Most killings and kidnappings in Nigeria are done by bandits. ISWAP targets military installations while Lukarawa is bringing a new version of Islam. The killings in the middle belt which is dominated by Christians is carried out by Fulani herdsmen invaders. When the US soldiers came, one expected them to see to the affairs of the middle belt where the Christians are but they moved to Bauchi instead. Their airstrikes were against Lukarawa in Sokoto and ISWAP in Borno. These groups are not responsible for civilian casualties compared to the herders and bandit groups. Bandits killed over 100 people in just a single attack on a community in Kwara. Even the NYSC camp in Kwara has been relocated to the state capital from Edu LGA. So this group leads the deadliest attacks on civilians as far as the entire Africa is concerned. It's obvious that those accused of sponsoring these bandits diverted the attention of the US to ISWAP who they feel is also a greater threat to them and their banditry activities

You can enter any government general hospital and ask them for the records of people who died of AIDS in the early 2000. People were ignorant of the disease and they mostly didn't use condoms while sleeping with harlots. This my post doesn't apply to the modern day runs girls

There was a HIV pandemic that period but most people weren't aware except those in medical fields. People started preventing HIV from 2008 upwards. But many of them who contracted in the early 2000, all died. I personally know one of the victims

I remember in 2004 when I started doing strolling as my evening exercise. Every evening, I will just trek a long distance. Most times I just move from one street to another then return home. But being a very observant person, I don't just walk around without having a feel of the environment. What I observed in those days was that there were lots of restaurants, bars and joints on every nook and cranny of town. Most of those joints usually have a fairly bleached madam with big nyash who doesn't just cook food and pepper soup but also doubled as a hookup agent. What they do is to gather female teenagers in their restaurants and bar who pretend to be serving drinks and food only for pot bellied rich men to take them away to any destination of their choices at dark. The madams were not just pimps but also had their own clients too. I finally left the area for higher studies then returned in 2015. When I returned, I observed that 98% of those restaurants and bars were no more. Most of those spots were either replaced with a normal shop for selling items or even don't exist anymore. I was much younger then so I didn't make any meaning of that and couldn't fathom why the sudden change. What I learnt later was mind-boggling. How can someone do a video and be shouting, 'I get pride die' and such a man is the mentor of over 5 million Nigerian youths. Please how did this become possible in 2026 for a man with nose rings to be addressing the entire Nigerians. Can any university allow a student who dresses and appears like VDM to enter their project defense hall or write an exam? That someone is doing good does not mean that discipline and morals should be thrown away. Indecent attires can be tolerated in the market not where elites are gathered.

I don't understand why people should single out Gumi and label him a terrorist. Gumi is an innocent man who only wanted to use his position as a Muslim cleric to speak to the bandit leaders who were also Muslims at some points in their lives. Gumi has also been in the military and he understands the non kinetic means of containing violence. If you claim that Gumi is a terrorist then you must also claim that the CDS and some governors are terrorists too. Gumi knows the names and locations of these bandits same as your CDS and some governors. I do remember that when I was in secondary school, our teachers knew all the bad boys and cultists. Those of us who were living in the hostels knew the thieves, smokers, gays and all those who were supposed to be expelled by the school authority if reported but everyone kept quiet. No one ever wanted to enter the book of these bad boys because people were afraid that they could get ambushed by these boys during the holidays if they ever called them out. This secondary school analogy is not too far from what the security situation in Nigeria looks like. The government may know these bandits but capturing their leaders becomes another challenge because these bad boys already created a strong network and have allies who are ready to burn down the entire country. Already, they go for reprisals and are ready to decimate any village that leaks their information to the military. The greatest mistake was allowing them to get armed in the first place

I don't know much about history but since 1999, all the sitting presidents have had serious opposition. When Obasanjo was in power, his vice was part of those who resisted him at some point. When Buhari was in power, Saraki who was the Senate president also resisted him. I don't want to talk about Jonathan whose party members abandoned him for the APC. I believe that Tinubu is the godfather of African politics because this is the first time that a sitting president is facing no single opposition. I think he was patient enough not to contest when Yaradua and Buhari were all in the race. He waited for all serious contenders with large northern followership to finish their tenures before joining the race. He strategized in such a way that at the time of declaring his presidential ambition, only clowns and baby Politicians were left as opposition. An individual like Peter Obi who was unpopular in northwest and Atiku who has no electoral value in the south. The funniest part was that the clowns despite being regarded as opposition by some people were busy searching for Tinubu's certificate and drug case files while Tinubu was busy doing the underground work that granted him victory in 2023. Now that another election is almost here, people expected the opposition to form a single front but instead, they are still lobbying the US to release Tinubu's documents and at the same time still talking about his primary school certificate. Same strategies that failed them in 2023 and was even ruled out by the court is what they are repeating. At the end of the day, Peter Obi will win the Southeast where he is popular while Atiku will win the northeast where he is popular. Unfortunately for Atiku, the PDP governors that gave him southern votes have all defected to APC so even Peter Obi who can manage to secure votes from north central will beat him hands down this time around. The two clowns should join Sowore's activism because they are just content creators using politics as niche

