PoliticsNigeria Could Have Over 90 Million Bandits by youngEmelex(op): 10:01pm On May 29
US just released a report that Nigeria has around 30,000 bandits terrorizing remote areas and villages but in the real sense, the bandits in Nigeria are over 90 million. The truth here is that most bandits in Nigeria have no access to firearms but they are occupying government and public offices diverting millions mapped out for infrastructure and the development of their communities. What about Nigerians selling fake drugs and drinks? These are all unarmed bandits. We still have thousands of terrorists sympathizers even here on nairaland supporting the killings of people by Islamic mob in the name of blasphemy. What about APC supporters on every comment section on nairaland throwing tantrums? This is a party that has been declared a terrorist unit in Canada for making elections violent and snatching ballot boxes yet their supporters are all over nairaland. In summary, the bandits in Nigeria are over 90 million and will do worse than the armed bandits in the bushes if they lay their hands on firearms
PoliticsWhy Tinubu Will Return In 2027 by youngEmelex(op): 12:27am On May 27
Tinubu will return in 2027 because of the following reason:
1. Opposition parties are in disarray: Never in the history of Nigeria have we had these terrible opposition. When APC was opposition to Jonathan, they united under one umbrella and produced Buhari who threatened a bloody revolution if the election was to be rigged. What we have today as opposition are bunch of selfish and desperate old men who Tinubu will definitely retire from politics come 2027
2. The masses have not changed: Vote buying was heavily recorded in 2023 and from what we saw during party primaries, the masses are ever ready to sell their votes.
3. Tribalism and religious sentiments: From all indications even from the comments we see here on nairaland, people are solidly behind their tribesman even if bandits will kill all their villagers. Muslim clerics are all over the place preaching the need for a Sharia law and why they must support a president who will protect their blasphemy laws and not yield to pressure from Donald Trump.
4. Control of state apparatus: INEC chairman, IGP, CDS etc will all please who appointed them and do their biddings
PoliticsBandit Attack Escalates Different Conspiracy Theories by youngEmelex(op): 2:25pm On May 22
I have been reading a lot of reports on social media handles trying to claim that the recent bandit attack in Oyo state is a sign that even the south has been surrounded by jihadists. Now this is an isolated case of criminality not Jihad. Niger Delta youths were once heavily involved in this kidnapping for ransome business before they were granted amnesty by late President Yaradua. Imo state governor granted such amnesty last year too. It's obvious some Fulani militias have spread across the states of Nigeria with the same format of kidnapping for ransome used in the Niger Delta. Amnesty and dialogue can also work in this case as proposed by Gumi or each state should have their own police or equip their communities to tackle these crimes.
PoliticsIs Nnamdi Kanu's Prediction About To Happen? by youngEmelex(op): 1:59am On May 19
Nnamdi Kanu started his radio program since 2014 but he didn't become popular until after Buhari took over in 2015. He actually gained much public attention in 2016. His broadcast and public speeches gave him more fame than the Biafra agitation. Igbos actually didn't pay much attention to him when he first started because the truth is that majority of the Igbos had move on and forgotten about the Biafran agitation. What later triggered outrage among the Igbos was the revelations the young man was making. He predicted that their is a Fulanization agenda and that the whole of Southeast will be invaded by Fulani militia if they failed to form a resistance movement. These predictions caused Igbos in diaspora who were afraid to loose their homes to start donating heavily for the creation of what they later called ESN. Now, let's look at these predictions to see if Nnamdi Kanu was actually deceiving the Igbos just to gain public attention and sympathy. Firstly, If there is a Fulanization and Islamization agenda, the target will be Abuja not Southeast. Once Abuja is conquered and Asorock taken over by the jihadists, the rest of Nigeria will fall including the Southeast therefore, there is no need for the jihadists to invade the southeast when the country's capital, Abuja is still intact. They will invade Abuja first and conquer it then declare islamization from there. If any invasion is to happen, Jihadists will be seen marching towards the federal capital as was seen in Mali last month. What we have in the bushes are criminal Fulani elements who destroy farms and kidnap people for ransome. The solution to this is to ban open grazing and establish state police. Nothing else can solve these problems if the solutions I mentioned here are not implemented. This has nothing to do with Fulanization, Islamization or even Christian genocide. The predictions of Nnamdi are all false
PoliticsDonald Trump Intervention Might Worsen Insecurity by youngEmelex(op): 5:27am On May 18
From the records so far, terrorists in Nigeria only operate as bandits. They hide in the forest and only attack border communities and remote areas where they can easily flee on sighting security agencies. The purpose of these attacks are mostly cattle rustling, kidnapping for ransome and looting of village markets especially food stocks. These groups might be affiliated to Al-Qaeda or BokoHaram but they don't operate as jihadi groups instead they operate as criminals, raiding communities and kidnapping travellers. Meanwhile, Jihadists in other countries of the world attack state institutions as they push for state capture. No town, city or state capital in Nigeria has ever come under attack by any of these groups. These attacks can escalate if their safe heavens in the forest comes under security operations especially with Donald Trump's intervention. What will happen is that they will start carrying out revenge on the villagers while some will start escaping from the bushes and forcing their way into towns. It is like throwing stones at a beehive thereby forcing the bees to scatter all over the area.
PoliticsRe: Jihadists Not Responsible For Christian Genocide In Nigeria by youngEmelex(op): 9:55pm On May 12
Tenses:
It's the Obidients that are responsible.

