DomPerignon: I believe the best state policing outfits with respect to upholding dignity and human rights will be in the NW.
The worst will be from the SE.
I base this on current state backed vigilante activities with the north having hardly any complaints surrounding their vigilantes.
The SE vigilante outfits are more criminal than the criminals they are expected to check and have been known to terrorise and extort the very people they are meant to secure.
From the most dreaded and barbaric Bakasi Boys whose atrocities include public executions by butchering to the current regional outfit Ebube Agwu who were no different than Bakassi boys. Even ESN an BLA who claimed to protecting the people of SE from their usual Fulani jihadist bogeyman have committed more brutal and vicious crimes on their own people than any Fulani terrorist .
Even the NPF in the SE is by far the most brutal with the likes of James Nwafor.
If this state policing comes about, I make bold to say that the SE will be far the worse off. if here will be anything left in the SW by then,,,large swats of kwara lie abandoned by Yoruba and taken over by genocidal Fulani interest, kogi is going and test runs are happening in Oyo state yet bigots have the luxury to bicker on the SE? SHAME!!! |

By epainos: How do you mean I am better than whoever you mentioned? I am a neutral person, and I analyse based on what's on ground. My view hasn't change and that is: None of these politicians can save Nigeria, but I know Tinubu is the brightest one among them all for now (with the exception of Osinbajo...just that he is has no sense thevway he handled the last issue contesting with the one who put him out there...sense no dey there). Obi is the worst...and Atiku has nothing to offer. If this is what you want to hear.
And again..Nigerian presidents will be rotated among: the north, yoruba and SS. SE will not smell it cos they won't allow it.
Goodluck with your view, and stop comparing me with anyone. My posts are my initiatives. the moment Trump mentions Biafra u will realize that destinies are not the same. Very soon. |

epainos: The president seems clueless like Buhari. Lol. It's cos their analog brians no dey work again in this era. Assuming these guys understand data and predictive analytics, AI, blockchain and other tech, no one can easily deceive or mamipulate them. Buhari went with the old analog brain to gather together people who are smart to employ young guy with innovative brain to manipulate him. But Buhari no get brain to employ the right people, and he doesn't trust anyone except Kyari and that his nephew who is older than him. Lol. Those ones too...na God knows dem mind.
Tinubu is on the same path. I believe Dangote is someone who can help. Also, Fashola can help here. And I believe Osinbajo too. But Tinubu has made enemies out of these people, and he not want to gice Dangote more power esp politically. Quite unwise if you ask me. Lol. So, he is also using his analog brain, and failure is knocking at his door.
Mainwhile Seyi Tinubu can buy innovative guys (na buy dem dey buy), but I believe that one is about his gubrrnatorial ambition. Lol.
You guys should stop disturbing our peace na. If you can't easily see that there is no hope for you in Aso Rock....goodluck to you. This thing is between the north, yoruba and SS. The earlier you accept this and plan to part ways with Naija peacefully, the better for you. Not that kin Nnamdi Kanu gra gra and violent way. Nothing dey for you in this present Naija. Wake up! And if you leave, you will be progressive cos you are free from those Islamic people. Na dem be the real backwardness. Otherwise dem go just dey use you continue. And las las, dem go dump you when they have finished you. You better get it right, leave now using the most effective and accepted way. at the least u r better that the likes image123 who lie to themselves and others about the nepotism in this govt,. But SS where? Change is coming sooner than you think . |

And how good is TCL product? Don't buy any of them,, they are over priced and once the wahala starts it can be very difficult to fix effectively. Buy a very good HD normal tv for a lot less and buy an android dongle from Airtel 25k this will make your TV an android tv for less and more reliable for the long run. FYI Android tv is beta than smart by a mile |

Why can't VDM use from his organization money to balance the kidnappers at least for the husband to be released and then exposed Harrison later with evidence.
The husband is yet to be released, the kidnappers have stopped communicating look at the nonsense u r postulating in a country where we have a police force and DSS. Shame on you and ur government ! |

Igirigimercenar: Tinubu is really dealing with the Hausa-fulanis north in the most brutal way. I am kinda enjoying the whole debacle. He is now sowing division among the monolith north all in the name to win the middle belt in the 2027 general election having seen that the core north will not vote for him
This yoruba vs north fight will be interesting to watch The core north can vote for him if he deliberately liberates and sponsors the hausa majority to aspire to self leadership position and relegates the fulani minority to their bluff. The British style indirect rule is with has retained the fulani in power to this day |
Politics › Re: How Tinubu Is Undermining Northern Political Dominance In Nigeria by zeuss: 6:09pm On Dec 11, 2025*. Modified: 2:41am On Dec 12, 2025 |
Tinubu should just liberate and sponsor real hausa indigenes in all the states of the North they have the population and he will lock his grip for eternity. Using the fulani for indirect rule like the British only give them power that can be deployed to frustrate his government. |