The recent statement credited to a muslim cleric where he clearly stated that Nigeria is an Islamic country and whoever doesn't want that should leave can be likened to the 'leave or die' warning given by ISIS in Syria around 2014. People who aren't aware of the terrorist group 'ISIS' should Google them. They were active in Syria between 2014 - 2019 before they finally got kicked out by a joint military operation conducted by the world powers and their allies. It could be possible that when this terrorist group was kicked out of the middle east, they decided to focus on 'soft targets' or relocate to a place where there is no active government. We may be taking these Muslim clerics for granted without knowing that they are already speaking on behalf of ISIS or any other Islamic group with this same agenda of kicking non Muslims out of their ancestral lands. So even those of us in the oil producing states are at risk of loosing our homes like people in Plateau and Benue because it is as if this 'leave or die' order is already effective in those states.

You should be careful of what you celebrate though. Yahoo restored peace to my side ooooooh. In my location, Each street used to face robbery every night until Yahoo took most of them off the streets. It also reduced the activities of cult gangs as most of them focused on online hustle instead of blocking road. When obi-dients tell you that 2027 will be different from 2023, please don't mind them. What was their strategies in 2023 and what have they amended for 2027? The Kwankwaso they adopted is only popular in Kano and has no relevance in the remaining 18 northern states. Their new party NDC may not even be recognized by illiterate voters who cast the most votes. Their opposition is only felt on Twitter not on ground. It so obvious that only God can save us as black Africans because we live the opposite of life. Our way of thinking and doing things is twisted. What is good appears bad to us and what is bad appears good to us. What is straight looks bent to us and vice versa. I used to think that the reason why this number of force men are not deployed to communities under attack by bandits is because the country doesn't have that capacity, little did I know that it is intentional. I have seen videos where just two Hilux vans carrying like 20 soldiers are deployed to a community under heavy bandits attack. Such few soldiers cannot really contain the situation especially when the attackers are in their hundreds. They will definitely be overwhelmed and outnumbered. Last week, 10 police officers lost their lives to bandits while trying to repel an attack. Imagine if they had like 500 officers on ground, could bandits penetrate their formation talk more of killing 10 officers? But such number of officers can be sent to secure polling units during elections as if ballot boxes are more important than the lives of citizens. We better change our ways and wake up from our slumber in this part of Africa before it becomes too late for us.

Having observed all elections since 2023, I can tell you that Obi-dients shouldn't waste their time fielding their candidate in 2027. They should collapse their structure and endorse another candidate because they can never win presidential election in Nigeria. The recent election in Osun state is another pointer to the fact that Peter Obi cannot play Nigerian politics. It was vote buying against vote buying. Thugs from Federal level against thugs from state level. Bloodshed for bloodshed to the extent that 28 people were killed at different locations across the state. How can someone who doesn't give shishi contest in today's election talk more of someone who doesn't want problems but peace

Whether Obi or APC, they are all same. To see a black man with integrity is by connection. Obi will turn deaf ears to all that he pretends to care about today if elected. Tinubu once acted like he cared for citizens too

