We are not bragging, you sef sabi say if na only Yoruba we fight that Civil war with, we will end your race.

There will be no federal allocation to help you here. The only region I respect as regard fight is the north but Yoruba? Noise makers
Even common one on one fight between an average Igbo and Yoruba for street, we know the outcome. Una no fit fight grin

I pity you Ibos. Some of you just have a death wish and you think surviving a war where you were almost wiped out means bravery.

Yorubas just don't have your time. A war between Ibos and Yorubas would be very one-sided with Ibos getting crushed.

Politics / Miyetti Allah List Oyo, Ogun And Lagos As Part Of Fulani Grazing Reserves by Yorexit: 10:39am On Apr 24, 2021
Chieftains of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, MACBAN, have alleged that due to the lack of education of the Fulani children, drug dealers and other merchants of crime used the Fulani to perpetuate crime and banditry in Nigeria. Speaking at the Headquarters of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, in Kaduna on Thursday during the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Forum, the National Secretary of MACBAN, Alhaji Baba Othman Ngelzarma said they have come to ACF which is now the father of Fulani in Nigeria ,as the prevailing situation in the country has turned them into orphans with no homes .

He said MACBAN came to meet the ACF to narrate the plight of 30 million Fulani in present day Nigeria. Chairman of the ACF, Chief Audu Ogbe assured MACBAN that they would look into their grievances and approach the relevant authorities. According to Ngelzerma, “the ignorance of the herders and pastoralists is being exploited by crime merchants and drug merchants in the country, who supply the herders drugs”. He alleged that these crime merchants collected the millions in ransom and only dropped peanuts for the foot soldiers. He therefore warned that unless the Fulani are put together in the Grazing Reserve, the country may not have peace. “In the next 10 to 20 years, if the problem is not resolved nobody can travel within and around Nigeria because the herders are scattered all over,” he averred.

According to him, they also came to seek for ACF’s support to put pressure on the Federal and State Governments to immediately accommodate all the Fulani herders and pastoralists in the 400 Grazing Reserves in the north to avert imminent catastrophe. MACBAN said that apart from the 400 Grazing Reserves in the North, there were others in the South, including Oyo, Ogun and Lagos States.

He said “If the facilities are made operational, this will put an end to the food crisis and security Challenges currently facing the nation.” “The only solution to Nigeria’s problem is to accommodate all the Fulani Herders and Pastorialists in the Grazing Reserves with the provision of modern facilities,” he said. ACF, he said ,must put heads together with MACBAN in ensuring an end to herders- farmers crisis and the general insecurity in Nigeria. He said the Government should bring all the fulani pastoralists together in the grazing reserves and provide them with educational, health and other social facilities. He said the level of insecurity in the country was linked to Kidnapping and armed banditry, which affected the economic life of the country. “The Government should see to settling the Pastorialists in the grazing reserves and avoid the present situation where they are scattered all over the country. This is the cause of the problem we have today”. “These Pastorialists should be provided the necessary educational, health and other facilities in the grazing reserves. When their status improves, this will boost their productive capacity and the productivity of the country. The operation of the grazing reserves should be carried out as urgent as possible”. “Lagos State alone consumes 6,000 cows on daily basis, while 250 lorries of cows enter into Southern part of the country on daily basis”. “But, because of the poor management of the Herders crisis, that is why we are where we are today. If we want an end to the problem, the 400 grazing reserves in the Northern States should be put to use and developed better. We have 3 in Oyo, Ogun and Lagos. If the grazing reserves are utilized, half the problems will be solved.” He said that the fulani pastoralists have lost over 4 million cows since the crisis started in the country, stressing that the problem is not a problem of the North alone, but that of the entire Nigeria.

Bros, that is you and the politicians problem.

I've never supported any politicians.
Except in a case of A Yoruba vs non Yoruba.

My own concern is How to make a Yoruba Land a better place.
And don't introduce politics to it.
You cursing one politician and not the rest, you're introducing politics.

I don’t care about politicians. Yoruba political class and their thugs are birds of a feather. The only reason I singled Tinubu out on this thread is because of his greed due to wanting to be Nigerian president in lieu of Yoruba interests.

Your ambition should never be bigger than the welfare of your people. Tinubu and his Fulani masters will feel the wrath soon.

There we go again. Please, understand the dynamic nature of the Yoruba people. We are not stupid people. We don't all sleep and face the same direction. We analyse issues from a constructive point of view and not a destructive one.

First, you mentioned politicians. They are constitutionally elected people who represent us. If they have failed like most Nigerians politicians, when their tenure ends, they come to us again. How you are able to compare constituted authority to someone who probably only has a blind followership among his people in Ibadan beats me. How on earth did you come up with that comparison?

