jamesversion:I am familiar with that judgement. Ozuboko is different from the other areas. Port Harcourt is owned basically by two ethnic groups in Rivers. Ikwere and Okrika. A smaller portion of the city is owned by other ethnic groups. |
01Deji:I live in Kuduru. Kuduru is the community at the back of Nigeria Law School, Bwari, FCT. If this can happen in the FCT, I wonder what is happening in other states up north. God help us all. This country is really a joke!! ![]() |
Totilopussylick:You think everything is a joke abi? Kuduru in Bwari and all other neighbouring communities around FCT are now tensed because of this incident, yet no military or police presence in the area |
01Deji:Images if the kidnappers or those kidnapped? |
Not less than 40 persons were kidnapped and five killed when bandits invaded Bwari area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja and two communities under Niger state. The two communities are Garam and Azu, in Tafa Local Government, Niger State. They are less than five minutes drive to Bwari. The bandits invaded Garam on Saturday, December 23, a border community with FCT and killed a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, while kidnapping 18 other persons. On Thursday December 28, bandits again invaded Kuduru, a community under Bwari, which shares a boundary with Garam, and kidnapped 18 persons and killed one. Also on Friday, December 29, bandits invaded Azu, killing three people and kidnapping eight others. A resident of Garam, who identified herself as Mrs. Juliana said the first house the bandits entered, they asked for the house of their target. She said: “The bandits entered a wrong house, kidnapped two boys who later led them to the house of their target. “When they got there, they kidnapped the entire family, but while leaving the house, they shot the man (their target), who is a pastor at the Redeemed Christians Church of God in the presence of his wife and their three children.” It was further gathered that when the wife realised that she left her six month old baby behind, she asked for permission of the bandits to go carry the baby, and she was followed back to the house by the only female among the bandits. |
