Stop trying to blame the innocent. Buhari made Tinubu the president. Folks try to absolve Buhari, but he was the one who appointed the corrupt head of the inec . He supervised the elections and allowed all the irregularities to go unchecked. There was no way Buhari was not aware of all that Tinubu did to rig the elections. He did nothing to stop Tinubu, just as Jonathan did nothing to stop him. If the election was not rigged, Tinubu wouldn't have won. So how is that Obis fault?

You may also want to thank Atiku whose perennial presidential aspirations have cost the SE a lot. He's arrogant disrespect of the rotational ideology between the different regions is solely responsible for the lack of a common consensus around the quest for a president from the east.

You should stop the habit of making the SE and their politicians the scape goat. Peter Obi had the right to contest. It was supposed to be the turn of the east, but Tinubu and Atiku jumped into the fray.. Easterners are not going to wait for century to produce the president of the country. All you have stated was to be decided in a primary election not general election. If Peter Obi won the PDP primary which he would have likely done based on all you stated, He will still get the over 12 million votes. The problem here was evading the primary

There was no way Tinubu could have won the 2023 presidential election without the assistance that Peter Obi indirectly rendered him.

The PDP had a solid structure in the South South and southeast. APC had a solid structure in the north but despite that, their candidate's popularity was 40% when compared to the popularity of the PDP's candidate which is about 60%.

The structure that PDP had in the south excluding the southwest was about 70% solid compared to that of APC which was about 30%.

If the PDP were able to put their house together just like APC did, they would have secured 60% of the votes.
35% from the north where Atiku is more popular and 25% from the south where PDP had a solid structure.

Tinubu was not popular in the entire south south and southeast states. As a matter of fact, people from southeast in particular didn't know much about Tinubu apart from him being a former governor of Lagos.

In the north, The people would vote for APC not him because he wasn't so popular either but his party already grabbed the entire region.

He also realized that a new Nigeria is possible after contesting as vice president in 2019. Then he went further to involve the church which he claims must take back their country. All those gimmicks quickly split the PDP structure in the south.

With the PDP loosing 90% of their structure in the south, Christians in the north central also joined the new trend of religious politics.

This made Tinubu who would later gather approximately 8 million votes defeat PDP that would have secured above 12 million votes.

Following the suspension of the Bishop of Awka Diocese and the recent dragging of Apostle Arome Osayi, I decided to go back to the prophecy of Dr Olukoya who is MFM's general overseer.

That reminds me of the way WAEC and some other exams are also conducted in Nigeria especially in private schools.

Once you are approaching your final exams, textbooks become compulsory. You must show the textbooks and past questions of all the exams that you will write.

There is compulsory extra lessons. Once you approach the final exam date, school makes extra lessons compulsory for you.
You will spend more days and hours in the school unlike the normal junior secondary students.

Fees double. The fees you will pay in your final year becomes double of the regular school fees. This time around, you will pay for so many things including mock exam fees.

You will write mock exams on all the subjects that you have chosen to write in WAEC. Your teachers will use external exam standards not your regular class work.

If it's a boarding school, your holidays will be shifted. You will spend some weeks still attending classes after school regular breaks.

Compulsory afternoon and night preps. You will be giving access to the library at any period of time including on Sundays.

Guess what happens after all these tedious preparations, the WAEC paper leaks a night to the exam.
In some cases, the private school brings in the subject teacher to assist the students during the exams.
The worst of them all is that some schools pay off the external supervisors and write answers directly on the board for their students to copy.

The problem with us is that we hardly learn from history therefore history keeps repeating itself.

During Buhari's tenure, there was this open display of hypocrisy by the north. It's was the 'sai Baba' chant all the way whether Buhari did wrong or not.

They sang his praises until he left office. The use of brutal force against protesters were appreciated by the north. The killing of Biafra agitators was something to celebrate in the north.

Even though that they northerners weren't exempted from Buhari's incompetence, they were all ready to perish as far as he remains in power.
There was no single comment against killing and rapping of women in their farms.

