AlabiKILLER2023:Despite the 2021 boldly on the subject, you still had to blame Tinubu He can’t be responsible for your lack of comprehension and understanding |
More competition coming as soon as more refineries are built There’s a 250,000 bpd refinery under construction in Ogun State and there are several others coming up Crude Oil production will also surpass 2m bpd for the first time in a long time next year |
People that only read headlines will start typing rubbish This clearly shows confidence in the economy and that the reforms (though painful) are working I keep saying 2025 will be a remarkable year for any Nigeria who produces anything of value and is ready to put in the work |
numericalguy:It’s their way of life |
rinzaugustine:At least they were freed. Kudos to Amotekun and that’s why we need a regional government with our regional police Any word about the reverend, the two families and house of assembly member kidnapped within your five plots last week? |
Abducted Anglican priest, Canon Olowolagba, who was kidnapped alongside his wife, and two children has regained freedom. The family was kidnapped on Sunday, December 22, along Ise Akoko-Iboropa road in Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State. Earlier, the Bishop of Akoko Anglican Diocese, Babajide Bada, who confirmed the incident on Saturday, said the abductors demanded N75m ransom. Bada said, “The unfortunate incident happened on Sunday between 4 pm and 5:30 pm. The man involved is Reverend Olowolagba. He was travelling from Ipesi with his wife, Mrs Olowolagba, and their 16-year-old daughter, Goodness Olowolagba, a 100-level student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba- Akoko, who came for a holiday, and a nine-year-old girl staying with them, identified as Idowu. “They drove from Ipesi through Isua Akoko; they were kidnapped between Isua and Ise-Akoko. We did not know about the incident until the following morning when their members discovered that they didn’t get to Ikaram, where they were going, as they were not also at home. “Since then, those who kidnapped them have been calling. They earlier called to ask for N10m, but when we gathered some money to give to them, they changed the amount to N75m. That is why the victims are still in captivity.” However, the family was released by their captors late Saturday. Though details of their release were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, the commander of state Amotekun Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, confirmed that the family had regained their freedom. “The pastor and family have been released,” Adeleye said. https://punchng.com/abducted-ondo-pastor-wife-kids-regain-freedom/?amp |

What’s wrong with paying lawyers of their standing their legal fees? I’m sure those fees are even discounted. You need to find out how much corporates pay to engage them |
Some people will not like this Any bad news about Nigeria is good news for them If you wish Nigeria bad, even when there is progress in the land, you will never have it good. Except there is no progress in the land o |
And guess where she will be returning to? Yorubaland Believe that farm story at your own peril God bless the leaders of Yorubaland for their foresight and for making Lagos a world class city since Tinubu started the repositioning in 1999 following decades of neglect Now she can board a metro, work in a Free Trade Zone that has a refinery, deep sea port and hundreds of other factories Now she can live in Eko Atlantic which was reclaimed from the sea because Jagaban conceived a better way of taming the Atlantic instead of pouring sand worth billions every year God bless Yorubaland |
beyep:More CNG conversion centers are being opened everyday CNG fueling stations have been getting patronage too And thankfully there has been no incident because I can tell that is what you’ve been craving to hear and there have been more petrol fires than CNG fires this year So what else do you want to know |
SocialJustice:This is what it looks like Tinubu has clearly proven his experience at Exxon Mobil is not in vain. He’s unarguably Nigeria’s best president ever
|
It’s not PBAT but Yorubas that will unanimously not allow the imposition of Sharia as binding judicial system in the SW states Everything the north is doing is political from the rejection of the tax bill, to the statement by the Niger president, to the imposition of sharia in the SW |

There’s no foreign investor that will not be interested in the economy especially when the president gave a brilliant response to the price control and question Tinubu is clearly Nigeria’s bravest and best president ever |
And I’m sure some of the UGM will be here on Nairaland blaming Tinubu for insecurity May thunder fire you all |
He does this virtually all the time and he doesn’t even live in that house anymore Tinubu has been the biggest giver since forever and it’s not just about food but scholarships, medical bills and business grants constitute part of his giving |
So when corporate taxes are to be cut down (which means companies will retain more profits) and taxes on the poor are to be removed, how does that translate to taxing the poor? |
VeryWickedBro:Oya come and collect it Stronghold ko, foothold ni The same Benin whose king is from Ile Ife? |
President Tinubu has promised to make a business out of cattle rearing and he is doing just that Already in Brazil he got an investment commitment of $2.5bn and two weeks ago the investors were in Ogun State I believe Oyo State also should partner with the Brazilians as it has enough arable land for ranching Ekiti has one of the best ranches I’ve seen in this country run by Promasidor at Ikun Diary Farm Oyo State also has a ranch run by Friesland (the pictures are below) These are ranches that should be expanded on

I don’t want to imagine what Lagos would be like if it was administered by some other people and not the caliber of people we have at the helm of affairs since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 1999 As it stands, Lagos has set a machinery in place to continue to prosper and despite the threats by those who sit at home every Monday to move their businesses, Lagos has even made more progress I came into the country early December and Lagos is far different from what it looked like last year. The streets are safe, parties everywhere, concerts everywhere and everyone is spending big Yes I know there are still challenges here are there and it’s everywhere in the world but I have to give it to the Yoruba spirit for building cities worth envying Since being in the country, I’ve visited Portharcourt, Calabar, Abuja, Kaduna, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Akure and Ado Ekiti. I must confess that in all these states, there has been tremendous progress and I mean tremendous progress God bless Yorubaland God bless Nigeria |

vanbonattel:Who said Ekiti people aren’t Yorubas? Yorubas are one and this is just a silly statement The only worry about folks from Ekiti and Ondo could be pounding of yam but it’s a fear very easy to allay |
Another unrealistic budget built on expectations from FAAC As at Q3 2024, the state had only collected 56% of its IGR target for the year |
DeLaRue:If you watched the presidential debate with the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, you wouldn’t have been surprised Obi and Atiku were miles behind him in terms of policy and clarity of thought. You can search for the videos on YouTube and even without watching, the comments alone should tell you who did well |
yarimo:The governors of the SE should budget for chairs and mattresses just in case they will extend the sit at home to two days following Ekpa’s arrest |
