You can Google "tafsir of any verse" just add the chapter and verse number. Can't do much now, battery dying soon.

The simple explanation is that those verses refer to battles. There's no army in that world that doesn't kill in battle. Take that as your starting point.

Can anyone show me any country that has a majority christian population that was attacked and did not fight back?