Fast forward to today, the northerners are now the ones forming the Hausa Zalla movements and championing the Tinubu must go campaign and no other region in Nigeria is paying attention to whatever they are doing.

When they complain against insecurity, they are asked why they didn't complain under Buhari. If they attempt to protest, they are asked why they didn't protest under Buhari.

It got so bad that close to 500 people were kidnapped in Niger state and the media reduced the figure to 15 persons.
Nobody cares about the happenings in the north any longer and news about them hardly go viral. Other tribes have left them to their fate and none is going to give a single vote to their candidate come 2027.

In certain cultures especially the Igbo culture, you have committed an abomination if you sleep with someone who has connection with your mother or grandmother's lineage.

In my community, you cannot marry from a certain neighbouring community from same town because of ancestral ties.

In some cases you can meet someone from your mother's lineage without knowing except when older people who know your family's history tell you.

I didn't talk about the father's side because all your relations from his side will all be natives of your community.

What will finally end Atiku's long career in politics is the Fulani discrimination currently creeping into the south. People felt that Buhari's government empowered Fulani invaders from across the Sahel.

The south is not like the north that can endure killings and kidnapping. A single school attack in the south almost set the entire country on fire. Such attacks have occured more than 10 times in the north and there was no outrage. So a candidate from the tribe suspected to be at the fore front of these attacks will be highly resisted in the south.

A bunch of plantain sells for nothing less than 5k and I have around 150 suckers and hopeful to expand to 300 suckers by next year. I am aiming at 1000 suckers max. Exploring agriculture gives me something to hold onto. I don't need validation from friends and family. I don't even need any association that is not based on selling my products. I don't want to impress anyone or have anyone to impress me. I don't need to marry or have children either. All I need is to have daily data subscriptions so I can watch documentaries on YouTube. Try and follow a content creator who post daily. There is this excitement that comes when you have a favourite and expect them to drop videos. I follow 'D English Alhaji' and don't miss out on any of his updates. This also has helped me to be hopeful and eager for something to keep me alive daily. Sharing your story is good as I also share mine but Nigerians have nothing to offer you except mockery. I don't blame them though because what you haven't experienced will sound like hoax to you.

From my observation, when it comes to development, the villages in the East are a bit developed with beautiful houses compared to the cities.

The issue is, there are no business activities in the villages, people mostly build the big houses and visit once in a while which is not contributing to the economy of the community

Eventually the young ones will need to go outside their community to make money and when old ones get too old, the community getting empty is inevitable

I visited my village and 80% of the buildings and structures there weren't in existence as of 2007. As a matter of fact, there were bushes covering almost both sides of the entire road that led to my family house.

Our people hardly farm so almost everywhere was covered with bushes and there were scanty buildings.

Fast forward to 2015, almost every family started clearing their abandoned lands and erecting structures. The last I visited in September this year, everywhere have been covered. I couldn't find a single empty land along the road to my family house.

The most shocking part was to see that a plot of land was sold for 15 million. This was something that cost less than 200k as of 2007.

But my concern is not about the buildings and the current cost of land. What I tried to understand was why all those places were left unoccupied despite the fact that millions of people have existed in my community before my own generation.

With the rate at which they married and their polygamy culture, my grandfather wouldn't have more than 5 plots of lands all to himself.

While I was brainstorming to know why I found lots of empty properties while growing up, I remembered stories about the civil war and how Onitsha and it's environs were bombed to dust with millions of our people killed.

So what it means is that my grandfather and the few survivors started building from scratch and that was why the entire places were scanty.

It still drew my attention to the fact that there are places currently like that in 2026 as a result of Fulani bandits invasion and BokoHaram attacks. I saw a video showing an empty community in Kwara state and from experience and how scanty my community was, I understand the impact of conflicts.

Despite the fact that our community is booming now, my prayer is that there will never be a time when millions of people will disappear abandoning their houses only for a few to return and start life afresh. Let our kids not have similar experiences like us who spent most of our holidays playing inside the bushes instead of amusement parks and beautiful towers
