EducationCan A Matriculated Student In UI ReSit For JAMB And Choose UI Again? by youngstarlit(op):
Someone told me, "Once you are matriculated in UI, you are forbidden from sitting for JAMB and choosing UI again because they don't give 2 matric numbers to a single student". Is this true?

Another person told me, you can choose UI again. However, you'll maintain the first matric given to you.

Do you know what made me most confused? BOTH OF THE ARE STUDENTS FROM UI

Is it true that if I go for the COURSE A in UI and I Matriculate, UI forbids me from gaining admission into another course in UI if I rewrite JAMB?

Some people believe that night is the best time to study for an examination. I also concur with this personally, I don't know about you. If you don't believe this saying, it means you have never read at night before.

Reading becomes interesting when you understand and remember everything you read. . One way to do that is to study at night.

However, many students find it extremely difficult to read at night. Those that even try to read at night don't do it for a long period of time. They find themselves dosing off only after few minutes of reading. WHY? I will say that they have failed to use the techniques that works best while reading at night.

For me the most important tip is to know how each course is graded. Know what percentage each assignment or exam carries towards the overall mark so you know where to pay special focus

And for your exams, know the style of questions. Are the questions more of writing, multiple choice, mathematical (for numeric courses) so you are not busy cramming definition in a course where you will be solving numbers all through

Attend every single class. And takw note of any hint the lecturer drops. He sets the question so he knows where the focus is.

These are what worked for me
Great feedback

1. Never look down on lectures. Always attend all classes! (ignore tutorials if possible, they mostly don't help atimes)

Work with whatever you are taught in class by your lecturers only.

Tutorial centers tend to go outside the course outline mostly, but you must no that the exams questions wont be set by the tutorial centers but by your lecturers.

2. Read, Read, Read!!!

3. Run away from girls/guys that have nothing to offer you academically.

4. Remember God/Allah
Thank you for your feedback. This is a simple summary of the article.

Jelo4kul:
Well most of what he said is true. In UNN, getting a first class is just to know your onions. There is a site that gets the past questions and solutions to the past questions that most First class graduates make use of. Once you know the site, you are in for your first class.

Some people would be annoyed with me for letting the cat out of the bag.
Thank you for your feedback.