casualobserver: I am not an advocate of Sharia law. The reason I post is the repeated failure to respect other people’s culture and values by a certain group of people.
We are a country of people with different values, cultures and religions. People should learn to respect other people’s culture and values.
We are a federation. Please educate yourselves. In a federation laws will differ from unit to unit based on the relevant society. It is not the business of a non Kano indigine to protest the laws of Kano state. If you don’t like it don’t live there and if you must go there on business I am sure you can endure lack of alchohol for a little while.
If it works for them good for them, if not they will modify their laws themselves. A Muslim man from Kano will not tell the people of Anambra to ban sale of pork or alchohol if he believes in sharia. If he has business in Anambra he will endure, respect his hosts, conduct his business and go home.
It’s always some people trying to force their ways on others.
And to those who keep shouting secular secular. Secular simply means their is no national religion What will you say if all cows are killed in the south because cows destroy crops and people get murdered and kidnapped? |

casualobserver: And maybe we should list the Christian zone that where terrorists have killed 30,000 people.
Point is mind your business. Fix your zone and you won’t care what others are doing in their zone.
Some people are the ones contributing the most vat, some are the ones contributing the most forex, some the most crude but it’s always those leeching and contributing nothing bit killing people with fake drugs, fake everything, just yesterday I saw a video about fake Fufu, who cannot stay in their own house because they keep fighting themselves that always have a problems with their neighbors affairs.
There is nothing wrong with a ban on alchohol. Iceland, Finland, Norway, Russia and even the USA have at one time banned alcohol. None is a Muslim society. Every society has a right to act in what it deems to be the in public good as defined by its Perculiar situation. When I was a student in the UK you couldn’t buy alchohol after midnight or or sundays.
Finally, we would be a better country if we were more tolerant and sensitive to our differences. We have Sunday to worship, Muslims have to go to work on their day or worship. The entire school calendar is designed around Christian holidays. Do you hear them complain? Can we just allow them to have their sharia that does not apply to Christians? Must we challenge everything? Muslim brethren that is neck deep in the religion... U can tell them from a mile away. Don't worry all the anomaly In Nigeria will be fixed. USA on my mind |
Politics › Re: Kano Hisbah Islamic Police To Destroy Trucks Loaded With 4,920 Bottles Of Beer by zeuss: 5:19pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
nairalanda1: True federalism. As you can see states are setting up forest guards to end grazing on farmer's farms and not just in southern states.
Plus at the end fulanis will wake up and realize that the era of wandering around with cow is over. Plus when government does more and more of railways na how we go transport cow. When our railways were working that was already happening.
If you don't want to move to Kano, don't move there. Sacrifice the alcohol if you do. After all hisbah is not destroying churches or preventing christians from practice of their religion You are very loud but You are not making logical sense |

Politics › Re: Kano Hisbah Islamic Police To Destroy Trucks Loaded With 4,920 Bottles Of Beer by zeuss: 5:11pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
nairalanda1: No, it is true federalism in action.
Every state has the rights to set state law.
Many of you don't understand true federalism. You think it is all about resource control. It isn't
Just as a Muslim doesn't have the right to damage beer bottles in the south east, so also a Christian does not have the right to object
Drinking beer is not a Christian value anyway. Waste of money and damages the liver
Plus in America that you admire, there are dry counties there. No alcohol
Anyway, one is free to move from Kano to a place where they don't destroy a man's business. Simple and short. I don't know why someone would be crazy enough to set up alcohol drinks business there especially since we know hisbah has been doing this for over 2 decades your thoughts r not making sense what will you say if the South decides to kill all cows roaming in the south because they bring death and destruction with them? |
Politics › Re: Kano Hisbah Islamic Police To Destroy Trucks Loaded With 4,920 Bottles Of Beer by zeuss: 5:09pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
casualobserver: Why are you selling alcohol when the state has banned it? Lagos passed a law that you can’t smoke in enclosed buildings did you protest that?
The right that Lagos has in banning smoking that is same as the right that Kano has to ban alchohol.
Many of you need better civic education. It is clear you don’t know what Sub-National federating units imply. Smoking in public constitutes in nuisance to others but you can smoke in the comfort of your home or in a private space that allows it,, Kano house door right to refuse the sales of alcohol within the Nigerian territory since there are people who consume that find themselves officially posted to Kano for one reason or the other, you don't expect them to drop their drink habits because of a posting within Nigeria and mind you kano get the Lion share of the tax that breweries pay to FG |

This is the type of scenario that demands Federal government attention, where a legitimate taxed business is being destroyed but of course tinubu will not say a word but when it comes to genocidal fulanis who are kidnapping and killing people up and down they will be creating reserves for their private business Enterprise giving land freely to them and their cows that herald death and kidnapping |

anonimi: Is it about tribe?
Or is it about the socioeconomic orientation of the person and party It is about government not interfering in private business of any ethnic group. It does not make sense that government puts in is own resources to a private business that does not pay any form of tax. While Yoruba farmers and amala and ewedu sellers are allowed to suffer and strive on their own steam, is it because the Yoruba amala and ewedu seller do not go about killing others that government does not see the importance in providing them with ewedu reserves and canteens? |
