Looks too tight

daily high on Xau is 1911.5

Your trade is suggesting market will breakout without retesting the daily high even though we are at the 5 month low

Think about these things and make ya decision

For me, I think any short from Xau is safer coming in around 1891 after market has broken down to 1876.

I.e Market falls to 1876 then retests 1891 area

If I was trading Xau and looking for a big move of 600 pips, I really wouldn't take any trade unless it gets to 1916 (possible bullish) or 1876 area.

I think it's position will become clearer from Thursday or Friday.

At the bolded, exactly my point.
I agree the SL may be tight, reviewing that to 1914 just in case; but from my end, very unlikely, though I may be wrong...thanks for the heads-up Chief. 🥂

I understand your concerns Chief, 1897 was the breakline and that is why I manually took profit there; except the retest candles were unlinked, it had never spiked before the breakline in the backtest that I did.

I guess I will retool my TP to be the breakline to avoid stories that touch. 🥂

Those are the areas to consider shorting from

If market closes with a pinbar at 1906 level today, it could retest 1925 or up to 1932

Weekly high is 1946 and close is 1942

My two cents:
If your bias is bearish on Xau and you want to get a bearish move of up to 600 pips or more on Xau, allow it to get to 1882, then wait for market to print a pinbar on daily.

Two things can happen off there, a retest to 1902/1922 or a breakout to 1810

The first option is more likely but wait till that happens if you want a big move rather than day trading Xau every single day

As such, 1954 was invalidated and the dip to 1910 from its origin of 1972 on H4 was inevitable...reaction around 1910 anticipated to determine next tradable trend.

...it should be a short dip, just to fill imbalances. Except the structure in M5 changes, the bullish rally from 1924-1926 to 1954 is still valid. Afterwards, the H4 dip can begin to even 1774.