I don't know how hard it is to consult, dialogue, meet with the people who matter, reach a consensus and strike. Are we barbarians here that one man would begin to boss over us all without a clear vision of what holds for us tomorrow?

If I ask Igboho what he thinks of Oduduwa Republic in the next 10 years if actualized, he'll probably say we wouldn't have Fulani on our lands anymore which the record, in fact, show to be wrong. Fulani are terrorising every West Africa country as I chat. Oduduwa Republic wouldn't be an exception. Let's assume for a minute that Fulani disappears completely from the surface of the planet after Oduduwa's actualization, what next again?

I have not seen anywhere where a sound argument is made for Oduduwa. It's always the cry of Fulani and Hausa ruling us. Meanwhile, we have our own leaders at state and local level completely useless and doing the worst.Yorubas are educated people. You cannot just wake up one morning and call yourself a freedom fighter without a concise vision of the promise land.

The SW is blessed with human resources from all part of Nigeria. That's why Lagos, neighbouring Ogun and some parts of Ibadan thrives so well. Take Nigeria away from SW and you'll be left with a ruins of it. We'll probably be worse that Benin Republic and if it gets better, probably not in our lifetime.

We're far better with restructuring than a secession. But even if secession would come, Igboho's method would definitely not bring it.

How would Yoruba nation be different from Nigeria where lawlessness and dictatorship thrives if we're laying the precedence with Igboho's dictatorial attitude. I'll rather remain in Nigeria.

If at all you’re Yoruba, you sound uneducated and like someone who’s unquestionably dumb due to Nigeria. Getting Yorubas out of Nigeria alone would fix 50% of the problems. Money earned from Lagos alone from multinationals and seaports can sustain a Yoruba country easily. Also, these Nigerian political class won’t thrive in a Yoruba country.

If you want to know how a Yoruba nation would be different from Nigeria; compare Singapore and Malaysia.

Igboho is just a foot soldier.

Their opinion doesn't matter.
Why do you think Tinubu is also careful not to Offend the Yoruba populace?

He can be bleeped up anytime.
Anyways that's politics and I have no business with them cos all politicians are the same you can't antagonize one and be linent with others.

Impossible

Well, he has already angered the Yoruba populace by staying silent while Yorubas were being raped, kidnapped and killed by Fulanis.

He angered Yoruba populace when Miyetti Allah called Fulani and Yoruba relationship as master/slave relationship with Yorubas being the slaves. The audacity of Fulani slaves in Oyo to call us slaves all because of one man’s greedy political ambition.

Tinubu and his boys shall face the wrath of Yoruba populace when the time is right for Fulani sins. The end is near for Fulanis. Most of them won’t live to tell their kids the story of what is going to happen to them.

Nah Tinubu Choose Alake also?
Nah him choose Olofa?
Nah him choose Osemawe?
Nah him choose Orangun of Ila?
Nah him choose Olubadan?

Leave politics to politicians

Tinubu was influential in picking Alake. That’s his friend.

Akarigbo and Emir of Iwo were handpicked by Tinubu.

Interestingly, the trio are the nuisance against the agitation.

Leave the other Obas alone.

Waa gbayi. Me sef I want Oduduwa Republic. But it must be by consensus and buy-in of the overwhelming majority. Those that don't yet agree with it should not be called names like 'slaves' or other epithets, but rather reasoned with, because if dem plenty enough, they can end up becoming spoilers and scatter the whole objective. Believe it or not. I can't claim to be more yoruba than them just because they don't yet see things from my vantage point. I also think the agitation needs more intellectuals that can sell and make it more attractive to more Yorubas.

Yorubas are very educated, intelligent, and dynamic people. You can't just expect to appeal to them via emotions alone. Some may fall for that, but many, if not most, are very rational, and would therefore ask thought-provoking and valid questions, because the project is meant to be about our collective future and therefore can't and should not be left in the hands of an incompetent lot.

It should not just be about being free from Fulani herdsmen and their atrocities. We need to start hearing more about how the new country would be structured, have debates about economic models, etc. We can't just say we will leave all that planning till when we get independence. The planning has to start NOW because those that fail to plan, plan to fail. South Sudan is a typical example. They spent so much time fighting for independence, only to turn against themselves after getting it because they just weren't prepared for the task and challenges of nation building. The best and brightest of the Yoruba race need to be persuaded and coopted into the project/agitation, so that we don't export Nigeria's problems into the new country.

This shows you’re the one posting based on emotions and haven’t taken time to follow the movement. All of you just see Igboho and the guys on YouTube. But they have started having Town Hall meetings in the US and a lot of Yoruba professionals, including ex-US military veterans are part of it. The movement is getting bigger by day. The same is also happening in the UK.

