You all know the truth that the land was and is the historical home of the Jews. The word Jerusalem itself is Jewish. The Arabs are just being hard hearted because of their well documented hatred for the Jews. History records that on at least three occasions(1948,1967,1972) the armies of the Arab nations came together to attack Israel ostensibly to displace the Jews from the middle east. Israel prevailed on each occasion. So when I hear the Arabs splitting hairs over alleged occupation of their land by the jews , I can't help but laugh at their blatant hypocrisy

A Peruvian woman was forced to keep the body of her dead baby in a freezer after a hospital told her to keep it until she had a death certificate.

Monica Palomino said her baby was born prematurely last Saturday after a gestation of only 25 weeks and died on Monday.

But under pressure from security personnel at Lima's Sergio Bernales hospital, she had to take the body home until she could begin the process of getting a death certificate.

"They gave me my son when I was discharged. He's in the refrigerator in my house because they did not give me the time to do the paperwork for his death certificate," Palomino told ATV television.

"I want to bury him but to do so I need the death certificate," said the mother, who returned to the hospital on Tuesday to claim it.

Meanwhile, the child's body remained in the freezer of the family refrigerator. On the door she placed a sign that says, "Do Not Touch."

"The woman in charge of the gynecology department did not want to let me leave the hospital if I didn't take my baby. My baby was wrapped in a diaper."

Hospital director Julio Silva said Wednesday it would investigate the woman's complaint, because he said the security guards had broken all the hospital's procedures.

"I assume full responsibility. What should have been done is wait in the mortuary for the death certificate to be issued, to then be able to remove the body," Silva told reporters.

A top Nigerian scammer known in the black community as "Starboy" was arrested in Bangkok on Thursday, along with five members of his gang also from Nigeria.

The suspect identified as Antonio Joscarlos, along with his 20-year-old Thai girlfriend called Sukanya Sakaew, had used a fake Facebook profile to con lonely middle aged Thai men looking for love by pretending to be a beautiful American female soldier on Facebook.

The suspect and his girlfriend were caught at their JP Smart Condominium in Pak Kret, Chaengwattana area as a part of the government’s crackdown on foreign criminals.

They were chatting to 38 men at the time of their arrest. Victims were persuaded in the "romance scam" to send money to their accounts.

Police found six mobile phones and a few bank books at the apartment, which had a circulating fund of THB3 million (nearly US$92,000).

Taken into evidence were a computer notebook, ten phones, bankbooks, cash and other valuables.
Also arrested yesterday were five friends of "Starboy" - all Nigerians- running investment scams tricking Thai couples. Three million baht in funds was found as part of this subsequent investigation.

Leading the crackdown ordered by prime minister Prayut Chan-ocha and deputy Prawit Wongsuwan is acting tourism police chief Surachet Hakpan who said that romance scams and bogus investment schemes were causing a lot of trouble for the country. The former relied on those looking for love while the latter relied on people's greed.

All those arrested have been initially detained on fraud and false pretenses charges.

The crackdown is targeting mostly those in the African community using tourism as a cover for illegal activities.

The nominations for the 2018 Grammy Awards have been released – Surprisingly, a Nigerian is among those nominated – His name is Tunji Ige and he was nominated as a producer alongside others like Syk Sense and Chris McClenney In 2016, Nigerians celebrated the fact that Wizkid and Kah – Lo were nominated for Grammy awards and even though they did not win, their names will go down in history.
Recently, the list of nominations for 2018 Grammy awards were announced and surprisingly, another Nigerian was nominated. His name is Tunji Ige and he was nominated as a producer for his work on Location, a record by American singer Khalid. It is nominated in the Best R&B category. He was nominated alongside other producers Syk Sense and Chris McClenney.
Born to Nigerian parents, Tunji has lived all his life in America. He started making music at age 14 using a laptop and a sampler. Since then he has worked with other musicians as well as releasing his own material. He also joined a music collective called Brain Bandits.
In 2014, he released his self-produced debut album titled The Love Project. Since its release, it has been played thousands of times on Soundcloud. The project also attracted positive reviews from music magazines like Pitchfork, Noisey and Fader. He also lists Fela Anikulapo Kuti as one of his musical influences.
Reacting to his nomination, Tunji took to his page to thank all those that contributed on the song.

To me his victory was somewhat controversial in the sense that he rode on the racist, anti- immigrant and anti-Islamic appeal of the people which weren't enough to earn him popular votes but somehow he got through by the electoral college votes.

That to me is controversial.

There is nothing controversial about that. American electoral law is as clear as it can be. Everyone knows it is the electoral college that determines who becomes President and not popular vote. All those who are whipping up this popular vote issue are just being dishonest. They all knew what the law was before going for the elections so why are they now crying wolf after their preferred candidate lost? If it had been the other way and Clinton won the electoral college but Trump took the popular votes, would we be hearing all these rubbish whining from liberals now? By the way, Trump is not the first President to win the Presidency without winning the popular votes. Four other presidents before him have done the same. George bush(43rd) being the last one to do so. There was no controversy about Trump's win. He won fair and square as stipulated by the law
