I think you're going have to fund that with your own $ which you have to get from the black market.

I advise you stick to your naira card.

Try a stanbic mastercard if you're looking for cheap rate. StanbicBank stI'll charges #280/$

Thanks for your input. I thought as much. My only issues with the naira cards is the the transaction limits. I have payments to make over $300.

You don't need to have an account with first Bank to obtain this card. Just go to any first Bank beach and make your request.

Email is free like bigtt76 said. I think you can disable the SMS alert (for credit and debit), but you may be charged for the SMS for OTP (i.e the codes sent to you when you want to make an online payment).

Best to confirm from your bank nonetheless.

GENS = GTBank Electronic Notification Service.

That charge covers all the SMS Alerts you've been receiving for that period.
