Former military president Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida will address the National Defence College (NDC) Abuja participants on strategic vision and national development.

A total of 130 participants of course 20 of the college including 40 officers from the army, 36 from the navy, 35 from the air force and two officers each from the police and the SSS as well as 10 senior military officers from 10 African countries will graduate on August 3.

The Commandant of the College, Rear Admiral Thomas Lokoson, said yesterday that the college which was established on June 16 1992, was celebrating its 20th anniversary while 130 participants would be graduating. He said a graduation lecture with the theme ‘strategic vision and national development: reflecting on the creation of the NDC 20 years after’ would be presented by Babangida.

He said the College had formulated a draft National Security Policy for the country which was distributed to all security agencies and stakeholders for recommendations.

Like dem or hate dem. These old generals hv seen d best and worst of wars, coups and assasinations. More often dan not, they are logical thinkers. Methinks they can impart sm tricks 2 d new gen. At least, just not their evil deeds. He isn't cald d 'evil genius' 4 nothing.

Well, He still remains the best leader Nigeria has ever produced from 1970 to date.....excluding the brief period of Murtala mohammed btwn 1975-76 and including when Obasanjo took over and put Nigeria into a very big debt by hosting FESTAC plus other extravagant spending too numerous to mention and also taught Nigerian leaders how to steal money in Billions. and ofcourse he has a record of achievements not yet surpassed by any of his successors
