kedeojo:So you are happy Wike now gets to keep 20% of Rivers Funds. |
Pinklada:Abi oo! We should be happy it didn’t get worse like some other places where state of emergency was never declared.
|
seunjungle1:It is definitely not a MUST! I don't think anyone in history has ever FORCED anyone to BUY a house. However, are you justifying OPEN smelly gutters in front of home worth BILLIONS? Is this your idea of progress? |
I was on Palace road recently and saw POO dropping out of a guys butt in the afternoon. Like where Oba Oniru lives ooo On one had, I did feel bad, cause I'm like I have a place to poo, but maybe this man doesn't. On the other hand, that was totally unacceptable. How am I seeing poo dropping from a mans butt into an open gutter in such a high brow area? Omo, I pray for progress for all of us sha, all parts of this Nigeria, whether together or split. We should not be having anything like open gutters in 2025. I understand Lagos is more developed than a whole bunch of other states, but it doesn't change the fact that people should be able to complain and get their complaints heard, especially when valid. We can't complain about an area and someone says, look at this other area. |
dettolgel:As in... Even me, as a Lagosian, if someone post bad road in Abia, Abuja, Sokoto... I will CONDEMN IT Condemn it and shame the leaders and it will bring me GREAT JOY, if/when those roads are then REPAIRED How can a people support rubbish like this? Oh my days So if they listen to this guy now, remove side traders, close all open gutters and ensure the roads are pothole free, won't that be a GOOD THING? Are they saying it's better the road is left a smelling waste? I can't men |
obailala:You see the problem abi? Like, they are saying, "Get out, we want out dirt like that, we want poo on the side of the road in open gutters, yes we love our dirt" I just can't men! I can't |
God heal your people please. Let them see good and call it good! “RANKED NO 1 in WOLRD RANKINGS”
|
See how quickly they have come to belittle MIT! You’d think these people are doing so, cause maybe they have someone from Harvard or Oxford or something. No no! Their history shows how they prefer Nepa certificates. What is wrong with some of you Nigerians?? The way you guys reject good things, good leadership… has to be studied. |
Ballmer:What you talking bout brah? |
BATified2023:Anyone with money can go to MIT? Wow! MIT? The way you guys diminish such great academic accomplishment ehn!
|
One again, it seems some Nigerians are ready to bury any sign of progress. Here we are, once again, diminishing the accomplishments of an MIT graduate. MIT, known as the top school in the world? Once again, the prefer Nepa certificates and people that graduated before their school was founded. What a people. |
Bandit Leader Allegedly Behind Killing Of Over 30 In Katsina Mosque Attack Attends Peace Meeting In Faskarihttps://saharareporters.com/2025/09/15/bandit-leader-allegedly-behind-killing-over-30-katsina-mosque-attack-attends-peace Make it make sense MNK that used microphone has been imprisoned for years. Each time they try to find a charge to stick to him, with no luck. How many people did MNK kill? ZERO! Now bandit leader that killed 30 is in peace talks? Don't forget how before they put "repentant" boko haram and militants inside the military.

