Christianity EtcRe: Muhammed wasn't a good man by zenom: 11:11am On Jul 25, 2007
Thow shall not Judge!!! angry

The God I believe in fights for Himself.

Respect other peoples religion, would you be happy if people talked about Christ Jesus in the manner with which you have finished Mohamed.

Your tongue is too quick.
Preach the word if you want , most of all preach LOVE, thats what Jesus preached most.

As a Christian, you have not shown a single sign of love to unbelievers who are going through this thread,
instead you have behaved shamefully with HATE! angry
BusinessRe: Ethanol Fuel As An Alternative To Fossil Fuel - Petrol by zenom: 10:52am On Jul 25, 2007
Seun:
I think it's utter silliness for an oil and gas and sunlight rich country like Nigeria to be considering ethanol. lipsrsealed
Why shouldn't we have an alternative to this oil and gas, Naija cannot live by fuel alone.

Besides fuel is hazardous to our environment.

The idea of maize is odd sha, its a main dish in naija, and its still not enough grin grin how we go do amhuh

Would be nice to have an alternative to fuel.

RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Apparently Wants To Marry This Other Girl by zenom: 10:36am On Jul 25, 2007
Leave him and don't let the idea of green card and schooling in the US fool you.

Dont bother playing games, life is too short for pranks, move on your still very young, why are you bent on marrying now?

Besides if you check well you'll find out that he has probably been with the other girl for years, like he says you are a crush. The other girl has probably been through thick and think with him, maybe thats why she say she will always be faithful.

Believe it girl your a sidekick to him.
Time to gather yourself and move on.
Try having some fun and get the idea of marriage out of your system for now.
PoliticsRe: A Sweet Wind Of Change Is Blowing In Nigeria! by zenom: 10:25am On Jul 25, 2007
I think people should start having positive thoughts about Naija. Hate or not you are Naija by blood, the sooner you accept it the better.
We have to start from somewhere, YES, we are way behind but there is definitely a wind of change.

The Governors my not be sentenced, fine, but never has it been heard that an ex-governor is being probed.

They couldn't possibly try it during the military regime, heads will roll!! angry angry
Abeg Naija is getting better slowly but surely.

Things are booming look at the music industry, movies, fashion, banks, telecoms, manufacturing, there are more small business now than ever in naija.

Fine poverty level is still high but my people things are changing accept it. cheesy grin

CareerRe: I’m Leaving My Job To Go Back To School: by zenom: 8:59am On Jul 25, 2007
"IF THEY DO IT IS WEEK DAYS AND HOW WILL I COPE IS THE QUESTION."

In LASU Part-time its weekdays and weekends, there is afternoon and evening session.
I'm in evening because i have to go to work, so my classes are from 5.30 to 9.30.
Its very stressful but its a sacrifice i'm willing to make. If you want part-time be ready to make sacrifice, in the long run it will benefit you.
Don't look at the present , look at the future, where you want to be, in years to come you cant earn that salary forever, its human nature, someday you'll want more than that. wink
CareerRe: I’m Leaving My Job To Go Back To School: by zenom: 8:49am On Jul 25, 2007
You need the DEGREE, not for a job but for yourself for your confidence, for your future.

I was in ABU for six years, wasted time struggling with medicine; i failed woefully, which i'm not ashamed of because it has taught me to rise against all odds,

i dropped out, came back to lag, got a job paying 40k. i was threatened once by my boss and it got me thinking, if i get sacked whats next, you know how hard it is to get a job, i have a business plan but i'm still saving for it. In the mean time i decided to do something about my education.

I am presently a 100level student in LASU part-time.

I don't feel embarrassed to be amongst very young chaps, (not like i'm that old) now i know what i want to study, not for another job, but for myself and for my future business.
I work in the day time ,go to school in the evenings, its hectic, but worth it,you have nothing to loose,
except no time to catch trips grin grin which you can do without if you mean business.

You should go back to school not because people think you should but because you want to.

Try part-time!!

Wish you all the best grin grin

FamilyRe: Can A Woman Steal From Her Husband? by zenom: 9:34am On Mar 09, 2007
Yes a woman can steal from her husband, if it were not stealing she'd simply tell him after taking it after all whats his is hers. I think we should be open about it then its not stealing.
