skybeginner: Nairaland has continued to bless me for over a decade and counting in ways beyond expression which has translated into mega jobs, investment opportunities and opportunities to birth abroad- just to mention a few. Oh! I forgot to add, I met my darling spouse here on Nairaland in 2014 and our marriage is over a decade and counting Sorry to digress off point
So to the discourse of this thread, This year, I will be forty years of age; looking back at how far I have come, my heart is filled with so much gratitude and I really want to give to this community, my own first ever CSR for the opportunities I have enjoyed from here.
I have two cohorts for the CSR. The first cohort is for small businesses. The second cohort is for those interested in being equipped with corporate skills for the work place that makes your CV stand a good chance for being the employer's choice after interviews. I'll share more details about that in the Career Section much later.
For now, the Business community here would be enjoying the largesse-for those that are interested.
40 people will be given the opportunity to boost their businesses with one hundred thousand naira worth of products- given to you FREE of CHARGE, with little or no stress. The only thing is for you to prove that you are in business, or want to be in business using the leverage of this opportunity.
If you are interested, you are free to indicate interest here.
The call for proposal opens tomorrow by 9 a.m. WAT and closes immediately we reach the targeted number-40. It's on first come, first served basis.
Until then, take good care of yourselves and businesses Pls help hellanus and yarimo dem. Help their life pls |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Silence On Armed Forces Remembrance Day Sparks Controversy by ZombieDredd: 9:32am On Jan 16, 2025 |
LivingSage: Why is it that on this January 15, 2025, also called the Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Peter Obi, who claims to love Nigeria, has said NOTHING? No word of encouragement to the Nigerian Army for those lost during the Nigerian Civil War, which ended exactly fifty five years ago, today.
He has also said nothing about the killings of the persons who were killed precisely fifty-nine years ago today by Majors Chukwuma Nzeogwu, Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Chris Anuforo, Timothy Onwuategwu, and Donatus Okafor.
Does it mean that Peter Obi feels that the deaths of the following persons were justified, hence his loud silence?
Sir Ahmadu Bello-Fulani from Northern Region. 2. Sir Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa-Gere from Northern Region. 3. Samuel Ladoke Akintola-Yoruba from Western Region. 4. Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh-Itsekiri from the Midwest Region. 5. Hafsatu Bello (wife of Sir Ahmadu Bello)-Fulani from Northern Region. 6. Mrs Latifat Ademulegun (Brigadier Ademulegun's wife, who was eight months pregnant)-Yoruba from Western Region. 7. Brigadier Samuel Ademulegun-Yoruba from Western Region. 8. Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari-Kanuri from Northern Region. 9. Colonel Kur Mohammed-Kanuri from Northern Region. 10. Colonel Ralph Shodeinde-Yoruba from Western Region. 11. Lt. Colonel Abogo Lagerma-Marghi from Northern Region. 12. Lt. Colonel James Pam-Jos native from Northern Region. 13. Lt. Colonel Arthur Unegbe-Igbo from Eastern Region. 14. Sergeant Daramola Oyegoke-Yoruba from Western Region. 15. Police Constable Philip Lewande-Minority from Northern Region. 16. Police Corporal Akpan Anduka-Efik from Eastern Region. 17. Police Corporal Hagai Lai-Minority from Northern Region. 18. Police Corporal Yohana Garkawa-Minority from Northern Region. 19. Lance Corporal Musa Nimzo-Minirity from Northern Region. 20. Ahmed Pategi-Minority from Northern Region. 21. Zarumi Sardauna-Minority from Northern Region.
Except he posts AFTER this post, Mr. Obi has so far said NOTHING.

SmartyPants: Of course, that is obvious. We have a much larger army and the only meaningful airforce in the subregion. Without putting boots on the ground, our air force can decimate our neighbor's military infrastructure in a matter of hours. see, your airforce cannot project like that.... can nigeria airforce really do like Israel is doing currently? striking countries in their region.. forget patriotism oo.....soldiers have complained severally about airforce response time. anyways.... |
Politics › Re: Nigerian Army Would Easily Overrun Any Country In West Africa Within 24 Hours by ZombieDredd: 2:52pm On Jan 15, 2025 |
KnowAll: That is because they are battle tested. Being fighting Boko Haram for 20 years now. And With her air components it would be easy for Nigeria to overthrow any government in west Africa.
But the big question would be can they hold down after the deed is done. That I will say No. Even America that quickly subdued Saddam Hussien faced a ferocious battle keeping the peace.
What do you guys think.
As we celebrate Armed Forces remember’s day. this boasting sounds familiar.... oh yes, gowon said years ago it was going to be a 'police action' and would take days to quell. nearly 3 years later, millions died. |
