I started using starlink on the first of this month, I was thinking starlink was going to give me free one month subscription. But up till now, I have not gotten my on month free subscription from starlink

You can use a 3rd party router to extend the coverage.

I just got the tp link ax 23(ax1800) for around 80k.

I have been using it with starlink mini without bypass mode until like 30mins ago when I decided to bypass it and the difference in speed is clear.

The activation fee is only for people using it in Lagos, Abuja and maybe portharcourt.

I have a question.. Starlink mini uses a wifi 5 router. If I bypass it to a tp link wifi 6 router, will it have wifi 6 speeds? Hypothetically speaking.

It all depends on the subscription packing. If you want to move your mini around, you, you need the roaming plan but I don't think it's available right now in Nigeria.

I bought mine via jumia may ending. I paid 57k to activate it but my 2nd month was free. I am in Ibadan though.

You can't change address in a place with max capacity reached. You'll loose your slot in your Ikeja and can't get a new slot in Lekki. That's if you are among the lucky ones on residential

I don't know what's wrong. I'm getting slower speeds when I use the Lan cable from the starlink mini compared to when I use wifi. What could be the issue?

Yes! The Mini provides similar performance to the standard kit, the major difference is the size, the Mini is built to be portable and has its router inbuilt in the dish, so there's no need for external router when setting it up. Just connect the power cable to the power source, and you are good to go.

I heard the mini has an ethernet port? Can I use a regular ethernet cable to connect to it or it has to be one from starlink?

i have the standard v2 at home stationed on my roof, but I’m a frequent traveler due to my job and sometimes it takes me to network dead zones so i needed a more portable that can fit the , hence the reason for the mini
