Fashion / Makeup Hacks Every Woman Must Know by Zobamzobs: 8:38pm On May 29, 2018
MAKEUP HACKS YOU SHOULD KNOW 2.0
I shared some makeup hacks some time ago and I noticed a lot of people liked the post so I decided to come up with more. I may update this from time to time when I come across more makeup hacks that will be useful to you.

SYNTHETIC LASHES TO MINK LASHES
Sounds like magic right? LOL This hack took social media by storm; I was surprised when I watched the video clip.  Trust the YouTube beauty gurus already tried to debunk the hack. Some didn’t achieve the effect while some did. So I am going to share a video I watched that was successful.

Those that are anti-animal cruelty were excited, for one mink would be left alone but I don’t think that would work anyways.

HOW TO DO:
You would need a spooly or mascara wand and does cheap lashes that look very plastic. Then use your wand to brush vigorously from left to right following the lash’s curve. Brush from the roots upwards.

You can also try from beneath the lash upwards; you loosen up the hairs from the starch that was used to keep everything in place. Will you be trying this makeup hack out?

Fashion / How To Style An Over-sized Shirt In Two Ways And Be Very Comfy (mom Blogger) by Zobamzobs: 4:43pm On Nov 27, 2017
Today I would be sharing few tips on how to feel comfortable in your own skin. I may sound like a broken record but with the type of pictures and sometimes fake lifestyle that is dished out on social media, we loose focus of what is actually important.

So, the tips i would be sharing are in no particular …

WHO ARE YOU?

This is a question you have to ask yourself constantly. You would be wondering why, right? I mean who doesn’t know who he or she is… everyone does. But some don’t.

Who are you?

How much worth do you accord yourself?

Are you trying hard to be like someone else without even knowing?

Well, depending on your answers you may have to go back to the drawing board or stick to what you are doing, that is if you are true to yourself.

Family / Re: The Family Section Fun Room!! by Zobamzobs: 1:56pm On Nov 21, 2017
[quote] Generally, I feel everyone is broken. Even a shrink is broken too. We all have missing bricks in our walls. The Nigerian society is structured in a way that most times the parents are less concerned about the emotional/ mental health of their children.

Once a parent or both parents as the case maybe, can provide a child with food and Christmas cloths at the end of the year, decent education, a roof over their head, everything is alright because your grandparents couldn’t afford that for them. You as a child is expected to be the Champion in all subjects, wash all washables in the house, come first in your class because that child that comes first doesn’t have two heads.

My question is why should the ways of our grand or great-grand parents be used as a yard stick? Don’t you think it is quite limiting? Why haven’t you as a parent compared the relationship you had with your parents with the one you have with your child presently? Why do you subconsciously strive so hard not be like your dad or mum in certain aspects?

You see, there are a lot of things we need to ask ourselves as care givers. We also need to be aware of what comes out of our mouths no matter how small our children are. They hear everything we say to them. READ MORE