Continue with the self deceit.
Fulani Herders are mostly likely responsible but it's about land grabbing and open grazing not Christian genocide or jihad
PoliticsJihadists Not Responsible For Christian Genocide In Nigeria by youngEmelex(op): 5:36pm On May 12
Christians are actually killed across the north central states especially in Benue and Plateau but that doesn't mean the aim of the killings is jihad. Communities under attack are mostly remote villages affected by open grazing and cattle rearing. Jihad is a process of Islamic state capture also aimed at imposing Sharia laws on the state. What happened in Mali recently can be termed a jihad because the jihadists were seen marching towards the state capital where they dislodged the minister of defense. Such scenes have never been recorded in Nigeria as bandits only hide in the bushes and not making any move towards any state capital. So it safe to say that there is no jihad in Nigeria except threats from groups like BokoHaram

PoliticsCity Boys Nonchalant Movement by youngEmelex(op): 1:12pm On Mar 11
The reason why we have this city boys movement is because terrorists are only operating in the villages for now. The city boys don't care about the plight of villagers instead they are already campaigning for 2027. What if the table turns and the terrorists start targeting cities? The city boys should instead of campaigning mobilize forces to fight against terrorism now that is hasn't gotten to them. They should procure drones and missiles to dislodge this terrorists occupying villages now that there is time. Remember that BokoHaram were only in Borno bushes but now they are in parts of Kwara and Niger. Those states were nonchalant until it got to them. Bandits are almost in all middle belt states currently. A stitch in time saves nine

CrimeRe: Commanding Officer Shot Dead As Boko Haram Hits Another Military Base In Borno by youngEmelex: 3:29pm On Mar 09
YoungLionken:
Na wa o! These terrorists just dey chop Nigerian senior military officers, exactly just as Israel dey do Iran. Just last year to this year so far, these Islamic terrorists have terminated top Nigerian military coordinators. Attacking/chasing/killing soldiers right from their (our)bases, and each base formation contains at least a hundred soldiers in it. No wonder these terror murdas are always seen in our military outfit..

