Who is dragging "Ijaw clans"... I know sobriety is not something you guys are used to, but please try, prove me wrong.
This thread is about Kalabari's full Ijaw denial and not about Igbo or any other group or subgroup.

Who is the person who made the denial? Lol.. A post on Nairaland does not represent the sentiment of an Ethnic group. Just as there are many groups in Yorubaland with different opinions about things. I lived in Port Harcourt for 14 good years and went to both Uniport and RSUST. I have dozens of Kalabari friends. They consider themselves Ijaw. I have never met one Kalabari person that did not say he wasn't Ijaw... I'm just seeing this for the first time. And ethic groups in Nigeria insulting themselves is the most stupid thing in the world. The world already hates black people. It breaks my heart to see us hate each other so much. We need to change our ways. Everyone sees you as a niggar and they will treat you the same whether your are yoruba z Igbo , efik etc..stoo deceiving yourselves about tribal superiority. To the world... You are one word...BLACK. and that's all they see... Nobody cares if you are from any tribe. We are very silly in this part of the world I swear

You keep mentioning Ijaw. Save for one or two borrowed practices and shared riverine life there is nothing Ijaw about Kalabari. Nothing. It may come as a surprise to you though.
