Namaster:

You sound like an IDIOT that doesn't live in Nigeria.

The protests would require the presence of police and the Military.

One of either the protesters or the security agents would taunt the other. Inevitably leading to a shooting. The result of which would be a massacre of the protesters or a mobbing and a discharge of jungle justice on security operatives.

Either way, the results would be DISASTROUS! But that would have been a justifiable risk for a protest with a HOMOGENEOUS goal. Not the scattergun approach that Sowore is taking to the upcoming one.

If you must risk your life, do it for a SENSIBLE goal. Not a POINTLESS protest.

If the FG is this repressive the more reason for the protest......GEJ has shown us the ideal expectation for any FG response to protests

Do you know the meaning of rage in the days of Rage or whatever Sowore calls it lol?
You can see there is violent and uncontrollable in the definition.

So it basically means days of violent uncontrollable anger.
Civil disobedience is borne of and is a bonafide display of rage.
Protest is civil disobedience.

Contextually speak.
Don't confuse yourself

You are the one talking gibberish, infact balderdash. Did GEJ resign during the occupy Nigeria protests? So after losing an election, we should be praising GEJ for handing over as he is expected to? Something is wrong with your head. I thought I was conversing with a human.

Gej never rigged any election. Gej loved Nigeria and her citizens he said "My ambition is not worth a drop of the blood of any Nigerian"
Can u say the same for any Government? You think u know but ur are short sighted.

All African leaders are sit tight and protests have never worked. Please don't mention Libya because we all know what transpired and the state that country is right now.

Can't we try new and productive methods of engaging the government? Even in Bangladesh, protest is not working, young people are just losing their lives.

Trash......you maybe sit tight and corrupt but not all of us are.....GEJ demonstrated this and the likes of you called him weak.... Evil men must be removed from leadership for the sake of tomorrow.

Op has absolutely zero intelligence. Why not ask FG to quickly start implementing tangible policy changes before the 1 of August to appear to love the people? If their greed will allow them.

Well said. Despite the chaos and destruction of lives/properties in Kenya, Ruto has not stepped down. Let them keep expecting that the leadership of the country will fold their hands and watch people cause mayhem.

Anybody that dies in the protest have died a useless death. Same way no one will remember those who died in Kenya.

In 2024, dialogue will always produce better results than needless protests.

A true leader who loves his country would have stepped down by now,
this just goes to show that the people of Kenya are correct to insist that ruto who is a sit tight self serving leader must leave.

Kenya's future will be the better for it. Evil can only hold on for so long.
Politics / Re: Just In Case You Happened To Die In This Needless Protest by zeuss: 1:30pm On Jul 25
You must protest because if you don't protest peacefully this is what will happen.

1. You and your family members will be killed by hunger that is ravaging us now in this country as a result of the colossal corruption, bad policies ,ineptitude and what's of all evil selfishness of the so called heads and parts of federal government. you must protest for a change to present... A change that would bring life for you because as things are now you are dying along with your future.

2. You and your family members will be killed or displaced by herdsmen as the government will do absolutely nothing to bring perpetrators of mass murder to book . Lives are lost in their hundreds on a daily basis and not once do we hear of a herdsman being apprehended by any of all the security operatives we have harassing innocent youths all this evil must stop.

As it is all Nigerians are endangered, this peacefull protest will serve to liberate and present us with the opportunity to be alive because as it is that is only a second away.

The first time wey this man go support Tinubu or call for his support, na that day dem go remind am everything about him tribe

Hypocritical lots

As for us, we dont live to impress those with irregular geometric head from saturn. We give it to them hot hot

Like the FG u don't have any sense .

If the this government loved the people they have had ample time, for more than one month they have been trying to convince youths not to protest, more than one month all this time would have been enough for them to begin to implement measures that would make life comfortable for the citizenry and give hope of a better future to those that want to protest, for instance tinubu could have and still can reduced the salaries of the legislative, he could have and can still throw open the borders for food to come in, cheap food so Nigerians can have an option because as it is Nigeria farmers (North) those able to brave the menace of herdsmen are taking Nigerians to the cleaners and making life unbearable. Desperate times call for desperate measures they must be ready to discard certain unnecessary policies to allow the survival of the people in a free market environment, by this I am speaking to the policy of not allowing agricultural produce to be imported into the country so that the local farmers who are killing other Nigerians with high cost can survive and thrive for instance tomatoes, rice and other staple food including meat sell for a fraction of the cost of what attracts in Nigeria in Benin Republic and Cameroon which are neighboring countries .
Insecurity is being playfully tackled with kids gloves, the government has no desire to secure the lives of helpless Nigerians if they are not ready to provide the security the citizen need then they have to allow the citizenry bear arms and protect themselves rather than be sitting ducks for herds men and bandits who commit mass murder and kidnappings even as the police are not ready to even investigate not to mention prosecute.

Slowly Nigerians are dying and only the living will see tomorrow so we need to make sure that tomorrow will come to us protesting ill treatment is a very clear path to this end.