By this time, even on a Saturday, there is no way that stretch of road would be this FREE as shown on the map To think someone wanted to bring all that suffering and problems back, uhhh, men Instead of us to be asking, how do we solve the next RED SECTION, cause the traffic to the right of the map shown below, should be so, but I'm sure MASSIVE POTHOLES AROUND LEKKI PHASE 1 GATE ARE PLAYING A MAJOR ROLE IN THIS BUILDUP.
|
Sorry for resurrecting this thread, stumbled upon it and read the comment that was advocating for the toll. Ask anyone, anyone that lived or drove on that axis about the trauma of that toll on OZUMBA. Ask them how many years it has been since they saw traffic at the toll plaza |
Simeonjoe1:Well maintained indeed. Thank you GOD, for you showed it to us and we lived through it to see it ourselves. Just do the math, collecting N200 per like 15 seconds. Then multiply by about 20 booths. How much are you making per min, per 10 mins, per 30 mins, per 1 hour... Still people living at Chevron will attest to the fact that there were POTHOLES GALLOR, the area was dark at night -except for a few nights, NO ORDER, nothing. This thing still triggers me whenever I think about it. Imagine if the road was BUTTERY SMOOTH, all lanes were PRISTINE, with lights that make it seem light DAYTIME... then when you paid the toll, a part of your soul would be at peace BUT IT WAS THE OPPOSITE The trauma even, of the 1 hour to try to pass the gate because of that massive traffic and how cars just packed liked sardines, danfoes bashing people, people cutting whatever lines still existed... the trauma It's just to collect and collect that government knew with the tolls. There is no builder in Nigeria, no trader, no Engineer, no architect, no laborer... THAT WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO EXECUTE PRISTINE MAINTAINANCE ON THAT ROAD GIVEN THE HUUUUUUUGE REVENUE THAT WAS BEING GENERATED PER SECOND. |
I thank the heroes of the ENDSARS PROTEST, may God bless them especially for all of us who had to endure such chaos, fraud and wickedness that lekki express toll gate brought. |
Simeonjoe1:Some Nigerians will literally fight to be oppressed. Then, people were paying N250. Imagine what the payment would have been like now, with Tinubu inflation; like N1,000 per pass. Just look at how the CONSTANT TRAFFIC on that tollgate axis PERMANENTLY VANISHED. Tollgate that would cause traffic from the gate alllllllllllllllll the way to 1004. Like you will spend 40mins just to CROSS A TOLLGATE Now without that WIKED GATE, you cross in like 50 SECONDS THEN EVEN WITH ALL THE REVENUE GENERATED PER MIN, WITH UP TO 20 BOOTHS, YOU STILL COULDN'T FIX POTHOLES? YOU COULDN'T PAINT ORDINARY WHITE LANES? YOU COULDN'T LIGHT UP THE ROAD AT NIGHT? ALL THESE THINGS ARE PRESENT ON A BEAUTIFUL FREE ROAD CALLED THE THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE. NO POTHOLES, LANES ARE PRESTINE, LIGHTS ARE PRESTINE AS WELL AT NIGHT, YET IT IS TOLL FREE BUT YOU AT LEKKI WIKED GATE, ARE PRINTING MONEY, YET YOU CAN'T GIVE DRIVERS THESE THINGS? YOU WOULD THINK WITH ALL THAT MONEY PRINTING PER SECOND, YOU WOULD PUT 3RD MAINLAND BRIDGE TO SHAME, CHAI Then you see Nigerians like this guy, that were advocating for a return to toll. Omo men |
Pompoma:I wonder who would want to associate with him in real life. |
helinues:Senate affairs indeed. No be Nigerian affair na That is why they can buy 160 million SUV each for themselves, while they tell you 70k monthly is too much for you Senate affairs indeed. |
I never knew a day would come where this guy would become so irritating to me, like mucus |
phorget:Changed the anthem in like 24 hours ooo, bruv They keep acting like systems can't be changed. That's why they hate to hear anything BVAS or IREV |
Reno that prefers a Drug Lord to someone that went to church

Heya Meanwhile see Soyinkas APC people on Nairaland saying that hospitals should not have beds, and if you expose such hospitals without beds, you deserve to be arrested. The carry their wickedness on their chest. Softmirror:
|
Why would anyone want to come to Naija when you have citizens arguing that hospital patients should be without beds. And those that expose hospitals without beds should be arrested. The wickedness in Naija is seen everywhere, even with the way they drive. Softmirror:
|
To think that having beds in hospitals annoys this APC supporter. |
The journalist that took this picture below was jailed for exposing the bad state of the hospital. A well known APC supporter blamed the journalist for the report and had this to say: - Softmirror:
|
Ozumba has holes that are more than 20 inches deep. This is terrible for an "Expressway", cause it means you'd be driving relatively fast >60km/h and all of a sudden you are faced with such deep holes and limited opportunities to escape the holes. What is going on? As I said before, the money that Sanwolu used to go and wave goodbye to Tinubu could be used for so many things, and in this case, it could be used to buy like 10 tippers of sand/gravel and asphalt. Couple with the reckless way people drive and having no lane markings on the road, every trip on that axis seems extremely dangerous as fast, unruly drivers approach such deep holes |
Still had some value. So I guess APC is telling us that these currency notes are useless notes from a "Fake era" I guess people will tell their kids that these currency notes are worthless now because the were from a time (just about 10 years ago), where Nigerians lived very fake lives.

Also remember Buhari Nairalanders saying they want to teach others, lessons. Always so wicked during elections, selecting the most wicked people to "teach others, lessons", not to better their lives and the lives of their countrymen. |
Meanwhile, people like GRV that went to M.I.T, the TOP ENGINEERING SCHOOL in the world, were dismissed, simply by calling him "CHINEDU" Please no one should tell us about whites not being a superior race, no one. Is M.I.T your mate? Then to add insult to injury, they select the ones that don't even have WAEC. M.I.T? Just goes to show the disdain some people have for anything good. Other advanced societies would see M.I.T and get excited, but here the only policy to counter the MIT grad was "CHINEDU" |
Who remembers this guy celebrating Buharis second win by entering the smelly gutters? "4 + 4" Was this guy concerned about FX rates? Inflation data? Tourism? 911 nationwide police number? .... Makes you want to weep right? When you start to realize just how far we are as a race and people. Then the nairaland warriors then calling everyone "WAILING WAILERS"
