I totally concur with the writer. Myself I've written some posts about this subject.

The root of the problem is the mindset we have as people pursuing master's degrees or PhDs. Most MSc/ PhD students not studying it for addition to knowledge or research interest—they just want it for the prestige and possibly workplace promotions. Since there's no interest, it's just more convenient for them to pawn it off to someone else who gets paid to do the hard work.

I'm a student of a Federal University. I'm supposed to be going into 200lvl once the strike is called off. Recently, I've had thoughts to retake jamb and get into another school(maybe private) because Its quite obvious that the school lacks some necessary equipments and I don't want to be a 'quack' engineer (I'm studying EEE).


Please I need help. Do you think I should continue or dump the school for another JAMB? No insults pls.
