We also need to consider the business climate of Nigeria. Honestly, if I were to be an investor coming into this country, I'd think very very very very carefully before coming. The power (electricity) issue lasan is enough not to talk of the cutthroat nature of business in Nigeria, corruption in government, dishonesty amongst retailers etc.

Inasmuch as a service center is expedient, I believe Umidigi as a company will have lots of factors to consider. Remember that as someone said, dem no dey the same level with Xiaomi.

I finally got to the end of this thread!
It has been a real eye opener and coupled with the power of screenshot I've learnt a whole lot more than I knew before.
Big ups to oga @ Okoroemeka (na man you be) , Ideepaul, FarmTech and other gurus who started this journey from page 1. You've done well
I already have a small backyard garden where I've been planting vegetables since March (lockdown gave me the willpower to do this) and coupled with what I've learnt here, I decided to add cucumber planting also (just for my personal consumption). Ọga Okoroemeka has been of tremendous help. He responded promptly to my messages to him on WhatsApp and gave valuable insights.

I planted the seeds (cucumber) this evening and my fingers arre crossed.

Those using a7 pro and A3S, we found out how to disable fingerprint if you want to sleep.
Go-to settings, tap display, tap advanced, tap lock screen display, then activate show lockdown option.

How to disable the fingerprint, hold the power button, tap lockdown. Your fingerprint has been deactivated, you can only open your phone with the pattern or pin.

I'm really delighted with this A7pro.The Samsung cameras are wonderful. I went for this phone most especially COS of the Samsung cameras and they delivered. I saw a previous post from a guy here saying the cameras are bad. Lo and behold, it was the direct opposite. The guy is really crazy.

I was at an event yesterday and the videographer used an A7Pro to supplement his videos and I was pleasantly surprised!
The video output was awesome and top-notch . I kid you not, the phone performed well.
When we talk of our Umidigi devices,be rest assured that were speaking of what we know about!

As a refresher course, get your phone connected to a device, set the other device as unmetered and update your device.

If the unmetered connection doesn't work, revert back to metered.

u can try another phone to test d theory out... no matter how u snap pix tru WhatsApp, it can never , i repeat never be as clear and vibrant as using the Normal Stock Camera,..

WhatsApp purposely did it to truncate the pix quality and size

Whatsapp dey reduce the size (storage) of picture thereby reducing picture quality.

You can try and reduce picture content like location data

Your submission is noted but that's not the issue. It's not about reducing picture size(storage) but about the camera bug (sort of) when taking pictures on WhatsApp.

The picture attached is what I get when I try to either upload a picture status or share a picture in my WhatsApp.
Note that the normal camera output is okay as this issue only concerns WhatsApp.

1. What could be the cause?
2. What's the remedy?

PS, I've cleared cache many times and restart WhatsApp and phone plenty times but it's still the same.
