Update pls!!

Please House, who is aware of ProvidusUnity Bank. I was told that they offer roughly 20% to 22% per annum for these short-term tenors (3 months and 6months) and a bonus interest rate if you deposit over 1M with them. How true is this and how safe is your money with them? On what principal do you get 20-22% per annum?

I don't want to just take the advice of a promoter like that of Stanbic.

Thanks.

I like your style Sha, you come in as a newbie to mmf.. shake bumbum everywhere and people rush to help the newbie, then once you've their attention, you stylishly introduce your own coy/product and then push the discourse away from yourself

Stick shift saves life, literally. You'll get the full experience when going long distance, if you stay in Lagos, traffic ( the real one called go slow) will drive you nuts if you drive a stick shift.

I was able to get a legit vendor from Facebook.
She sold 48000 per bundle (10 pieces).
Shirts are quite okay especially for the price.
Who needs can give me a mention.
PS
I didn't pay before delivery, I went to her physical store to inspect, pay and pickup.

Hi ser,
Visited the store today. Got some stuff there today. Thanks for the recommandation. Mine was 6k5 though ( I opted to select instead of just buying blindly) plus the materials differ hence the price I think. Asked randomly at stores in ipaja and was told 11k last so all in all, not a bad deal.
Thanks

Ayemileto:
My mum travelled back to Lagos yesterday to return both phones. The seller refused to refund her, and after many back and forth, he gave her new ones (He replaced only the phone, like, he took new phones from other cartons and gave it to her )

She mentioned a whole lot of resellers from different states are at the store to buy Redmi phones for selling, and they all gathered together to convince her nothing's wrong with the phones and I don't know what I'm saying. In fact, the seller called me, and after re-explaining the same message I've sent him on WhatsApp (which he ignored), he told me I'm saying nonsense .

The 2 new phones have the exact same issues as the previous ones. The bootloader of both is unlocked, which shows they are both compromised.

The guy decided to install and activate WhatsApp on one of the 2 new phones to show my mum it works, but I know he probably just applied a patch to trick WhatsApp, and the app will stop working in a few weeks after a few playstore/WhatsApp/Redmi OS updates.

Well, I'm planning to create a new thread to alert people to this fake Redmi phones in circulation. I also intend to write a mail to FCCPC, SON and Redmi alerting them to the issue of compromised phones being sold by these sellers.

Hopefully, the agencies I will write to will act.

I read your post and I'm scratching my head like I don't get it.... except the initial purchase was impromptu, if not, you did your mum a great deal of disservice by not accompanying her(seeing as you are knowledgeable about phones from your post) or at least advise that she purchase the devices at a nearby/ closer location.

The second trip to Lagos was even a greater disservice like, you noticed these things...no be you suppose go explain to the seller?

Good afternoon, chief.
Keep in mind that I didn't send any money before hand. I went to her store directly to inspect, pay and pick-up.

Thank you ser, i'll pay her a visit hopefully by the end of the week. Regards

Seriously o. As little as that is it's giving me doubts. It just seems like a shiny low quality material and I need premium in both specs and appearance. I hope I'm wrong.

You probably should avoid the 8, but who knows you might get lucky. Got one for wifey about a month and some days ago and it already has pink lines...started as one, I think it's about 4-5 lines now. I'd put pictures later. A little research and we probably would have avoided the 8

Stanbic is so full of themselves!
Customer service is very poor and complaints are hardly attended to
United Capital hasn't been too bad but I think thier rates aren't the best

If you think Stanbic has poor customer service, then you should try Fbnquest. I'm beginning to think it's a management policy for those ones not to give a damn

I have used this thing for over a year and I have friends who also use it. It's completely unlimited. Just like this MTN, you buy the speed

It's not truly unlimited in the sense of say Starlink or MTN fibrex. I can confirm to you that there's a FUP and once you hit it, your speed gets seriously throttled, you probably have not so your speed remains as advertised

Is it still worth recommending??

It's a legend indeed, recommending it? Maybe not. Seeing as you cannot get a brand new unit, it's best to explore options from Poco or Xiaomi. Redmi lineup has been meh IMO

Chevrolet076:
His price has to be lower compared to the new ones because he doesn't sell brand new. So why won't his price be lower? It doesn't necessarily mean it's a good deal as well.

Also, I've noticed that he deliberately goes to Jumia and post his items with much higher price like 150-200k difference compared to the ones he posts on Nairaland and he still quotes Jumia price as reference. Even quoting the highest price he could find online just to make his price looks like it's the best deal.

Ultimately it's a 2 way street, irrespective of whatever market or pricing tactics that he employs( as claimed) if you're not comfortable with it, you bargain responsibly( someone was pricing a Sony XM5 for 10k, like come on)or ignore and move on. A comparison of some of his items with other sellers on this platform would tell you his prices are very fair. No user has the right to tell another not to post somewhere, there are people who has that responsibility. Live and let live people
