Now I feel this sell is to trap other traders.. Since this is a pullback and not untill I see a close above the last high(1814) I'm not going short..

There is a strong chance that 1786-1783 may be retested first before this sell from 1802 to 1765, maybe 1759.

I anticipate and prefer to enter via a bullish divergence that will trigger a safe run to 1802 {preferred} or I observe the non-divergence pullback to 1802 from where we would still sell

XAUUSD update... I'm taking a close look at this pair now and something drew my attention. the bearish divergence on 1hrtf seems to be a pullback as it has not extended to the 4hrtf.. Likely the buy on gold will continue any time soon.
Will be looking for an entry around 1793 that's if price gets there.
Pls bosses can help to correct me

Last H4 candle close has re-confirmed the continuation of the earlier bearish D1 call.

It has also strongly indicated that there will first be a fresh bullish retest of 1802-1804 before the bearish continuation.

It is safest to close current sell positions in profit and wait to re-enter sell at retest of 1802-1804.

TP1 may still be reached before the bullish pullback; TP2 is highly improbable at this time.

I stopped trading for the year after the contest @Gabsonfx held here but with all the insightful discussions on prop firms I decided to try it out today and Twas quite easy passing the $10k alc cos all that I needed was 50 pips

Most times the reason I figured that most traders fail is one that has been repeatedly talked about “PATIENCE”

In picking entries, most traders instead of sitting on their hands waiting for the OTE would rather dive in at a consolidating market…

I’m gonna go in fully into this prop firm next year God willing lemme still emulate some bosses here…

Will sell gold with 100 pips SL, the second leg of the HnS is now a lower low which is just nice. The target for the pattern is 1638 and that is where i would place my TP.

Currently, PA is strongly indicative of Gold being in a transient bearish pullback {probably to daily support around 1784-1782 or even, further to 1765-1763} within an on-going Weekly Bullish Momentum to 1861 thereabout.

There will need to be a failed retest of the Weekly Support/Swap Zone around 1758-1761 to reverse this momentum and head further south.

Until then, we are swinging oooh....

I called longs for GJ on 6/12/2021. So far I've made about 400+ pips. I believe there's still room for 100 pips more as a supply zone is yet unfilled and I consider the whole of this week a week for buyers so I'll close every open position tomorrow.

From next week, I'll sell. Since I don't see any obstacle till 137,any short position opened will remain so till I'm satisfied by how much pips are "in the basket"

...on the D1 timeframe, there is rarely any difference. At lower timeframes, you will see a lot of variation across brokers.

...add the Volume Profile to your chart and you will have some confluence to the answer. Note that every previous breach {attempt} was not backed up by increasing volume gradient in the day before and the day of the breach.

...look back at the increasing volume of the last two days and by the end of today, it will be clearer... three days of increasing volume gradient...e get why....cheers bro....
