You are on the right track. Modern WordPress theme development is moving jam stack. WordPress also has Gutenberg which is powered by React. Learn React well then pick up gatsby or nextjs. I have been doing jamstack for about a year. Tons of opportunities for you.

go to youtube save offline or download John Smilga html/css tutorial. It was initially an udemy course before he uploaded it on YouTube (not so sure of the facts though). You can also visit Kevin Powell's channel on YouTube for cool tutorials. All in all, the journey is still too far to start spending money on udemy, wait till you get to react.

Someone directed me to downloadly.net to get the complete CSS course by "jonas schmendatt"but no be small data, na 18.74 GB so downloading it bit by bit, hope his a good tutor?

You can download Udemy courses from downloadly.net and unzip with WinRAR. I guess from Jonas Schmedtmann; there's some extra details in his CSS courses that I personally like.

Combine with w3schools or a book tho.
