at Benson bustop in ikorodu last night....
i was about boarding bike with a girl....
a Friend sha, then a guy came from no where and asked d bike man to help him change his 1k to two 500 naira.....
the bike man said he doesn't av, my friend said she doesn't too......
i was acting like a good Samaritan, i changed it for him cz i was n a haste to board bike......
kept the money in my pocket..... he was even asking for more changes too....
i was like wo later, i don dey go....

on bike, my friend was now telling me i shouldn't av changed the money for him, that wat if he ran away with it....
i was like, me that held d money firmly....

for my mind...
on getting home then i discovered the money was fake....

just couldn't cry i swear...
it's so painful....
wat if d money was more than that...

The Federal Government of Nigeria has added Thursday 7th July, 2016 as Public Holiday for the celebration of Eid-el fitr, having declared Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th July, 2016 as public holidays earlier.

The declaration was made on behalf of the Federal Government by the Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Dambazau in a statement on Tuesday signed by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Bassey Okon Akpanyung.

This declaration followed the directive by the President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, the Sultan of Sokoto, to the effect that the Ramadan fast continues on Tuesday as a result of the non-sighting of the moon.

The statement urged Nigerians to use this period of sober reflections to ensure harmony, unity and peaceful co-existence, while giving full support to the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in his sustained effort to pursue socio-economic and political growth of the nation.

10 Tips to get the best out of the blessed last 10 Nights of Ramadan

1. No matter how good or bad your Ramadan went, enter the last 10 Days well prepared, with pure intentions, full energy and a positive outlook.

2. Listen to or read the Tafsir of Surah Al-Qadr to know about this amazing night, to switch that mode ON and to keep it remained ON for all the nights. It could fall on any of the last 10 nights.

3. Choose the most comfortable place for worship in your home or Masjid. Avoid leaning on pillows & cushions while reciting Qur’an or Adhkaar so as to keep your back straight.

4. Switch off your mobile phones, iPads and Laptops if possible.

5. If you’re alone, recite the Qur’an in a loud beautiful voice so that your ears & heart remain involved with the recitation and you don’t feel drowsy. Plus it has an amazingly calming effect trust me!

If you’re not alone then you can recite in a normal volume not to disturb others but can listen to a Qiraa-at in high volume using your earphone.

6. Elongate your Sujood and make loads and loads of Du’aas in it. Cry hard and ask ALLAH everything you wish for in Dunya and Aakhirah.

7. Raise your Du’aa – Remember it’s the night of decree and angels are precisely writing down whatever is gonna happen in your life for the next coming year, be specific in your Du’aas and ask for each and everything you need – Hajj, Job, Career, Spouse, Children, Home, whatever. Don’t play small in your Du’aas as you’re asking the KING OF ALL KINGS!

8. Pray 2 Raka’ah Salatul Tawbah every single night and ask for forgiveness from ALLAH – Al-Ghaffar, Al-Ghafoor, Al-Tawwab and Al-’Afuww. Repent sincerely with full hope and firm resolve of not repeating those sins again.

9. Memorize and keep asking the Du’aa of Lailatul Qadr: Allaahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibb al-‘afwa fa’affu ‘anni (O Allaah, You are forgiving and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).

10. Ask ALLAH to grant you Lailatul Qadr and accept from you whatever ‘ibaadaat you did by His tawfeeq.

– It is required that a Muslim who wants to perform any prayer like the five daily prayers perform either Wudu’ (water ablution or simply ablution) or Tayyamum (sand ablution), in case there is no water
– These two things have ways of doing them
There are various books of knowledge in Islam which explains how to perform Wudu’ and Tayyamum. While a good number of Muslims know how to perform ablution, many do not know how to perform Tayyamum. However, some Muslims still do not know about both the way they should.

Evidence for ablution
The explanation about the two types of ablution was stated in chapter 5 verse 6 of the Glorious Qur’an as follows:
“O you who have believed, when you rise to perform prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah (that is when a person had sexual intercourse or had wet dream), then purify yourselves.

“But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself (from defaecating or urinating) or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favour upon you that you may be grateful.”
On how Wudu’ should be performed. In a Hadeeth in Saheeh Bukhari, which was narrated by Ata bin Yasar. Yasar said: “Ibn Abbas performed ablution and washed his face (in the following way): He ladled out a handful of water, rinsed his mouth and washed his nose with it by putting in water and then blowing it out. He then took another handful of water and did like that to wash his face. He took another handful and washed his right forearm, the took another handful and washed his forearm, then passed wet hand over his head. He then took a handful of water and washed his right feet to the ankle thoroughly and also took handful of water to wash his left feet to the ankle thoroughly. Ibn Abbas then said, he saw the Prophet (peace be upon his noble soul) perform ablution in the same.”
Performing Wudu’ and Tayyamum
The step by step way of performing Wudu’ is as follows:
Note that!!
For every new action, u use a new set of water... (i.e don't use water u use for ur head at the same time for ur ear)

1. Wash the whole of your two hands up to your wrist, three times
2. Rinse your mouth and spit out the water and sniff water into your nose and blow it out, three times
3. Wash your entire face, three times
4. Wash your right forearm starting first from your hand up to the elbow, three times, and do the same for the left side
5. Wet your hand with water and use to it to wipe the whole of your head, and wet ur hand again and use your forefingers and thumbs (of both hands) to clean your two ears.
6. Conclude your water ablution by washing your two feet up to your ankles, starting with the right foot.

On the other hand for Tayyamum, it is only performed on rare occasions, like when there is no water in the whole of a community, or if a person will aggravate his sickness, if water touches his body. Only two parts are wiped in sand ablution.
1. After a person places his two palms on a dry surface or light sand, he wipes his face
2. After that, he wipes his two hands to the wrist, which ends the Tayyamum.
All Muslims should try to learn how to perform these two types of ablution.

Evaluates, processes, inventories and photographs items for our e-commerce sites. Responsible for high volume product photography across multiple product categories as needed (accessories, house wares, sporting goods, art, etc).