Nigerians made their terrible mistake in modern history voting the APCheat into power...
how sure are you about the number?
PoliticsBokoharam Will Force 'state Of Emergency' Declaration In Nigeria by youngEmelex(op): 1:12pm On Mar 09
It is no longer news that BokoHaram now attacks military bases. They have attacked 6 military bases in 2 months killing a good number of Nigerian soldiers so far. This number is 10 times higher than the number of soldiers both US and Israel have lost in Iran war. Soldiers including brigadier general and lieutenants lost in ambush and attacks from bandits are over 50 in just 2026 alone. If a state of emergency is not declared by the military themselves, it will only get worse because these terrorists are fighting asymmetrically not conventionally. In asymmetric warfare, the enemies don't give you locations and targets to strike.

They already do. In fact the top soldiers are largely Iswap terrorists in uniforms. Even the executive.

CrimeISWAP Terrorists May Outnumber Nigerian Soldiers by youngEmelex(op): 1:14pm On Feb 26
If nothing is done to curtail ISWAP now that they are few, a time will come when they will outnumber Nigerian soldiers by 3 to 1. When such happens, Afghanistan experience won't be far from Nigeria. The military should stop playing politics, avoid corruption then focus on security and intelligence before it is too late
CrimeAttacks On Military Formation By ISWAP by youngEmelex(op): 8:19am On Feb 13
Recently, ISWAP has been focusing on military formations. This is something that we all should be worried about because an attack on a country's military is to undermine the sovereignity of that country. ISWAP is a west African version of Isis and they are focused on Islamization.
CrimeBandits Will Outnumber Soldiers By 2030 by youngEmelex(op): 7:13pm On Dec 19, 2025
The rate at which Banditry is growing in the north, they will outnumber Nigerian soldiers at the ration of 20:1 ie 20 bandits to 1 Nigerian soldier. Nigeria is heading the Afghanistan way if this government refuses to fund state police before 2030. Criminality in Nigeria is growing at an exponential rate and they are recruiting daily
PoliticsHow Come Reno Omokri Posts Still Make It To Front Page? by youngEmelex(op): 4:59am On Nov 22, 2025
The problem with black people is their inability to make use of their senses at the right moment. I am so shocked that the disgraced Reno Omokri still has his post making it to front page on nairaland. Despite all the evidences on ground to show that this is a double faced figure, yet some people for which ever reasons best known to them still push his narratives for us to read here. A man whose entire post and comments are opposite of what he said just few years ago is still celebrated in Nigeria? This has shown the species of people living in this country and why this country will remain backwards even in the next 1000 years

I dont think , even Tinubu under the threat of exile can do anything as Nigerian security forces are deeply compromised .

He can change top generals and read riot act and thats where it will end . Years of poor Professionalism and Political manipulation has completely eroded Nigerian Armed forces along with un wanted production of kids , where parents cannot even afford to feed their children is what is leading to it. as these kids join terrorists , as they get food to feed their belly .

Nigerian problems are long term structural issues , which any politician and its people have a clue except shouting , we are Giant of Africa only in terms of uselessness .
Great point, bro
PoliticsThe Unity Of Nigerian Terrorists Can Be Likened To The Unity Of Jungle Lions by youngEmelex(op): 10:15pm On Nov 03, 2025
While the sponsors of terrorism are highly united and speaking with one voice, the foolish victims are highly divided. This is not strange as it's the cause of nature. When you watch wild life series, you will see how united the flesh devouring beasts like lions are when they launch a hunt while the prey even those with defensive horns scatter. They can never unite against their killers because if they do, the lion will starve to death. It's just nature at play here. Humans are also animals just a bit higher. The terrorists can be likened to the lions while the people killed are the prey who lack wisdom. The terrorists are blood sucking beasts sent from the pit of hell hence their wisdom and unity unmatches their prey who are dumb and foolish by nature. All the comments I have read so far from the sponsors of this terrorism since the threatened American forces invasion show how strong their unity is while some of the so called Christians destined as food for the terrorists even made videos denying the genocide

