OMG! I expected u to read carefully my response and note the seemingly areas of erroneous assumption. Of course ' the dogs barks' is absolutely wrong. Dat will be plural noun + singular verb. The correct thing is ' the dogs bark ' which is plural noun + plural verb. What u are obviously not getting here is that singular verbs carry the 's' or 'es' as d case may be while in d case of nouns, the singular nouns do not possess the 's' or 'es' except for words that originally have any of these on their own for example 'Moses' or 'Amos'. Therefore, plural nouns/pronouns + plural verbs; singular nouns/pronouns + singular verbs.Enough said on this.

Singular nouns/pronouns attract singular verbs. The word 'goes' for example is a singular verb and not a plural verb. Do not be confused by the 'es' in the verb.

From my interpretation, if your school though a private body( which normally on that basis prohibits its students from working) is listed amongst d recognised bodies, then you will be allowed to work. However, if you are a visiting student or one wth a short course, you will not be allowed to work. My question is what is d definition of "short course". Is it a course with duration of 6months and below?

Something u guys missed out, "inviting successful candidates for oral interview via sms AND email from Feb 18 -24
Interpretation is, within 18-24 text AND email would have been sent and u will be grouped. On 18th Text messages were sent, the remaining days are for email, meaning if you didn't get text then you might have to move on.
NNPC isn't a do or die affair. U don't have to believe this comment, just wait till today and 2morrow and the next and the next if any1 gets a text message. At least I am 100% sure no 1 got on 19th.
N.B please don't send me any PM to find out my source or ask further questions because I won't respond.

Ur interpretations are erroneously based on either ur misinformation or lack of sensitivity to those who haven't gotten their IVs. The message from PCL categorically was that IVs by way of SMS will be sent from 18/02 to 21/02 while mails will be sent on 24/02. As a way of addendum, we should learn to civil in our speeches instead of bn happy wth others' seemingly "misfortunes".Below is a reply by PCL to my mail:
Dear Candidate,

This is to acknowledge receipt of your email. 

We will be contacting successful candidates in batches between February 18-21, 2015 by SMS. An email containing the details of the oral interviews will be sent by 24/02/15. You are advised to check your inbox/spam/junk boxes by the mentioned date. 

NOTES:

(1) If you receive an SMS, please note that the interviews will hold in Abuja; you are advised to prepare for your logistics accordingly.

(2) If you no longer have access to the email address you provided during application, we advise that you send in the accurate email address immediately to 'nnpc-recruitment@phillipsconsulting.net'. Such email should have a subject line as follows: "Change of email address/GT" or "Change of email address/OP" or "Change of email address/EH" - whichever is appropriate for the job you applied for. Receipt of SMS will not guarantee entry into the interview venue. 

Unsuccessful candidates will be reached appropriately afterwards.

What happen is that all my pals with whom we received d survey mail had received our congratulatory sms.Out of those that receeived no survey mail, only a few were congratulated through text.Thats d reason I felt d survey mail is related to our being notified of our success...Many ppl without sms will surely receive d invitation mail due to network palaver.This I am very sure of.Therefore nobody should lose hope yet.Its not over until its over...All d best! #mythoughts!

I munched and sent d picture. It's 4 real even though it has bn removed from d website. I sent PCL a mail and they responded by repeating same info. From Feb.18 - 21, IVs will be sent by way of SMS while Feb. 24 will witness IVs by mails.

Please house, I have a peculiar case here. I didn't receive either of the text messages or mails that were sent prior the first test. As a result, I took my mind off the NNPC recruitment process. But to my surprise (a day to d test), a friend called to inform me Dat he saw my invitation letter in one of d courier services. I went for the letter and saw my old phone number( which has been discarded) on it. I have done all I could to retrieve it but all to no avail. Was told it has been recycled. I know this may sound like stories upon stories. But I really wish to know d outcome of my test. Any advice/suggestion please? I wud appreciate greatly.
