From the two highlighted scriptures we found out that Jesus is implying that John the baptist is the long awaited Elijah. Malachi 4:5

First of all the Jews knew very well that Elijah was not a Jew rather he was a Samaritan and secondly he was taken up to heaven by chariots of fire. So if Elijah should return he could have either been born in Samaria or descended from heaven just as he was taken but instead he was born among the Jews.

So if we want to explain using the scriptures to help a modern day Judaist what evidence does Jesus of Nazareth and his disciples have in the Old Testament to ascertain that John the baptist was truly Elijah?

Do you now see that Jesus Christ is the Lord in this scripture. He sent Elijah aka John the Baptist before His coming. Malachi 4:5 said that Yahweh will send Elijah.

I have seen your resent post about John the Baptist... Who sent John the Baptist? Was John the Baptist sent by God? Malachi 3:1 is crystal clear that the person coming after John the Baptist is the Lord himself. Their God whom they seek and worship was the one coming.

This nature is not the same as Divine Nature that Christ shares with the Father. No. In Heb 1, Christ is said to be the exact facsimile of God's Being - Hypostasis. And we have also seen that Christ is worshipped as God is. Also remember that in the beginning the word WAS, not the Word "is". So Christ has been there before the beginning. John 1:3 says all things were created by Christ. Not even one thing came into being without him. So he is not created and has no beginning and end. Compare 1tim 6.

So the Divine Nature we are talking about here is the uncreated Nature of God. Phil 2 says Christ was in God's form before coming to earth. Only God possess this nature, so if Jesus possess it, he is God as such is worshipped. So it is no surprise that we see Jesus occupy what naturally should be Jehovah's and even to be worshipped. You don't dare give that to a mere creature. Check my Part 4 of this series.

The divine nature that 2Pet has in mind is that of Christ's glory. Christ was flesh when on earth and later got a glorified. That is what the anointed will get. They won't get what Christ is before his humanity. It's not even possible. See how the Insight comments on it:

It was so bad. Gambling for more than 12 years is not a joke. I lost my education, money, relationship, friends, reputation, dignity, trust, respect, health, etc. as a result of this addiction.

I tried everything to be free, up to no avail, it was a serious battle. Repenting today and going back tomorrow. Once my money finish, I will vow never to go back to gambling again, I will even swear that God should take my life if I ever go back to gambling only to relapse as soon as money enters into my hands.

I thank God that I am finally free from this addiction. I stopped gambling finally on the month of February this year. Ever since then, I have not gambled. seven months have passed and still counting, I have not relapsed back, the urge to go back is not even there.

Let me tell you the truth, you cannot stop gambling by your own efforts and determination only. You need a supernatural power that only comes from Jesus to break that yoke from your life. Not only gambling but from other addictions you may be going through.

Jesus will not only break the yoke, He will sustain you so that you will not go back to this very terrible addiction again.

We can now drink and enjoy ourselves in the ocean of his glory and presence. We are so blessed to be born after the birth and death of Jesus Christ the Son of God. The era where the presence of God is giving to us on a platter of gold. The era where the presence of God has been cooked and served hot on our plates. Brethren in the love of God, our true home is His presence. I know I have not even scratched the surface of His presence. I know I have not even unlocked the full benefits of His presence. I know there is still so many things I am yet to know about His presence. But I am ready to explore and unlock every door in his presence. I am ready to drink and drink and drink until I explode😁😁😁. Only Adam and Eve, the first man was familiar with this glorious feeling in it fullness. The old testament folks experienced a little of it. But thank God, it is available to us now in Christ Jesus. Brethren, taste and see that the Lord is sweeter than honey and His presence is better than wine.

The most important voice is the voice within. The voice within supersedes the voice outside. Faith is the voice within. We believe through the voice within. What you always say within is what you believe. Forget about what your outer lips say. The real voice is the voice within and that is where God is focusing. So many of us are not coordinated within. We say different things at the same time within us. While some of us are just careless and ignorant with what goes on within. This woman right here is the simplicity of Faith. She continually says to herself within, "if I could touch the helm of his garment, I know I will be healed." Indeed she did got her healing because she believed with the voice within.

Satan wants you to be confused and disconnected within, only then will he steal from you what belongs to you in God in Christ Jesus. What you say within is what truly matters. God looks at your within voice, and not what comes out of your physical lips. You communicate with man with your lips, while you communicate with God with the voice within. This beautiful woman in our opening verse extracted the power of God out of Jesus through the voice within. So many people have been touching Jesus without anything happening. So many have been touching Him with an uncoordinated voice within but when this woman came along and touch the glorious One with a coordinated voice, something happened. She was healed and made whole. Today and right now, you can still touch Jesus by saying to yourself within continuously that, "you are forgiven in Christ Jesus and made right with God."

We all have the voice within. Some have mastered the art to use it and harness it for good, while some for evil. Many of us have allowed earthly things and worldly music to corrode and distort the voice within. Do you want to see great power and might?