PoliticsRe: October 20 Protest, A Flop Already by youngEmelex(op): 1:08pm On Oct 19, 2025
gidgiddy:
Individuals like this are an example of why Nigeria is heading no where. Freedom to protest is an important part of any true democracy. Its not about if the protest achieves anything, or if the turnout is high or low. It is about freedom of expression. But here you have someone who is fully supporting the authorities to trample on the constitutional right of people to protest by using brute force to stop it. In other words, he is supporting a crime

How we ended up in the same country with people like this is a tragedy
I am only predicting this event
PoliticsOctober 20 Protest, A Flop Already by youngEmelex(op): 11:29am On Oct 19, 2025
Sowere has never achieved anything from organizing a protest and will not this time. I am predicting this event not as if am against their movement. The protest to release Nnamdi Kanu has failed already just like every past protest under APC failed. There will be extremely low turnout of protesters and the protest will go unnoticed. Even if people eventually turn up for the protest, there will be use of brutal force against them. If I were in the shoes of IPOB leadership, another person should be elected as the overall head because Nnamdi Kanu is gone forever.
Christianity EtcEarly Church Teachings Saved A Lot Of Lives by youngEmelex(op): 5:16am On Oct 19, 2025
I will actually admit that the teachings I received while growing up in the church saved my life and I know thousands of others will also confess to this. While growing up in the church, we were taught to abstain from all forms of sexual immortality, alcoholism, smoking and other vices. The only reason they gave us was that God will burn sinners in hell. As I advanced in age, I then realized the health consequences and dangers of these practices. I met children who were orphaned because their parents died of HIV/AIDS. I met young people battling untreatable STDs with their lives almost ruined. I saw people die from lung cancer as a result of dangerous smoking habits. Men battling with alcohol addictions to the extent that they can't provide for their families. I didn't know that those vices were we warned of will eventually destroy lives here on the earth, I was only afraid of hell but now I can tell you that I live healthy, happy and fulfilled
CrimeWho To Actually Blame For This Current Bandit Attacks by youngEmelex(op): 11:10pm On Oct 12, 2025
As a self styled security expert, I can sincerely tell you that most of these communities sacked by Fulani militia today actually had enough time to develop and also create their own security network but they failed to do so. A particular community suffering same fate in Anambra state actually raised about 40 million from their indigenes in diaspora and they kicked out the bandits terrorizing the area using local security and intelligence. Does it mean that all these years, the rest of the communities struggling with bandits attacks couldn't raise children who are educated and can represent them in government, police, military etc. Moreover, If those communities weren't idle from the outset, bandits couldn't set up strong holds there. If they were into any form of production or doing something meaningful to support the economy, they must have attracted government presence there. Even foreign investors must have set up structures there if they have actually invested in their communities themselves. It baffles me how people will choose to live nonchalantly and idle now Fulani militia are replacing them with cows.
Christianity EtcShould A Christian Partake In Vote Buying? by youngEmelex(op): 1:46pm On Oct 11, 2025
Someone once told me that vote buying is a form of occultic practice carried out by demonic politicians but I dismissed such claims immediately. But most of these votes don't actually count as elections are usually manipulated by the staff in charge so why do they still need to buy votes? I still didn't see any logic in the question. I felt politicians were only desperate to get more votes but over the years, I observed that over 300 people can be killed in a community just in a day. Ever since vote buying became a norm, killings have also become a norm. Most of those communities that participate in vote buying also participate and become victims of blood letting. When an amount as low as 1k is giving in exchange of a vote, the individual life's value also become as cheap as 1k. They can be slaughtered at anytime and day without any intervention from anywhere. This is merely a conspiracy theory. The reality here is that no competent politician will need to buy votes to win an election. Since the people are not after competence but after their stomach, they will end up voting who cannot handle security situations and who they can't hold accountable. Individuals especially those who claim that their community is more of Christians should stop participating in vote buying. They should start voting who they can hold accountable so that one chapter of this Christian genocide claims will be closed.
PoliticsA New Dimension To The Nigeria - Bokoharam War by youngEmelex(op): 1:16pm On Oct 04, 2025
Nigeria is at war but the people are living in denial because of media cover-ups. The media is trying so hard to make Nigerians believe that there is relative peace and stability but the reverse is the case. Earlier this year, I wrote an article here on nairaland warning that Nigeria will face serious security challenges in the nearest future. I warned that with the state of Emergency declared in the neighbouring states of Mali and Niger, insurgents will move to a safer ground. They will migrate to a region where there is a more docile government with lesser security architecture and intelligence. BokoHaram as of 2014 was attacking parks, schools and markets but the strategy has changed. They now channel their energy towards military bases and formations in towns and villages. This strategy of attacks on military infrastructure is how Israel and advanced countries wage war on enemy countries. During the Israel-Iran war that lasted for 12 days, Israel targetted Iran's military infrastructure and nuclear sites razing them to dust. Now, you can see that BokoHaram is waging war on Nigeria and they are following international law. They are driven by intelligence and they follow war protocols. A target on military formations other than churches and markets is a pure war situation. Therefore, the Nigerian military should mobilize for a real war situation because this is beyond banditry and kidnapping as potrayed by the media and government officials.

