the Siena will have the edge in some aspects of acceleration, but the accord will ultimately be faster...what's the power to weight ratio of both cars, that matters alot, drag coefficient and other factors would come to play.
reverse is the case bro the accord would accelerate faster but the sienna would be faster

I don't mean actual track racing, the kind of racing I mean is performance wise (you could actually think it is a small car but underneath is power).

I beg to differ on that sienna and accord. The accord is not a sport car, if you put the i4 accord and v6 sienna 2001 model together, the sienna will dust the accord, it has only 15xhp or less, torque is not that good and the RMP of the sienna is wider than the accord of that same year.

The golf will beat both cars because that engine configuration I guess is turbocharged also the GOLF is built for racing and performance every tom dick and harry knows that
put it like this the accord would accelerate and reach its top speed faster but when the sienna starts kicking, na dusting get the acCord

I personally avoid long comments on this thread because it is a photo thread, but I CANNOT overlook this so that somebody somewhere will not confuse Nigerians about the weapons we need in Boko Haram war and why we need them in large numbers.

ALL your arguments about Automatic Grenade Launchers and radio are very wrong in modern warfare, the British army learnt this lesson in Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
Correct your errors please.
Every Boko Haram or ISIS terrorist Platoon of 4 vehicles on attack mission have a 14.5mm or 23mm long range infantry weapon with 3km effective range.
How will a platoon of Nigeria army defend itself from the above with Browning gun 1.5km effective range?
COIN war is a game of infantry FIREPOWER and need to survive when insurgents suddenly appear from among civilians and heavily outnumber an army platoon, the only mass k.iller weapon option for the army is a 2km range Automatic Grenade Launcher that can k.ill or injure 5 enemies at a time or knock out enemy Toyota 4x4 AAA gun truck with one direct shot on target.

Also, AGL is a secondary role 40mm mortar weapon for area denial or area FIREPOWER against a spread out enemy that outnumbers the army.

COIN war is NOT same as conventional war, experience has taught Nigeria big lessons, every 12 soldiers need a MGL, every 40 soldiers need an AGL, or else surprise swarms of Boko Haram Toyota Technicals with twin 14.5mm or 23mm heavy guns mounted on trucks will wipe out an army platoon in a matter of minutes !

An army of 40 soldiers platoon will have about 4 vehicles and can mount 3 with Browning or DshK machine guns and the last 1 vehicle with Automatic Grenade Launcher.

Army platoon of 40 men defending a location or area can fortify with sandbags and mount a tripod stand Automatic Grenade Launcher to knock out approaching enemy invasion vehicles from 2km away.

The army platoon of 40 men can also dig in trench and use their Automatic Grenade Launcher as a mini- Mortar by elevating the barrel and rain high explosives on an area to deny enemy access.

==============================================================================

"The Personal Role Radio (PRR) is a small transmitter-receiver that allows infantry soldiers to communicate over short distances.

PRR is issued to every member of an eight-strong infantry section"

There's no such thing as a V4 and all those comparison are based on stock cars.

Yes we do.
You know, for someone who is going to "learn" us things, you shouldn't be asking these question o.
Lotus Espirit
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
Subaru Impreza WRX STi
Any of the 4 cylinder jobs above will beat the V6 below to an inch of their lives
Pontiac Firebird
Chevrolet Camaro
Ford Mustang
First off, am not ''teaching'' as I know you implied but trying to ''acquire'' info and concerning those v4s you mentioned my guess s they have been heavily modified because unless the drivers of the camaro or mustang are pu55ies undecided undecided, i dont see how the evolution would beat them.
greenhulk:
So I guess a Toyota sienna is a high performance car?
its not a performace car but can be fine tuned into one and stop trying to twist my word, you know what i mean by HIGH PERFORMANCE CARS cheers!!!

CityNG: Oga Siena, I thought S8 is a high performance sports sedan? grin

OP, give us examples o fwhat you mean since I think we're mostly confused still.

Is Corvette in, any AMG sedan out, the elusive Charger/Challenger is that out? I mean it has a HEMI, allegedly? grin
anything sporting Λ v6 engine upwards that's what I mean or do we have any 4cylinder high performance vehicle? And why siena like dey tackle me?
Car Talk / Re: High performance Cars info Zone by ZeusAyo: 11:12pm On Sep 09, 2014
Siena:

That's a rather vague, and dare I say evasive response. An Audi S8 Quattro is a high-performance car. Does that make it a Sports Car?

Unless you're not sure yourself?
that's ץ I changed it to "high performance cars"

domack99: Hello House, just want to find out if their could be negative effect by raising the base of a car away from the ground. And what exactly do you adjust when raising the base and is their any alternative means or is their any car that cannot be raise or not advise to raise.
your comments and advice will be helpful
its Λ very DA ‎ה GEROUS practice; raising Λ car'S base alters the car centre of gravity wich causes disbalance(cross wind) whose effects come into play when you start exceeding 60mph. That's why you see suvs flipping over when they reach certain speeds

MikeZA: Impractical. The SA is still developing the technology other countries too, sensors to track movement of each and every soldiers. But many armies still lack MIL-STD data links and the software. Sensors can be installed on helmets or worn on writs.
so now let's say mike is drifting away from the main unit and straying into an ambush, although he has Λ gps tracker on his wrist, how would his commander be able to re route him if he doesn't have his own personall radio?

Thread for potential buyers of sports /high performance cars to ask about price, pictures and specs of his or her respective car brand. Auto dealers are highly welcome! By the way, "trolls" are not allowed
Foreign Affairs / Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by ZeusAyo: 8:15pm On Sep 09, 2014
MikeZA: Nope. If a platoon needed such capability it can be attached to the platoon from support units,if it was standardised in the army. Some people go as far as demanding each soldier should have a radio, whom is he going to call? The section leader?
each soldier equiped with Λ radio improves situational awareness and improves how easily the entire army can manouver without leaving someone behind
Foreign Affairs / Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by ZeusAyo: 3:08pm On Sep 09, 2014
MikeZA: every Platoon? Totally unnecessary.
if this was Λ south african war, am sure you would equip every soldier with one. The only language insurgents understand is force. If you want to force your enemy to the negociation table, you have to first drench him in fire that way, common sense requires that you negotiate to avoid total annihilation

I saw this car in PH with one young man ,precisely in UNIPORT, maybe coming to check out some chick, so i alighted my clean c class and complimented him ,he felt impress and gave me the ear, sensing from where am coming from after seeing my neat MB . When i started asking him how he was able to keep such ride over here , he confess to me that the ride is actually his Brother's who stays overs and comes ones in a while , that what he does is only to change oil as at when due , if he has a electrical issue that any good technician can handle it. Also, that the car doesn't give issues but performance.

It is just virtual racing o abeg, until get mad and decide to challenge someone just for fun.

Denn how long o you think you can block a 4x4 offroader with enough horse power to burn the road. Even you cannot block the road or lane forever, while that outdated sport trac with rancho diaper absorber is still trying to stabilize itself on the road, my 3.5L v6 270hp 4x4 off and on road 4 wheel drive infiniti Qx4 has dashed off at a whooping 210km/h leaving the jaws of my contenders dropping with invite from house flies.

Dear Ayo,

I know you don't want to come to lagos. There is nothing worse in battle than an assured defeat.

@nurey, please ask your mechanic if you can combine the infiniti and sienna together (just like rice and beans). You can also do photocopies and add... You will still come last. Abi what will you call a racer who manages to reach shagamu interchange when we are about returning from the ibadan lap?

As for Mrs sewing machine ride, it's faster if you join a public bus from berger.
