hi Nairaland users, u can still try and try again because i only tried mine once and it went through and few seconds later they repliued saying "Thanks 4 your sms.your application is being processed.if your profile matches the requirements,you will be contacted.MacTay consulting".
Then let me also tell you that a friend of mine just applied some few months back through this consiultng firm ,then weeks later she was called at mtn.And 2day she is happilly working in their customer care dept.(MTN)

I have sent a text using the exact format, a reply was sent to me saying

"GTS-Infotel> the premium SMS service you are trying to access via the short code 35811 does not exist. Please check the key word/shortcode."

They still deducted my 100 naira, i tried sending it a second time with the assumption that i probably made a mistake, the same reply was sent and another 100naira deducted from my account.

Has anyone been able to send the text successfully?

Recently,I got a job as a call center agent with MTN( a contract positon).Infact, 60% of people working with MTN are on contract.I was offered 50k for permanent day with 6k load of credit(recharge card) or 75k permanent night with also 6k credit.INDEX CONSULTING based in Suru-Lere recruited me.I although didn't take the offer because I got offers from FCMB and NNPC.

I wonder why its being popularized as yoruba tribal marks.

Its done in almost every tribe in Nigeria for completely different reasons.

Fulani's, tiv, jukun, igbo, yoruba, hausa almost all the tribes have them.

The only tribe i'm yet to see with a tribal mark are the calabar and akwa-iboms, even those from Rivers have(ikwere).

Nevertheless i think it should be made illegal. If at the age of 18 you decide to have a tribal mark, then its up to the person, its very wrong giving a child marks.
