Withdraw everything. Leave them for 3 weeks at least before any form of vaccination. And, as a first timer, do not go organic method yet. Now, i dont give vaccine, what i do is to give drugs because most drugs nowadays prevents and cure. Anyone you notice with sign, isolate. If possible invite expert in for expection and advise

Sometimes I wonder why all the drugs and injections on livestock. Local feeds enjoy their free range and do not get vaccinated or receive drugs. Nature works for them.

Can we not just find better spaces sometimes, alllow livestock to exercise and see the effect on their health?

Oga, these are genetically modified birds. They are more susceptible to diseases.

They thrive best in a controlled environment.

After administering LaSota vaccine yesterday, we have lost 9 today. I would appreciate expert opinions and probably any vets in Ilorin to come check them up.

Have you serve them stressroak also with the lasota

That's the plan bro. But as a starter, seeing your birds die can be unsettling. No more vaccines. And hopefully, no more inorganic medications. And we will be free-ranging them once we get to our farmland. Those are the reasons that inspired Kuroiler farming in the first place.

I would have loved to do the Fulani chickens and hatch our own eggs. But less than 100 eggs in a year doesn't sound too viable, at least, for us. With Kuroilers, getting an average of 100/120 eggs will be beautiful.

Thank you. We went to a popular vet pharmacy in Ilorin today. They said we gave the LaSota when they were too weak to receive one. They said something about their organs turning brown. They prescribed some medications. We can only hope it works. Thanks for your concern.
Sorry for this... We have actually developed some herbal products that will enable you grow these birds without the use of vaccination and synthetic drugs. I will be giving you some for free if you are intrested and mortality will stop immediately.

These birds like the ISA brown will be highly susceptible to Newcastle and Gumboro, unfortunately there are no known drugs that handles these except for vaccines. But have developed herbal formulation to help out that's highly effective.

How true is the notion that they survive better and are stronger than Broilers? They shocked me the first few days of their arrival oo. Looking settled now...we thank God.

Buy why Kuroiler?

1. Cost of day old chicks. We want to be able to hatch our fertile eggs and hopefully, expand the business.

2. Ability to free-range: we know the cost of feed isn't coming down anytime soon and we want to be big. It will be easier to feed them just once in a day and let them survive on their own afterwards. That's even beneficial for the health of our customers that will turn them into pepper soup. Grass-fed chickens are dope.

3. If done right, the local fowls can be productive, Kuroiler is a step above them in terms of productivity. And we believe are miles ahead of the broilers when it comes to the ability to survive.

Yeah, most likely. It's saddening to see the numbers we have lost ever since administering the LaSota on day 6 sha. Lost 20 or more birds now. I need help, please.

Bro to train day old birds is not easy at all, it is for those who have mind,
Don't loose hope based on the ones that have died, it is always like that

We will definitely be adding that, God's willing. Egg seems to have the widest poultry market. But we would love to move this to a decent point before that. Thanks for the advice.

Did you give them vitamins before and after the Lasota Vaccine administration?

Did you strictly follow the dosage of the administration?

Did you validate the chlorine concentration in the water so as to know the quantity of milk to use?

I will advice you to use wood shavings...I found out saw dust will lead to CRD. They have poor nostrils and can get blocked by the small particles easily, which can Lead to difficulties in respiration.

I two weeks time, that space will not be enough for them... I can see proper ventilation there but the sun can be a very big issue later on. The birds will want to avoid the sun as it comes in and they cluster to one side all the time with the smaller birds been trapped below, which will lead to low immunity and possible disease. PLAN FOR A BIGGER SPACE and watch out for sun encroachment during the rising and setting of the sun. If it affects the pen, you can't do full stocking.