PoliticsCity Occupiers Are Less Concerned About Insecurity by youngEmelex(op): 11:36pm On Sep 30, 2025
It's very obvious that the killings in Nigeria so far are mostly restricted to remote villages which are usually very far from the state capitals. 98% of the victims of insecurity are vulnerable women and children in typical villages who barely have access to technology and the internet. This has led to these attacks being underreported and the casualty figures undercalculated. While the villages are burning down, the cities are still bubbling with their daily businesses amidst tight security. Because of this, most people in the cities have refused to lend their voices or notice the attrocities committed by the marauding militia. This is just history simply repeating itself. Remember that while BokoHaram was attacking Churches, people who worship in the mosques pretended that they haven't heard about such attacks. If Nigerians who have access to the internet remain mute because these events are only occuring in remote villages, the future might take them unawares
Christianity EtcPeople Who Came Out To Witness Rapture Have No Life's Purpose by youngEmelex(op): 8:39am On Sep 28, 2025
According to the book of Acts 1:7(KJV), the date and time that rapture will occur shouldn't be your concern. Your concern on this earth is to fulfill the purpose of your calling, the reason why you were created. You shouldn't be idly sitting waiting for rapture. You should be busy with your career, talent, business and education. You should be investing in yourself as your work orientation should focus more on how to impact your generation. While you are busy fulfilling purpose, rapture should catch up with you. You shouldn't be the one catching up with rapture. People are so idle and empty in Africa, that's why they are all waiting to migrate to heaven where they will continue their idleness. Heaven is for purpose fulfilling beings not for the idle
PoliticsWhy Sowore Is Just Wasting His Energy by youngEmelex(op): 11:13pm On Sep 26, 2025
Someone who has been protesting since the 1980s and haven't seen any positive changes should either change strategy or rest. It's not a new thing that Sowore has been agitating against bad leadership and exposing corruption, but for how long can he continue this way without getting any result? The truth is that an average Nigerian has no problem with corruption or bad leadership. An average Nigerian only has problems with those who are not members or loyal to his religious organization. You can see protest against Israel or heavy mob action against blasphemy but you can't see any protest against looting or even bandit/BokoHaram attacks. 50 people will rather prefer to be shot in a mosque as long as the shooting is carried out by an Islamic terrorist like Bello Turji or bandits and not an Igbo man or a Christian. When it comes to corruption, Nigerians only have issue when the corrupt is from another religious group or someone not loyal to the members or leaders for their religious group. We saw a campaign video in 2022 where a man was telling his listeners that it's better to choose a corrupt Muslim as president over a Christian. So, one could be wondering what Sowere intends to achieve in such a country. He should better find his way back to America where he can spend quality time with his wife. Mind you, the percentage of those who are not religious bigots is not up to 0.02%
