[quote author=Papi85 post=110262827]Pinnick and the coaches should seize this opportunity to reach out to billing, chukwuemeka and adarabioyo as well. Solanke so far is the best striker in the English championship with 19 goals in 30 games so far but currently we hv a lot of strikers doing decently well in Europe so getting him on board won’t really he necessary

Adarabioyo if lured will be a perfect replacement for aging balogun who may retire from the team after the World Cup of the team qualifies

Billing hv been a colossus in the heart of midfield for promotion hopefuls Bournemouth and bringing him on board will add to our lean midfield options. Naturally a CM/Box2box midfielder who can as well be deployed as a dm if need be

Imagine having ndidi,Onyeka, billing, eze, iwobi, aribo, bonke as our midfield options at the World Cup whereas the likes of alhassan, onyedika and Rennes ugochukwu will also be on the corner waiting for a chances to sneak into the team

In defence ekong,akpoguma,aina,omeruo,adarabioyo,zaidu, balogun,awaziem,bassey

Forwards osimehn,Dennis, lookman, iheanacho, chukwueze, Simon, sadiq, awoniyi and maybe kalu if he finds his mojo back

With this crop of players and good tactics and coaching the team will likely make a statement at the next World Cup atleast getting tot he 2nd round [/opals!
Bleep Billing tbh. If he's not a creative midfielder, i no wan hear him name.

On rohr first attempt he qualified us for the ANC 3rd place and qualified us for the World Cup while on egu first attempt we got our worst ANC result in 40 years and imbeciles like you are still talking. Let’s not qualify for the World Cup is when you guys will see my anger. The team is eguavoen inherited was much better than what Rohr inherited in 2016
You're a comedian. Egu won a bronze medal on his first attempt too. I know you don't like the guy(I'm not a big fan tbh) but please try to be objective and not yan opaks!

Onyedika

Alhassan Yusuf

Nwobodo

Yet we're after Eze and Olise begging them.
For club football, money and other things might be the motivation but for country, it's passion.
At the end of the day, these FBs will be playing for us out of pity and not for love and passion.
Eze and Olise are more creative than the people you named. We need creative midfielders. Nwobodo has been converted to a CM.

Am i the only one still not comfortable with this Amuneke and Eguavoen combo?

Make Dem no go dey trade blow for camp ontop who go start and who go dey bench o grin grin
You suppose know Nigeria and their oversabi smh. Pinnick is listening to the mumus pushing this "consortium of coaches" talk. Amuneke once said he was above being assistant to Rohr. I'm surprised he'd be accepting this job.
Na here we dey sha.

People I don't understand the news about Amunike's appointment. What I saw was about Emma will be Chief Coach and Augustine will continue as TA. Is Egu going back to his old role or is he staying as Emma's boss.
He's replacing Salisu I think?

Where is that useless whóre Safarigirl ? She is no where to be found after the abysmal performance of her imaginary lover, You're a law graduate but all over Twitter distracting our goalie, public display of shame untop person wey no fit look your side, a boy that should be 15 years your junior.

The men on this thread are not left out, this thread is officially the most useless thread on this forum, more like a beer parlour, gathering of ogogoro freaks, they let the hype get into the boys head.

Fools everywhere, see one of them up there saying Osimhen is better Edinson Cavani, imagine saying a boy that hasn't shown anything is better than a legend with over 400career goals, fools.
Imagine these ogogoro freaks are still out here making mouth after the humiliation in garoua yesterday night, our boys lost to a team with 12 players out with covid.

This thread should be moved to the joke section.
Your whole life is a joke. We have heard you stupid notice me inbred.

From our first game to the last our midfield have been thin and I knew it will be exposed when we meet a tactically sound opposition

In our games you will find out that ndidi and aribo do the work of breaking play and linking the middle and the forward while iheanacho ghosts around waiting for the ball to fall to his feet

Football nowadays are won in the middle and anything with a superior midfield has the upper hand mostly in games

Our best midfield trio in the competition would have been ndidi as a DM, Onyeka as a box/box midfielder then aribo as a 10 or 8. The reason I will pick aribo ahead of iheanacho is his ability to track back to help the team and also he is more mobile than iheanacho

Even I would prefer starting iwobi in the 10 role than iheanacho

Iheanacho is a lovely player but off the ball he offers nothing.

The reason we saw the best of aribo and ndidi in this competition is because both were over worked and stressed

But shun aribo na luxury abeg, that guy na rolls Royce of a midfielder and I can’t wait for him to make the big leap to the epl as rumoured
Oil dey your head brother! Iheanacho is not an AM. He is a second striker. Brendan Rodgers has said this time and time again. Why Rohr and Eguavoen kept trying to push this thing I'll never understand(no I don't think we played a 4-4-2, it was a 4-2-3-1/4-4-1-1).
There were so many ways Eguavoen could've mixed up that midfield!
Aribo should be played as an AM or a CM in a 4-3-3. Gerrard noticed he was better off a bit further upfront or even outwide than playing as a pivot.

After watching Burkina Faso vs Gabon, you saw the 2 goalkeepers and somehow you think Okoye is not as bad as people make him out to be?
Yes. I've watched him for his club side and he's not as bad as some make him out to be.

donnarumma is young and good...

Nigeria cannot wait for a Keeper to get better...
If a donnarumma pops up, by all means replace maduka.
We don't have stellar options to pick from in the GK department. Let's stop acting like Maduka came and replaced a Manuel Neuer or an Allison because he's half German.

I can still remember some of Uzoho's "saves" at the 2018 WC. Even a guy beside me then remarked that it would take the grace of God for him not to concede. Maduka isn't reliable. He is mistake prone. I wanted to recommend Akpeyi but I watched one of the training videos, and what I saw from Akpeyi!!!, lemme just leave it cos he never featured. Make l drag only those wey play.

Right now the position is very open. I still believe in Maduka though. I've seen some of his saves. He has talent but lacks confidence.
Maduka is a young keeper who gets harshly criticized by most with an agenda.
Dude loses concentration at crucial periods sometimes but he's definitely not as bad as they are making him out to be. He's young and will get better.

The frustrating thing about yesterday is that we didn't get outclassed. I still feel we might have gotten something out of the game if Iwobi didn't get sent off.
Harsh sending off and all but I'm still mad he got sent off!
Bringing Iwobi on was not a bad move tbh. Getting that red card is just....unexplainable!

Don’t mind that small girl. On a normal circumstance, she should be preparing dinner or giving Backshots. Very clueless individual in football analysis because she would consider looks before competency. Uzoho never deserved to lose his position because of such injuries
We all know that's all your mom amounts for but lay off that girl.

I feel like Watford are preparing for life after Dennis that’s why they signed Kalu. Dennis will most likely depart from Watford by the end of the season irrespective of their relegation status that’s why they signed kalu.
Or maybe they now see Dennis as a CF rather than a winger. If anything, Kalu could be a replacement for Sarr.
