Dear Fellow Nairalander, Gooday/night all. I need the best advice ever from you guys. Currently, I am a school drop out with no degree, with the boom in the IT sector worldwide and in Nigeria, I intend acquiring a technical skill on networking, afterwards enroll for the CCNA certification exam. What is the Futures prospects in terms of jobs in me acquiring the networking skills remember no degree, can I get a job as a networking Engr with no degree? At this point in my life any margin of error will have adverse effect on me, in my early 30s. Any other suggestions will be welcomed. Thanks, as I anticipate your kind advices. Dear friends on this forum, im dying slowly inside. Im having chronic new success syndrome. Pisgah: 1) seeing your blessings but finding it difficult to enjoy them. 2)is the spirit that causes unpardonable error at crucial moments in life. 2)is a spirit that pitches a man against his maker who is God. 3)is a place that denies a man of reaping the fruit of his labour which is hard work. 4)is a place that monitors a man’s progress. Hello all. My younger brother is 17yr old and resides in Port Harcourt, he is a sharp left footer and can dribble well. He wants to join a football academy to pursue a career in football. But the problem now is my father who have vowed that he must go to university. He is forcing him to register for NIN and jamb. I have said everything to convince him. What do we do. |

Dear all, I Am contemplating suicide, I have done everything humanly possible to be like others. I have started a business it failed, to conclude my studies it's being one Missing script to another, graduating is a problem. I am even scared to push through in many of my plans because of the fear of having same experience. What can I do Guys? I am dying slowly. |

Hi everyone, we all know how things are now in this country, no job. I got a truck driving job in New Zealand, the company said I must provide a verifiable driver license to prove that I have five years experience. I have finished the training as a truck driver. If I apply for a truck driver license here in Nigeria, can i also get a back dated license proving that I have five years experience. Thanks, for ur replies |

I got a truck driving job in New Zealand, the company said I must provide a verifiable driver license to prove that I have five years experience. I have finished the training as a truck driver. Nowadays, people want the Nigerian youth to be many things at once and yet will not allow them to be any at all this is the case in River State Nigeria In the year 2012/2013, some set of Rivers youth who are of rivers indigene were awarded scholarship by the rssda, an agency that was set up by Rivers state Govt to carry out intervention programs in the state and budgetary allocation running up 10 billion are been provided yearly for the agency. student especially of rivers indigene are been subjected to both written and oral interview for scholarship by the agency, some awardees of the scholarship scheme were sent to Lagos,Kwara,Port Harcourt and Calarbar for A LEVEL program in schools such as Chrisland college, Cambridge college, Edwod colledge, Global college and Supreme college, Access college,Adeyemi college, Madonna college. Upon completion of the ALEVEL program in the country few travelled, while a good number of the scholar who has secured admission in the uk,usa,hungary and Germany are wasting at home after relinquishing their studies in Nigerian university,some were in level 100,200,and 300 respectively and did not differ their admission. In 2013/2014 another set was sent to A level school again after being awarded scholarship and are now stranded at home doing nothing after leaving their studies in Nigeria, it should be noted that 10 b was been budgeted yearly. Our source a Niger delta activist who was at the national conference said that Upon hearing this, that president Jonathan has intensify effort to get the names of the abandoned scholar to integrate them into the FG scholarship by January admission, a reliable source from the presidency who claimed anonymity also said the move is part of the calculation for 2015 election to gain more support from rivers people and to use it to campaign against Gov Rotimi Amaechi who has been saying that president Jonathan is not doing anything for rivers state,effort to reach one noble pepple and one omuko at NO 1igbodo street GRA the said rssda in port Harcourt,to ask if what the the activist said was factual proved abortive. |
