wtf is wrong with Simbi(it's Simbiat 4 Christ's sake) and Margaret? They are nice names IMO.

The jest-twisted (caricature) of some sweet names made pple to stop making use of them!

If those names are outmoded & weird, are d common new ones any more appealing:

Rhema, Miracle, Covenant, ThankGod, Scholastica etc cool
Re: Do People Still GiveTheir Babies These Funny Names? by ayobase(m): 5:12pm On Jul 26, 2012
rman: Kids on nairaland.

There is nothing wrong with all the names listed by posters. People may pronounce them with the wrong accent, thats all.

Some of the local or religious names have beautiful meanings.

We are seriously losing it if we think foreign names are cool.

Even the aliases on nairaland are cool and creative and I find names like Ileke-idi, Demdem, even Born2fuck as creative.

We all need to grow up

Sweeties, just catching fun here......activate ur sense of humour!

Sisi_Kill: Sometimes it is not the names that are funny, it's the way people "prononce"it.

What the hell is 'Alimo (for Halima)or Fatimo (for Fatima)

That just irks me angry angry

Of course there some names that not even pronouncing it with the best accents can't redeem it.

Bashira
Mukaila
Cletus

Have you noticed you rarely see people in high positions bearing these names. . .President Cletus or Honorable Mukaila or Chief Justice Bashira.

Hmmm, are parents already determining their kids future by giving them these ugly names?

Food for thought. cheesy

Na u understand pass jare!
