Most people in saudi are now “playing” football and not “working” football, they don’t have to play so many tournaments and get worn out.

Why do you think it is huge? The clubs make a lot of profit from this players. Millions of fans pay to watch them heavily. Buy clubs jersey and sponsorship deals. So the players deserve this huge pay but Saudi are paying this guys from state resources.
