Normally I ship my clothes from the US through a freight company called all world shipping. My focus is more on brand new children clothes and men dress shirts like Polo and Hugo boss. I have not had any problem with customs.

Go to MicoStar Mall (www.micostarmall.com). I own a boutique in Abuja and I buy all my goods from MicoStar Mall. They are very good and you are sure of get genuine and the exact sale price. I also don't have to worry about custom or clearing my goods because they take care of all that. All I do is look for the items I want from the various stores in MicoStar Mall, fill out a request form on their site, they send me an invoice, I make a payment to their company account and they do the rest. Which includes shipping, clearing and delivery. So I don't even bother myself with what is banned or not or even Nigeria customs.
Also once you register on their site, they will inform you when there are big sales and promotions going on. They are also rated in Google and by customers as the best and safest online mall people living in Africa can shop and receive goods directly from overseas. They have over 100 overseas stores you can select from.

kukus01: undecidedits not illegal as far as i know as long as its for your personal use i order clothes online alot and even get them delivered to my office by the niaja post office themselves i suggest u use the registered mail option with the post office over there when placing ur order with that u get ur goods delivered to doorstep in less than 14 working days.

Pls can you enlighten me on how to make use of the registered mail option, i guess you mean NIPOST. Isn't it suppose to be free using this shipping method?

when u say:'Textile Fabrics of all types' does this include fabrics like Calico, chiffon, Corduroy, fabrics for shirts and suits etc i.e fabrics other than African prints? or can one categorize these as tailoring materials when importing?
