I can't believe Nigeria has a Social Network Platform and it's not trending, no one is talking about it.

A few days ago something was troubling my mind and it's all about "Why Nigeria doesn't have a home based Social Network Platform.

Then I decided to pick up my phone and do some research. lo and behold I found out that Nigeria actually has a social network platform called Dooliant. and I was like so there's a hidden gem causing shockwaves, and its name is Dooliant Social.
Now, the real question is, why haven't you heard about it until now? It's time to start making use of our own platform honestly and make it into a social media experience like no other.

And Surprisingly, I found out that one can even monetize their content on dooliant and start earning income. It's crazy and I have been struggling to monetize my Facebook but I cant because facebook hate us nigeria and will not allow our country to monetize on their platform. it's sad.

I was 18yrs old when I started and now 23yrs in 2024. i started with solo learn app, I didn't have a PC but I didn't care I was determined to code because I wanted to know the secrets of computers and how the hell google, Facebook and others where made so I use to surf the internet a lot about them and how I could get into coding that's when I stumbled on you can code with your phone Omo see the smile on my face 😊 that time. I downloaded the app and I finished learning and and answered tutorials on html css JavaScript in the first week within 2 weeks I learnt like almost 10 language that was how I knew the secret of coding and all the different functional programming where all just similar like JavaScript, python, c, c# ,c++ are all similar it's just capitalism that separates them into the different entities all for fame and money

Why do we need a registration page for a website? How does Facebook remembers your login details? Why do u collect emails?how do you update and collect posts? Where does all your registration details go to and ur images, videos, likes, followers how are they always intact when ever you return to the website all this is the work of backend and database which makes a website dynamic website unlike just a site built with html and css which just makes the website plain and not dynamic but a static website which can't collect informations or update informations in real time

Yes it's truly not advisable to design a website without the ui/ux design it's unprofessional

They deal with the server side programming, database management and anything that isn't client side. It's less annoying than front end as I've heard, I hate HTML and CSS with my life.

Then you must have started programming with functional programming like C, C++, Java, python, JavaScript etc all this language will not be easy for u to transition into design or web design programming like HTML and CSS but this two are the simplest to know compare to functional programming. The same can be said for those who started with HTML and CSS it will be hard to transition to functional programming like java, c++, JavaScript

Backend is tougher than frontend and more complex I do both. frontend especially in react.js is not that hard but you see that backend ehnn if you want to integrate it to frontend na problem be that just always ensure u're doing version control with GitHub or gitlab so as to be extra careful when things go wrong


It's much easier to run the frontend and being able to solve the errors than with the backend which to me is like pouring poison into your frontend code and might end up screwing your frontend code if u're not strongly familiar with backend functionalities that's when to use GitHub to flyback to when the code was working. This why backends are paid more