Igboho and his people are also doing theirs in Nigeria.

Lol, we're in civilization era why would you want them to go to war?

No just say this at their palace sad

Not saying they should go to war but they didn’t earn the crowns on their heads. If they had to earn the crowns, they won’t be bowing down to politicians the way they do.

The agitation is currently at its 10%

Is Seyi Makinde under Tinubu BTW there is no fake Oba in Yoruba land, everyone has equal right and you can't impose your believe on another person

That’s what you think. It’s going to shock you!

I don’t regard 19th century Yoruba Obas are true Obas. True Obas had real kingdoms and empires that lasted centuries and fought wars to protect them. These ones were only gifted crowns and it shows in how they act.

You should understand that he's refusal to meet them is his personal problem and opinion.

And by the wah, he is only speaking for himself not for the whole people.

Alake supporting One Nigeria isn't a sin because he has the right to support whatever he wants.
And don't also think the Governors are also in support of it.

By now, currently the agitation for a Yoruba nation is still at its 10%

No, it’s not his personal opinion, it’s the right of the Yoruba women who traveled to Nigeria to meet as his subjects. The fact that he kept them waiting for 4 hours and refused to meet them is a crime on its own.

Alake has the right to speak for himself and his family. He has no right to speak for Egba and Yoruba people. If he wants to speak for the people, he has to consult them before opening his mouth. There’s a reason why kings used to be dethroned by the people in Yorubaland for not following due process.

Exactly.
I am in support of Oduduwa, but Majority carry the vote.
Its not a must I impose my knowledge or agitation on everyone, No Yoruba man is an island of knowledge and One person cannot be the sole final decision maker for all Yoruba's.

Even in the Olden days.
There are checks and balances in the palace.
The King doesn't have the final authority on some matters except if it has been widely consulted and agreed upon by the Chiefs, Ogbonnis etc.

Even the Balogun cannot go to war without consultations and cannot go to war alone without approvals.

In All I'm in support for whatever is best for my People.
Everyone cannot think the same way, reason why we go for the one that will benefit us.

Thinking one way reasoning is bad for us.

Most of the people you listed have been consulted and they’re fully in support of Yoruba nation. Or why do you think Ooni changed course and has publicly declared support for Yoruba nation?

The only people left are politicians under Tinubu and his fake Obas.

You guys still don't get it. Any and every yoruba man is entitled not to even want to be part of Oduduwa Republic without getting threatened or intimidated by its proponents. That is the point some of you don't get. You are turning this into a 'us vs. them' thing, even amongst Yorubas, when in fact ALL yorubas are supposed to be treated as equal stakeholders in the agitation. And this will end up working against the whole agitation until you all accept that you don't have a monopoly of knowledge.

There are Yorubas in Benin Republic and Togo, and they are ok with where they are, even though some Yorubas here may feel they will be better off in one single country with other yorubas. But in the real world, we all can never think alike, that's the essence of freedom, democracy and independent thought.

The politicians you are vilifying for being bad, corrupt, and whatnot, they also once spoke like you are doing right now, condemning others before getting to the position themselves. And whether you believe it or not, in Oduduwa Republic there will still be corrupt politicians, there would also be opposition parties that will oppose the ruling party in power because it is human nature to disagree on positions and in principle, and no one deserves to be blackmailed for that.

Some clans may even later feel marginalized and decide they would be better off on their own, even after getting Oduduwa Republic. Yes, it can happen. Why? Again, because it is human nature. That desire for separation is what led to the creation of several states in every region in Nigeria today.

Or what if the Yorubas in Lagos decide to opt out of the Republic? Or if in a referendum some yoruba clans (or Muslims) decide not to be a part of the new country? Or you think that's farfetched? That can certainly happen if the hardline promoters continue acting like they alone know what's best for everyone else without taking other opinions into consideration.

Bottomline is, some of you guys should quit thinking your position is the only valid one. You can't force all Yorubas to think the same way through blackmail and threats, no matter how valid you may feel your position is. Kole ever work.

Your point is noted. But in a democratic setting, it’s always about what the majority want.

They’re doing the normal consultations but when a king refuses to meet them because he has taken money from a corrupt politician who’s greedy enough to think his ambition is greater than the welfare of the average Yoruba, what do you want them to do? They went there to meet him but he refused to meet them. Akarigbo is a coward.

No king in Yorubaland has the right to speak for the people without consulting the representatives of the people (chiefs) and that’s Alake’s crime for coming to support one Nigeria. Who gave him the power to speak for the people?

When the referendum is done, we shall know who the majority is. Yoruba nation is bigger than one man’s greedy political ambition. He has already turned Lagos to his private estate. What else does he want?
