PoliticsRe: Anambra Guber: Court Disqualifies Tony Nwoye, Declares Ukachukwu Candidate by Zonacom(m): 6:10am On Sep 20, 2013
No election should be conducted in anambra state unless each party presents not morethan one candidate. Or better still, any party with morethan a candidate should be disqualified.

PDP tried this stupid tactics in anambra south and won the senatorial election. Now we know their plan and we say NO to it.

Davo93: Hmmm... i hate sounding the way i'm gonna sound now but its just the way i feel about the SE issue. Keshi needs to work more on what he has made most of us believe about him, the ethnic-sensitive behaviour he puts up. I still find it very difficult to believe some players have not been given a chance perhaps due to Keshi's love for a tribe. If we don't see Super Eagles as a National team, there will be problem in the future.

I also cannot fathom why the likes of Dele Olorundara, Haruna Babalo, Gbolahan Salami ,the NPL highest goal scorers has not been given a chance in the SE team. I'm sorry from digressing from the topic a bit. #teamNationalist
Be carefull bro, we dont want this in our nation's football at all.

FreeGlobe: you need more education and sensitizing, you can't even make a logical analysis. one party I can assure you will not win is APGA. Peter is hated in Anambra and can't support a candidate to win, his candidate is still unpopular and APGA with 2 candidates is in crises.
Funny enough you captioned your thread 'the fraud peter obi is being exposed'. But is peter obi more of a fraud than your andy or ifeanyi? We all saw what andy and his bros did to anambra during their hay days. And we all also know the kind of business ifeanyi is into. You cant rob the masses and turn back to form philanthropy with the money you stole.

FreeGlobe: you must be smoking cheap weed man to use a single okada man's opinion in onitsha to decide the pulse of the people. smh. Not even traders or civil servants, your illiteracy levels on Anambra is alarming. I don't even support Ifeanyi Uba, Andy Uba is my person but having just returned from Anambra this past week, I can assure you Ifeanyi Ubah is on ground more than all candidates followed by Ngige.
Typical you. Always hauling insults over nothing. Dont worry, come nov 16th we will know who's ignorant about anambra's politics. Both andy and ifeanyi are least likely to win this race, be it on a free and fair basis or otherwise.
Though everybody is entitled to his wish, but any so called literate anambrarian who in his fair mind wishes that andy or ifeanyi wins this race needs to be psycologically examined.

asha 80: undecidedthis sounds like tales by moonlight.
Tales by moonlight shey? I dont care if you believe me or not. I'm not a supporter of peter obi even. Infact i became angry with APGA the moment they disqualified soludo, and i have even decided not to vote on election day even though i will be in awka by then. But the fact still remains that all those castigating peter obi online hoping to spoil apga's chance of winning the election are sitting on a long thing. You cant be resident in lagos and think that your posts on nairaland will decide who wins an election in anambra. The traders, transporters, artisans and the rural farmers in each of constituencies know who they can trust based on what he has done for them.
PoliticsRe: The Fraud Peter Obi Is Being Exposed by Zonacom(m): 10:27am On Sep 18, 2013
Mrs freeglobe are you done supporting andy uba? Why the sudden likeness for ifeanyi?

Anyway, my sister who just got back from onitsha recently gisted me on the current situation on ground in Anambra. According to her, she had a conversation with an okada man who took her from the nkisi area to upper iweka because of the traffic problem caused by ifeanyi ubah's rally at the bassilica. She asked the okada man whether they are going to vote for ubah cos the guy and many other okada men were putting on ubah's campaign vest. But the guy laughed and said ubah is just wasting his money that he will never win. And funny enough, the okada man said they are going to vote for whoever peter obi asks them to vote. When asked about ngige, the okada man said ngige should face the senate and allow another man to try the governorship. She said, the okadaman went further to explain that peter obi's candidate is from 'mba mmili'(water area in anambra north), and that the area deserves to produce the next governor since they have never had the chance.

After i heard this story from her, it became clear to me that peter obi has successfully sold his agenda to the masses.

Anyway, to me both guys are superb. I understand phyno cos i'm igbo while olamide makes me wish i could understand yoruba as well. I JUST CAN'T WAIT FOR THE DUO TO DROP ANOTHER COLABO. But sentiments aside, olamide is currently doing better. Olamide is well known almost all over the country but phyno has got fan base mostly in the east only. For example, in jos(where i am currently), you hardly hear phyno's songs played by DJs but olamide's songs are well played

CultureRe: "Mangu Arna" - An Insult To The Cultural Heritage Of Plateau Heritage by Zonacom(m): 1:52pm On Sep 10, 2013
And about the Mangu-Arna tin, i think the over welcoming attitude of the mwaghavul man is to blame here. I know mangu quite well. Without exageration i can say mangu area is the highest producer of maize and like comodities in this country. Every week, many trucks transport huge quantity of agricultural produce from the town down to the southern part of the country. Mangu also plays host to a lot of non indegenes ranging from hausas, igbos, yorubas and many other ethnic groups. This i can say is because of the relatively low cost of living in the town.
The mwaghavul people constitute morethan 90% of the indegenous population and morethan 70% of them are christians. But the little muslim population in the area are waxing stronger and building more mosques and islamic institutions. The hausa muslims, being very cunning are gradually buying many lands and landed properties all around the area thereby making them very powerful. And the mwaghavul people on their part have been foolishly selling out their lands to the hausas(just like the berom did in jos north back then). Also, a lot of hausa males marry the mwaghavul females thereby converting them to islam but you would hardly see any christian male getting married to a hausa girl. And the annoying thing to me here is that the hausa residents in mangu see the mwaghavul people as fools. Just like the writer put it, they(hausas) view every other non-hausa residents of the area as 'arna'.
CultureRe: "Mangu Arna" - An Insult To The Cultural Heritage Of Plateau Heritage by Zonacom(m): 1:11pm On Sep 10, 2013
Not surprised at all. The Hausa man has so dominated the entire north to the extent that most of the minority tribes in the middle belt are almost unknown to other parts of nigeria.
Having stayed on the plateau for long(though an igbo guy), i understand quite well the feelings of the writer. But i must say that the middle belterns have some share of the fault by almost abandoning their various dialects for hausa language in the name of civilization.
Just recently, a friend of mine from jos south was somehow complaining about the way igbos in the east refer to some tribes from plateau as 'ndi hausa'(hausa people). The guy felt that igbos are wicked for seeing them as hausa people. I told the guy that the main problem is with them(the middle belterns) cos they've virtually sold themselves out to the hausa folks.
Finally, for the minority tribes of the north central states to free themselves from the dominance of their hausa neighbours, it would require a lot of fight.

Obi should gradually bow out because this is nothing short of a mischievous stunt, he wants to create chaos and thrown Anambra into commotion. During the 2010 election, we heard this same BS on Nairaland but Ngige was still embarrassed! Expect more embarrassment come Nov 16. The traders sure have little interest in anambra politics but what about the politicians themselves? They dont give up at all. Just imagine a scenario where APC takes APGA and INEC to court for rigging the election. And 4 yrs later, obiano(if he wins) would claim that court distractions prevented him from performing well. Obi gave such an excuse after his first tenure.
And do you know what bro, i dont blame the traders at onitsha and nnewi for being indifferent about anambra politics. Our so-called elites are so self-centered