IPOB couldn't have gotten up to 100 to 200 followers if they didn't intensify misinformation and propaganda. If their agenda was only centered on self determination and independence from the Nigerian state, a lot of Igbos wouldn't have joined the organization because they clearly didn't have any clear road map to achieve Biafra. Any organization that can push for Biafran independence must be internationally rooted and accepted by all the old eastern states which includes Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwaibom etc. They must have the backing of the Niger Delta especially the militants. If arms struggle was an option or they claim to form a resistant movement like that of Hamas and Hezbollah in the middle east, then they must have the ability to acquire or develop missiles, bombs and war drones. IPOB had no single strategy instead they opted for cheap propaganda and blackmail. They tagged anyone who exposes their lies a saboteur. They claimed Federal government is sponsoring BokoHaram and about to Fulanize the southeast. They claimed the RUGA program was a means to deploy Fulani militia to fight jihad. The farmers/herders clash in the north central was labeled a Christian genocide. The operation safe corridor which allowed BokoHaram's conscripted fighters to surrender was tagged an islamization agenda. Every bandit attack in far away northwest was announced on their radio as a plan to invade southeast. They provided false evidences which appeared so real. All these caused panic and many gullible Igbos fell for them. These gave them massive followership since the people feared islamization and Fulani invasion. Now that people have realized that IPOB never had any plan to achieve Biafra, an Igbo man has even gone live on television calling for the beheading of Nnamdi Kanu who is the leader of the organization that almost set the Southeast on fire.

People criticizing the reintegration of BokoHaram into the military or CJTF know nothing about the strategies used to end BokoHaram. BokoHaram fighters are blood tasty lunatics. Their level of ruggedity and blood thirstiness cannot be matched by individuals who got recruited into the Army to survive economic hardship and cater for their families. BokoHaram's recruitment is determined by how many people you have killed and your advanced criminal record while military recruitment is based on your level of discipline. You will be disqualified by the military once you have any criminal record. So the fight is between people who are disciplined with high moral standards against blood sucking monsters who see people as meat. You needed demons to do away with demons. You can't attack lions using zebras, to attack lions you must use hyenas or other blood thirsty animals. This brought the idea of repentant BokoHaram where blood thirsty fighters are recruited to fight their likes having known their strengths and weaknesses. You don't expect an Ijaw man who haven't been to Borno before to win a war against people born and raised in Borno. You needed someone who knows the routes to be able to fight there. The idea of repentant BokoHaram was the ingenuity used to defeat BokoHaram and bring permanent peace to Borno and it's neighbouring states. Anyone criticizing this strategy is doing so out of ignorance

Since 2009, Nigeria has experienced a wave of attacks from BokoHaram. There was no single weekend when you don't see news about attacks on newspaper headlines. So many communities were deserted and IDP camps saw heavy influx of people weekly. There were records of IED explosions, attack on military camps, schools, churches, mosque and markets. Crises also broke out in the middle belt where farming communities came under serious attacks by Fulani militia.This resulted to a Christian genocide claim because most of those farming communities were predominantly Christians. Meanwhile, border communities of lake Chad and Cameroon were the worst hit by BokoHaram insurgent groups. With the efforts of USA government which offered intelligence and Nigerian soldiers boots on the ground, ISWAP was heavily bombarded which caused the group to be completely decimated. Also, bandit leaders in Zamfara were also targeted and they suffered heavily casualties which resulted in collapse of their strong holds. Now, you can read newspaper headlines without seeing reports of attacks in any state of the country as opposed to how it was years ago. As peace returns to Nigeria, the government should make sure they eradicate poverty completely and occupy all ungoverned spaces. State Police should also be created without any further delays

All these peace talks organized by communities cannot end this farmers/herders clash. This outdated method of cattle rearing by Fulani herders will always cause a clash because most communities no longer have reserved lands. Everyone is either building or farming on their lands. When they get starved of income, they will be forced to adjust

State Police is the way to go because before the Federal police arrives at a crime scene, the criminals have fled already. But state police will enable police presence in every community

Criminal Fulani Herders never said they are interested in toppling the government. I don't know where the people got the idea of jihad from. These guys are criminals who decided to make a living through banditry and kidnapping. We once had a group in Ikorodu, Lagos referred to as Badoo. This group attacks households at midnight and smash the heads of their victims using stones. This group was deadlier than Fulani militia yet nobody claimed that Badoo was fighting to conquer Nigeria. To solve the issue of banditry and kidnapping, state police must be created then the govt must tackle illiteracy, unemployment, hunger and poverty at the grassroots.

Don't mistake bandits for BokoHaram, they are not same. BokoHaram is the only group screaming Allahu Akbar and they are yet to overrun Maiduguri in 17 years so they are on an impossible mission to islamize Nigeria. If BokoHaram cannot conquer a single community in over 17 years, how can they conquer a single town, talk more of a LGA. It will take them another 200,000 years to conquer the whole country with over 250 million people and 36 states. Bandits on the other hand don't shout Allahu Akbar when they kidnap citizens from the highway. They only demand ransom from their victims
