Most Nigerians know nothing about macro-economics reforms to enhance their long term socio-economic prospect. All they know is that garri and transport fee cost more. They aren't aware life for them, could be about so much more as others are enjoying worldwide, and as Tinubu wishes to deliver for them.

To them the leader who has caused rise in garri price and transport cost is strictly a failure. Yet how can that be true also for me, you and all properly educated and exposed Nigerians who know how badly off Nigerians are in direct comparison to their peers globally and how/why the reforms it will take to close the massive gap must bring initial hardship?

The Lagos state government should stop messing around and build proper underground drainage systems.

No modern city does this “clean up day” nonsense because the infrastructure negates the need for that.

If you build roads with covered drainage and sidewalks, there would be no need to force residents out of their homes to dig rubbish from your filthy open gutters.

There’s no need for an “environmental day” in Abuja, because the infrastructure is well built, and there are no filthy open gutters to “clean up”.
