Hi siraweezy, I just checked the tracking on Usps website and it has been processed for delivery since 5th of this month, I checked on nipost website but found nothing yet, I'll advise you to go to your nearest post office for enquiry, if it hasn't arrived, just keep updating it on nipost and Usps website for about 10 more days it have arrived by then tho.

And the seller posted it via Usps on 28 of august, I've never use such poster service before, so I don't even understand how it works. He gave me this tracking number LK059599451US. Reading pple's comment means I'm on a long thing cuz it start with "L". And the delivery address is in ikoyi. Is there anything I can do.. Or to just forget about it. Pls advice. Thanks

petluv234: I have a problem with my package from USA through usps. the tracking number is LK***********us. On usps site it has been at Jamaica NY since 29th of august but when I track it on trackitonline.ru it shows that the package got to airport nigeria on 4th of September. The convincing aspect is that it still at Jamaica NY on usps site. I don't which one to believe. Can someone help me out

Usps website doesn't update on time, I've received may items that get updated on nipost website and takes up to 48 hours before it reflects on Usps website. Also I received an item lately which I got a call from a man in my local post office that it has arrived, whereas up to this moment it still showing processing through ics texas on Usps website. Its up to a moonth now and nothing is changing on Usps nor nipost website, yet I have received my item already. Luckily for me I'm close to the manager at the post office, my item for just enter voice mail like that.

yeah i think so. but they might charge a small fee. very minimal tho. service charge for big parcels.

I'm not sure nipost is responsible for dhl packages, i assume dhl packages should be collected in dhl office and not nipost. Not sure tho cuz I've never had anything through dhl before.

Omo those people(expecially women at the counter where to collect the item) there own pass police ppl, dem they request for money before package been handed over... Person wey never use nipost before seriously its not adviceable. Nawa for most of there staffs

lol yeah they request for money. Actually, ordinary post is supposed to be collected free of charge but these people normally request for some money. However, parcels from usps and some sorts with higher quality and weight would require you to pay before collecting your item as that is custom's fee which is also applicable everywhere in the world. Only normal post is supposed to be free of charge. Which means anytime you're expecting items like laptops or others from usps, be ready to pay about 5k above. Cheers

I think it's supposed to spend about a month in the post office before they return it back, but trust me i no sure say naija post office go return am back oh, someone might just sign on the item as collected and collect it in your name if it's a valuable item. lol

Your item is at the post office, goto your nearest post office and collect your item before they e enter voicemail lol.

If your item is being delayed by custom, you would see it on nipost website with something like "Send item to customs" and if it takes days without changing from that status then it means custom hasn't released the item yet. But since it's not showing anything then i think your item hasn't even gotten here. However, there are some rare cases whereby your item has even gotten to the destination but probably skipped some checking points so failed to update (That hasn't happened to me before tho but I've heard it happens sometimes). So my advise is to contact your local post office and ask if your item has arrived. What is it still saying on the normal tracking?

Yeah you're welcome, just give it more time. Some things might be delaying the item, wait for about a week more it should have entered nigeria by then.

I used USPS to order a package from the states. Its been a week overdue now but am yet to received it.
I have gone to Nipost office, Ikoyi and was told no such package received yet with the tracking number I produced.
Also, I contacted the sender who replied that the package left US soil since 20th of June. He suggested maybe it is stuck with custom and I should visit their office but thing is I don't even know where or how to contact custom.
Here is what the Tracking Numbers look like- LN10*****28US.
Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

If the item has arrived nigeria, it will show it's progress there, if you enter the tracking and nothing is shown then it means the item hasn't arrived nigeria. I also ordered a laptop and a studio headphone on the 30th of june from US with USPS international percel and it's in exchange office now, it should get to my post office in agege by tomorrow so hopefully by tomorrow I'll get my items. So typically those items took about 15 days to get here. I also normally buy stuffs from singapore and uk and i think tracking through nipost site will let you know the exact spot where your item is once it has arrived in Nigeria. Hope I've been of little help
