Handling Process
Since the DCC was flowing through HW-ECC protocol we could not make E and F visible. Now we give IP in A,BC,D,E,F in such a way that the IP of A becomes the gateway of B, IP of B becomes the gateway of C and so on.
Then we try to search for E and F and easily got E and F visible in NMS.

COMMUN_FAIL and BD_STATUS alarms reported on main and extended subrack due to a locked AUX board.
Issue Description:
Over an Huawei OSN 3500 that have extended subrack, Alarms of BD_STATUS appear over the boards(PQ1, XCE, PIU and FAN) of the extended subrack, and COMMUN_FAIL(SXCSB, SL64,EFS0,EGS4,SLQ16) over the main.
Root Cause:
In cases like this, the most probable cause of this problem is the Huawei AUX board. It was necessary to check if was the AUX of the main or the Extended Subrack.The AUX board is take as the main point of failure in this case because it realizes communication between boards in the subrack.

Issue Description
Change the running Huawei OSN 3500 from a main subrack into an extended subrack. Mount the extended subrack to a newly created Huawei OSN 3500. Query the physical slots of the extended subrack. It is found that the boards in the extended subrack fail to be displayed and that the tributary boards in the extended subrack are displayed as off-service on the T2000.

Handling Process
1.Check the connection between the main subrack and the extended subrack. It is found that the connection is normal.
2.Perform warm reset on the Huawei SCC board and the Huawei AUX boards in the main subrack and in the extended subrack. It is found that the problem persists.
3.Remove the off-service boards and then insert the boards back to force the boards to perform cold reset. Then, the boards obtain the new slot IDs. The problem is solved.

There are two [url=http://www.thunder-link.com/HUAWEI-OPTIX-OSN3500_p187.html?search=OSN%203500]OSN 3500[/url], we config one EPL service with exterior port attribute is Hybrid, but we can not ping successfully with no VLAN message after configuration.

Handling Process

1,Creat the service firstly and then change the port attribute to Hybrid secondly, the service will be ok.

2,If the problem has happened, we should change the port attribute to ACCESS and change it to Hybrid again, then the service will be ok.

3,Change the UNI port attribute from Hybrid to ACCESS for both resource node and sink node(of course it should accord with the service need).

This problem exsit for all the V2R11 versions of NG-SDH, we can upgrade to the V2R11C00SPC300 and its later versions to solve this issue ultimately.
