attempt to ask questions was bullied and cursed out, that's when I knew he's a total fraud.
i would have loved you to point out his crime, nobody is calling anyone a saint, but compared to those who have ruled and still ruling,in terms of corruption, Obi is far better, if not, tell us if he has ever been indicted.
nairalanda1: If you want it to be like saner climes, then Sanwo-Olu should in essence make every Lasgidi household pay a council tax of ....400000 monthly.
And every Nigerian should pay income tax that takes 30-50% of their income.
That's how saner climes can pay for and afford all the nice stuff you envy.
(But you guys will shout poverty...and show your laziness in challenging your government by saying they will steal the money. Oga...you are supposed to ensure, you and your feelow sitizens...that they don't.)
are you saying Lagos State is not taxing enough?, when it comes to multiple taxation give it to Lagos State,I know how civil servants are heavily taxed in Lagos as well as non civil servants,no State in Nigeria tax as much as Lagos.
A shocking viral video has ignited outrage across Nigeria, showing a tense confrontation between a Good Samaritan and a nurse at a Federal Medical Centre in Abuja. After bringing a critically injured accident victim to the Accident & Emergency unit, the citizen is met with shocking indifference, as a nurse is caught on camera saying, "It's not my work" and refusing to help. This video highlights serious questions about medical negligence, the Nigerian healthcare system, and the duty of care owed to patients in a moment of crisis.
Everybody keeps shouting the nurse is wicked where as that person a medical doctor and the main problem here is a system failure,in a country where things work emergency treatment is supposed to be free for the next 24hrs for the purpose of saving lives after which relatives can come forward to take responsibilities, although the doctor was supposed to show empathy by involving other team members to move the patient out of the vehicle for better assessment, obviously it's a failed triage system, paramedics are supposed to be on ground to lift patients and render assistance, doctors and nurses are not meant to be carrying patients, there are trained personnel for that, you don't just lift patients anyhow, it could be a spine injury which could further be aggravated, healthcare system in Nigeria needs overhauling.
Chelsea Is The First Club Ever To Lift All Five - The UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Conference League. 💙💙💙
ordinary Cup,Arsenal that won nothing has better prize money even more that Liverpool that won the league not to talk of Chelsea with just empty Cup,football is about making money.
Magnetic010: I really do not like commenting in topics like this because most times they make no single sense....That $2.49 is technically just 2 unit of their currency..can 2 units of nigerian currency buy you that anywhere in Nigeria or Canada?
you just spoke my mind ,the comparison is baseless.
what has the government done to make housing affordable too?the government housing project is not affordable for the common man,if you want the landlords to reduce their rents, reduce cost of living too,is it not what they buy they'll sell?government is hypocrite here,we know how much you tax civil servants in your state,as if that's not enough, you still went ahead to slash their salaries in this harsh economy, so a retiree who's a landlord, who depends on rent to survive, what do you expect him to do in this rising cost of living?I know those agents are covetous but the best way to combat them is for the government to embark on housing projects and make it affordable for the masses.
fergie001: Pastor Poju Oyemade, the Senior Pastor and Founder of The Covenant Nation (TCN), a Ministry headquartered in Lagos has in his sermon yesterday, which has now gone viral, claimed that Nigerian Doctors fleeing the country are ungrateful.
In Nigeria, a person will graduate as a medical doctor and spend N500,000 throughout to become a doctor. In America, you graduate from Johns Hopkins, you graduate from Harvard as a doctor, and you spend $2,000. Are you okay? Do you know how much money you spend?
Nigerians are ungrateful. They will go through everything, education. How much do they spend there? You see a Nigerian, if they tell him in Nigeria to do two jobs, he will curse your life out.
They will come to America, wake up in the morning, do first job, do second job, do Uber, and do, everything he’s doing. I said, if they put the fraction of this energy they put here in their country, they will have blown. - Oyemade
NARD responds
In as much as I don't support pastor Poju's view, I'll like to call a spade a spade,no doctor in Nigeria spends $21k as tuition fee even in private university, despite the fact that they spend 6years,nursing which is 5years is still more expensive than medicine because at housemanship level your pay is higher than other healthcare professionals (pharmacy, nursing, radiography etc.) and if you choose to start residency in Nigeria as a doctor which other healthcare professionals don't enjoy, you're being sponsored by the government through out and this still doesn't stop you from private practice, however everybody who renders services to humanity deserves a better standard of living.
