Ok here we go again... This is just a little compilation of 16 events that shook us in 2016. 1. Mmm happened. The fastest way to grow money. But then took Nigerians by surprise... Went on Xmas recess just when guys were planning to hit it big. 2. Dollar hit d highest. 494 naira to a dollar. We were promised N1 to $1. 3. Recession is just a word...according to Madam minister, Adeosun. But then became reality to her few months later. 4. Shekau was killed for the 9th time. Hope he doesn't rise again. 5. Uyo church collapse. So tragic. 6. 2016 budget got missing, found, and was finally padded. But then padding is not a crime. 7. Corruption fight was intensified to its peak since indepence by our amiable President... No 1 was convicted. 8. Super falcons won the AWC but there was no plan for payment. Sports minister Dalung did not expect them to win. 9. Ibori got out of jail. He was celebrated by his goons... by far more than anticipated. 10. House of Representatives member Jibrin was suspended because he had evidence on the heavily padded budget. I thought we were fighting corruption... But nah, thats not corruption. 11. PMB and his wife aisha got it heated and we discovered that Aisha was meant for the oda room only. PMB Diaris God o...Kontinu. 12. Tee billz and tiwa got it all wrong... Tee billz decided for suicide in a strategic location where he could be easily rescued. 13. Hip TV got the shocker of their life with the #headies2016... It was boycotted by major acts. Now they know better. The TV makes the artist... The artist makes the TV. 14. Pdp had two national chairmen leading simultaneously but parallel goals for the most part of 2016. APC must have been delighted. 15. Tinubu's popularity with the APC dropped. Oyegun seem to be in control as it were especially with ties to the president. It sucks to lose control. 16. The red beret minister, his royal mis-yan'ness, Bar. Solomon Dalung referred to Nigeria as the United States of Nigeria. We never really got to know his reasons. Maybe he was tryna promote unity between North and South. Happy new year people. |
