Free yourself from Western Hegemony. The West are the ones bullying Russia, President Putin is only telling them kill me or back off. As detrimental as what is happening in Ukraine may appear to be, deep down this is all Western fault. Let people live their lives and conduct their affairs how they see fit, they are not the world's adjudicator. Putin has no plan to invade Ukraine, they have been neighbors for 30 solid years.. the western countries and their pestilential policies pushed him. Why surround another man's country with threats and low key wanting to exploit every last drop of their natural resources. Western countries crave wars because they make a lot out of it, where as President Biden's speech earlier today even made the whole thing a propaganda about America sovereignty, citing how many jobs the US Economy have created for American people so and so forth, will that keep an average Ukrainian fearing for his or her life safe? President Zelinsky's calculation to join NATO was a big miscalculation. Ukraine made Russia an enemy the day they Paraded NATO forces in their country, now the country's facing the consequences of what could have been avoided simply by staying out of a war that has been on going for decades. Is Belarus stupid? Is Georgia Dumb? Is China delusional? This countries knows what western countries are all about. Any move they make is purely motivated by self interest clothed in the beautiful idea of keeping the world safe. President Zelinsky has allowed himself to be manipulated into an abyss of thinking he can take on Russia with western support. Europe's dependency on Russia's Oil is killing Europe and much so killing America as a whole in regards to the dominance they don't have over that market. They wanted to test Putin's patience, not realizing he's only been waiting for an excuse to unleash on their agendas. Debt is the new slavery, and who knows more about enslaving others than our beloveth western countries. Russia's not motivated by dominance, they are simply reacting in a defensive mode to the west. Will it be bad if the western countries keep their NATO, their missiles, satellites, agendas, and spies on their own end of their borders and not bother anyone else in the world with it? Bad as e bad, our own country and continent at large is still under their authoritarian rule. War is not a joke, America and the west should also consider deescalating their arsenals if they really have the world interest at heart.

War is War Boss, that's why it's called war. Isreal has been unleashing hell on Palestine for decades without thinking of consequences. United States is a world power but they are not the only major power. Ukraine will be ruins if Putin continues to have his ways. That's Putin, he's a born warrior. It’s really shame on VP Osinbajo not supporting Tinubu in a time he needs him the most. Politics or not, this a moral compass for aspiring leaders of tomorrow. Picking a side in the Russia - Ukraine faceoff for some Nigerian Nairaland self acclaimed analysts is a matter of emotions devoid of clearly worded objectivity.

For the Pro-West, Putin is a dictator and should be stopped at all cost. Most don’t even understand background nor ramifications of some actions and in actions of Ukraine and her western allies and supporters. They also forget easily about the cuban missile crisis and how US and her allies reacted.

For the Pro-Putin, The West are hypocrites with their continuous media propaganda. Some pro-Putin are also “haters” of the American system and people and so are happy for any possible destruction of the American people.

What both parties lack is objectivity to analyze the situation based on its own peculiar premises which will enable them to reach far reaching logical conclusions that the only people to suffer from the shenanigans of both the West and Putin are the innocent Ukrainian people who might not recover from the destruction this shameful show of power would cause.

No matter who’s right or wrong, the only results of war is destruction.

As detrimental as the situation may be. Ukraine should have known better. West’s determined to erase Soviet Union memories at all cost, Putin’s determined in keeping the memories alive. NATO has no business with Ukraine. Trade with them, introduce more prospective packages not building war zones to threaten Russia. Putin is defending what he’s appointed to defend, the absolute safety of Russian Territory. USA, UK, NATO and whole EU are not exactly friends of Kremlin. Why lurking around their borders
