...when I said, Range before Sell in my last comment, I suspected there will be a spike first.

I use NZDJPY {M15} to see a magnifying glass view of Gold {M15}...I have a pending Sell Limit at 85.21 and a pending Buy Limit at 83.99...market has been ranging for the past 36 hours and none has been triggered.

Whenever any of those trades are activated, Gold's direction will be clearer for me...cheers

1811.1 - 1810.1 is my discount price, targeting 1834.1.

Any close below this in H1, is either for a range or sell to 1773, maybe, lower.

To profit from the market,I believe a swing trader has to be open to choose several assets. This comes with its own discipline because having a large amount of asset at your disposal and personally choosing to trade a particular set is what is required to manage equity (this is different from hiding off some pairs so you "can't" see them or trade them) . This is like having a large buffet where you choose which food you want to eat instead of having a limited choice of food and consequently being "forced" to eat what is available.

The discipline involved helps you to not overtrade and consequently straining equity.

Swing setups take a longer period to complete and for the benefit of trading experience, I believe a new swing trader should spend more time with the market so that necessary mistakes can be made and strategies can easily be determined.

Using myself as an example, i have all the assets at my disposal but I choose to trade mostly jpy pairs, EA, usdcad,oil,US100 and probably gold. This has had it's impact on my experience as some of these are very volatile assets and i don't want to blow my account so I must be rigid with my risk management .

My win rate is still less than 50% but my account is not dead.
So, i hope you gerrit

D1 is currently in a pullback within a predominantly bearish trend.

H1 is suggestive of a shift in structure, having created zones with unharvested liquidity pools in the 90.50 & 89.75 areas.

M15 shows a cluster {accumulation} of buy-side liquidity between 1915HRS & 2200HRS candles of 20th May.

FIRST TRADE PLAN {23 - 27 May, 2022}

1. Anticipate further pullback to 89.75.

2. Anticipate a rejection between 89.75 & 89.63 in M5.

3. If rejection occurs, a bullish rally is expected to at least 90.50.

BUY - 89.75
SL - 89.60 {minus Spread of 3 pips}
RR - 1: 5 {75 pips}

....will discuss the second trade plan if and when the current plan is completed as predicted.

Well done sir, do you use hot forex as a broker? How great are they please, especially in terms of educating young traders.

Greetings bro. Yes, I use HFM {Hotforex}. They are fair {manageable} in terms of their spread during low liquidity periods, fairly faster withdrawals than a bunch of other brokers and minimal lag on MT4 trade execution.

...about educating young traders, I don't endorse any courses from them {they have a few}. You are better off starting from "babypips" and progressing to your tweaked strategy, eventually.
