I truly have no idea how Edo state election will turn out, but I hope the best candidate wins. But to address your comment @vowiski, it should interest you to know that the INEC REC in Edo state is Wike's Kinsman, and was put there by Yours Truly. vowiski: |
chymeze:Quite simple.. They are Brothers in Law |
Alright , I'm simple dropping my idea here. Uhmm, i believe in sharing ideas and most importantly, helping each other get to their goals. My idea is simple, I'd love to have a group of sport bettors to share their games and reasons behind their picks, if we can come together and share our best picks that can give us a daily 10odd, (the bests backed picks), there will be loses but sure winnings, now the logic behind it is to bankroll and have a target of minimum wins within 30 days, eg: 3 wins in a month breaks even, and anything above 3 wins in 30 game days becomes profit. I'm open to suggestions, also starting up a what'sapp group for all interest parties. If this is a welcomed idea, then I would drop the whatsapp group link to enable sharing our thoughts, stats idea together. One love |
blancsn1:I was just going to scroll past after acknowledging your points which are valid, but not all. If you do play monopoly, you'd know why Tinubu could achieve so much in his time as gov. Do you know what it means for Nigeria to have just one functional sea port, Lagos has and always will be the capital of Nigeria for me, Abuja is jus their relaxation spot away from the hustle and bustle. So I need not remind you that virtually any sane person who wants to work and had the opportunity to govern lagos in that era would have done nothing less than what Tinubu achieved, or even much more, so please understand that if all sea ports in the country were operational, I can most certainly guarantee you wouldn't be a resident of lagos and the population would be way much less. |
One more thing, before you start criticising aspirants, hear what they have to say, don't read headlines and start talking like fools. Most of you can't spend 5 minutes watching an interview of the aspirants, but can scroll through instagram watching yansh all day, bloody idiots, how many here have watched the full interviews done by Peter obi to start with, this said topic under scrutiny was well addressed by him, but many chose to pick a word out of a sentence and start ranting like diks, grow the fuvk up, the earlier the better, its not about your future alone, it's about your siblings, friends, family, and the life you want for them. |
My only advice to everyone and a lot of the light headed and extreme dunces roaming nairaland and nigeria at large is please vote wisely. Listen to the aspirants, the best person for a job is one you can engage in conversation, there's always room for correction. I am not promoting any candidate but if you are supporting someone who is thinking of who he needs to bribe, play internal party politics, fight, discredit and more from sitting in his bedroom, just know, when they get into power, it's still the same way they got in that they'd use to govern you, this time, from the other room, don't let your vote go to waste, 8 years backward from today is beyond suicide, its clear cut massacre. My 2 cents |
Officialgarri:I can understand your worries, and I'm sure millions of Nigerians want a solution to fuel subsidy. I would like to refresh your memory that this exorbitant sum spent of subsidy is mostly because of poor power generation, and dependence on importation, removing or reducing subsidy would only have a positive significance when we can generate and distribute adequate power supply across nigeria, then the dependence on imports would reduce, and reduction in volume against availability would drive down the amount spent on subsidy which then creates more funds to be invested in other areas of the economy. I haven't voted since the inception of democracy in 99', 23' is an exception , I'm disappointed that the youths or eligible voters don't demand to speak to the candidates who desire to run for the presidency, I belong to no party, don't believe in tribalism and nepotism, I believe in the process, I really look forward to the aspirant engaging the populace on how they intend to move nigeria forward, not by spending ridiculous amount of money to solicit for votes all because of personal ambitions, it'd only mean they would need to refill their pockets and dig up more well to store profits before attending to the real reason of them being elected in the first place. We need debates, records and notable achievements, we are past the age of tribal and ethnic voting, we all breathe the same air, if you want dictators to rule you all until 2031, then vote the old ways by eating nkwobi and washing it down with 5 bottles of in exchange for your vote and spend the next 8 years working 8 times as hard as you've done in the past 7 years so far. Just stating my 2 cents |
