The site now says it will resume 8:00 am on Wednesday, 28th Sept 2016. This is the 6th time (since Sayurday) they are failing to deliver on the time they themselves publish as the resumption of the sites activities.

This is an utter embarrassment to whoever is incharge of this recruitment. But then again, it is our beloved NAIJA we are talking about.

It shall be well.....

I also applied for System analyst. System analysts were interviewed today(Saturday) at d UDUS PG School.
Nobody was called for d interview.They pasted the list on the same wall where they pasted our seat numbers at the Convocation Ground. The list(science and art based) and schedule(Interview days n Venue ) were also posted on their website www.udusok.edu.ng

Thanks for the info bro! I'm still in Sokoto but I had no idea! I hope I am not too late! What was the nature of the interview please??

I applied for System Analyst/System Programmer. My name is on the last page of the interview shortlist (page 13) with no job title listed. This maybe due to the fact that my answer sheet during the test was printed halfway and so I had to be given a supplementary sheet to answer on. Pls was anyone here contacted or asked to come for the interview?

Pls I have seen my name in the posted list.
The text message we received prior the test stated that interviews will commence from the 4th May,
Does anyone have any info as par the new date of the interview?

Hello house!

Like everyone on here I have been praying and waiting patiently for my appointment letter after the exam on Feb 15th, 2014 and the subsequent deployment text(s) and confirmation call(s) by G-invest.

Now, I have been very optimistic and patient about this G-invest thing because I know these types of processes usually take time but I need to draw the house's attention to something that bothers me. Like most of us on here, I do not know the parastatal I am deployed to, only state.

I decided to push through my contacts at FMTI to figure out if I can find out what was the hold up. At the time, I was told G-invest were contracted by the Deputy Director Human Resources and Personnel and that all sorting of applicants (Us) was carried out under his office. I eventually got an audience with him with the help of my contact of course and he told me that the exercise was paused because of some budget reasons by the parastatals and that as soon as FG releases the budget we will get our letters. This was back in September 2014. As time passes I pushed my contact to help me secure a good deployment (I wanted SON so much). He was told that SON does not have an office in my state of deployment (Sokoto) and that I should choose between ITF and CAC instead. Naturally, I happily opted to be short listed for CAC. This was in early November 2014.

When subsequent efforts to make further enquiries to my contact fail, I contacted a friend that works at CAC in Abuja to find out anything he could for me, what he found out shocked and confused me; he works in the RG's office (Registrar General) and he was able to ask the 'Oga at the Top' about anything he has heard about G-invest or recruits from FMTI and the RG vehemently denied ever hearing of a recruitment body by that name and pointed that his Corporation hasn't recruited any staff in a while an don't plan on doing so anytime soon. Moreover he (the RG) pointed out that the Ministry's parastatals are totally independent and have NEVER relied on the ministry to recruit any staff!

Now this was a shocking realisation to me because there no reason whatsoever for my friend or the RG for that matter to lie. I thought it to be nothing but the simple truth; if any parastatal or Org is recruiting, the head of the organisation ought to know something about it; this particular RG had NO idea!

I don't know what is going on to be honest, but if you read my story carefully there is cause for concern. I can no longer tell what is real or scam in all this! I try to still be optimistic though!

I pray we all achieve our dream on this. Let me know what the house think about this.
