I Woke up this morning feeling very patriotic. So I thought that NairaLanders should be at the very core of the renewed effort to keep the Nigerian project afloat. So, come on, let,s burn some intelectual calories: 3 suggestions please on what can/should/must be done to take Nigeria to the next level.

FIX ELECTRICITY, and every other thing shall follow!

Improve Power Supply
Better Security
Better Education

And , kill all corrupt officials

1, Massive improvement in infrastructure(Electricity,Roads and transportation,Housing etc)
2, Total clampdown on corruption and corrupt officials(This can be achieved by amending the constitution to attract capital punishment like the death penalty or life imprisonment for corruption related offences)
3, Massive Improvement in security(Again this can be achieved by equipping the police appropriately)

Corruption is the bane of our problem in Nigeria,until this enemy is completely erased out,the struggles will still continue,come to think of it why is light not working,what contribute to the depreciating infrastructures,why are the roads bad,what is killing our schools,hospitals etc,everything can be traceable to corruption,until this is totally eradicated,there can never be any meaningful change in Nigeria.

Enforce the Rule of Law no matter who is involved and all problems will be taken care of.
